Issue: NPC Followers

Not sure if this happens on all platforms. On several occasions, when i have an NPC following me, I will be unable to push them out of the way when moving. Like they are rooted in place. I think they're normally supposed to be able to be pushed aside when walking into them. Currently I have this problem with Scar and he is trapping me in one of the tunnels in the mine. The only thing that seemed to work was telling them we'll hang out later and waiting for them to walk away. Then trying again at another time.

Issue: Mining characters are still getting stuck on the W most rock in the Glade and since you can't push characters at the moment you have to teleport to get them away.

ETA: The update and game in general are fantastic! Keep up the good work! And the entire community appreciates you taking our suggestions.

Issue: Hello. My problem is with Mickey's "Gastronomy" mission. Even though I have completed all the steps and have the ingredients that Mickey asks for, he does not come to my house to cook. I have tried growing more apples and wheat to have more quantity, I have tried in the morning and in the afternoon. The game does not even offer me the option to invite him to my house. Thank you.

Issue: NPCs with the Mining Trait get stuck at this point in Glade of Trust - lasts ~30 seconds of them flickering between standing and bending to get the "extra" mined item. Happens with all Mining NPCs, regardless of model size.

I had this same issue. I just gave them a little nudge with my character and they were fine right after. Though not every character you are able to nudge.

Platform: PC Windows 10 -
There is an event duty to have a daily conversation with Merlin. Since 9am until now 3:14pm he has not had the chat options available only "Let's hang out" and "I have something to give you" or "Sorry, I can't right now."

very odd, since merlin as always had the chat option whenever I've clicked 'E' on him previously.

After the update i noticed some characters are sliding while moving instead of walking. Thus far I've seen ||Ariel|| do it but also ||The Forgotten|| during the cutscene.

Issue: Despite the patch notes stating that Donald Duck has found his land legs and will have less tantrums, he is still having them frequently. I’ve been playing for around 30 minutes and he’s had 4 tantrums already.

I also have this issue. Gave Scar one of his favourite items for the day which bumped him from level 1 to 3, skipping level 2. Never been an issue before... i have also met the other criteria (Progress further with Remi). Everything has a check next to it.

Issue: Donald is constantly falling and then doing his hissy fit animation over and over. I didn’t have issues with his fit before the update but while outside his home and in scrooges shop, he would walk one step, fall, and scream and then do it again after one step.

Donald is still throwing fits every 5 seconds. I was in the forest of Valor and I watched him have 3 tantrums in the span of less than a minute. He would take 3 steps fall down and start screaming, then get up and repeat it.

I noticed that not all characters fit through some of the tunnels in the new mines. I was took Maui since he’s one of my mining buddies and realized he wasn’t following me , when I went back he was stuck in one once the tunnels that were narrow due to blocks on the path. However, I forgot to take a picture since I was trying to get him through or make him move out. Ended up going and switching him for another smaller character to come with.

Also having issues with donald having a tantrum on repeat. yeah it's shorter, but now he starts it constantly also he's following me around even though I don't have one of his quests tracked and don't have him as a companion. Very distressing. Also having MUCH more issues with being blocked by npcs, even ones I could usually move now sometimes don't move. I have to dismiss companions before going into my house or I can't actually get into it.

Having issues with being unable to ask many companions to follow you around. So far Mickey and Elsa work, but Gothel and Merlin don't have the option.
Edit: Gothel seems fine now. It's possible that she was having a conversation with Merlin(not quest related) and that stopped them being recruited.

They fixed the NPC trapping issue so why would they revert the problem back?

Platform: Ps4 Issue: Eric says the wrong dialogue when initiating a hangout/ending a hangout. He says "goodbye, hope we can go on an expedition again sometime" when you ask to hang out and an affirmative phrase when ending the hangout (i forgot what it was). Little thing, but a bug none the less.

I know with this updated Donald was supposed to have found his "land legs" but he's been having a tantrum in this spot in the Forgotten Lands for several minutes straight - the entire time it took for me to harvest, buy, and replant 56 pumpkins. It's been train whistle and yelling for way longer than he's ever had a fit before. I'm not sure if he's stuck or something breaks in the Forgotten Lands or what.

This patch was supposed to be the fix to "Remembering Old Times" The Minnie clock quest. Already built it once, she is still asking for it. Now it is completely deleted from my crafting menu. I can't make it at all now, even if I wanted to. And, she is still asking for it.

Goofy self-cancels out of the first one or two attempts to shop any stall. There are no furniture items or other NPCs/critters in his way he just nopes it.
Hanging out with Scar crashes my game, I last about 6 minutes tops before the game freezes or goes to that awful vignette screen.

Issue: NPCs at Chez Remy do not display their wanted food. I cooked for everybody that has been present, returned later when new people came around but they do not inidicate their wish. Also restarting the game did not help.

Issue: This started as an annoyance and now is becoming a serious issue. Maui becomes a literal brick wall at times as in I can't push past him when his in front of a door or bridge. This changes while he's a companion but I have to level up friendships on other characters so keeping him as a companion so that other areas are at least accessible is kind of a no go. I've had this multiple times where I need to enter certain areas but he's in front of the entrance flexing or just staring at me. I was just trying to feed a raccoon across a bridge when Maui suddenly walks onto it giving me no way to cross it. Once I moved the raccoon fled and I was left frustrated. He's probably one of the biggest characters next to maybe Ursula but considering she's in water there's not much a problem.

Issue: Since the update, Donald's tantrums have not decreased, but increased significantly. I never had an issue with him having tantrums as much as he does now. He had 6 tantrums in the matter of a minute. They are shorter now, but seem to trigger one after another, than he'll bolt away. I noticed Prince Eric is having a similar issue. He will start to play his flute, stop, then within seconds start to play his flute, stop, and repeat, until he suddenly bolts away.

Issue: Moana is not moving aside the way the other characters do, so if I'm hanging out with her, then go into the house, she'll stand and stay in the doorway and I can't move her aside to get into the house. This happens everywhere, not just in home. We were chasing a bunny to feed, and the little critter got caught in a space and could not move away until i ran away enough to pull Moana with me and out of his way.

Donald Duck is having I'd say ten times more tantrums compared to before the Patch (which was supposed to make them less frequent). I'm talking 6 separate tantrums in the scope of planting 200 crops.

Issue: Scar's pathing when hanging out is buggy. Spaces that bipedal NPCs can easily navigate are difficult for Scar, so I've had to adjust some furnishings and such around the Valley. This is most notable when taking him into the Vitalys Mines, he gets stuck near the entrance and therefore won't proc any bonus drops if he's a Mining Companion.

Issue: When giving the cooked order in the Restaurant to an NPC and the NPC levels up, the screen does not go away and you are completely stuck in this screen without restarting the game.

Issue: No me aparece la última misión de Minnie para conseguir su vestido. Cuando comencé la misión de recolectar los materiales para el reloj, me dediqué a subir mi nivel de amistad con ella hasta el nivel 10 que es el máximo, cuando acabé la misión del reloj, no me apareció la misión del nivel 10. No sé que hacer, ya he reiniciado el juego varias veces y ya tengo a todos, excepto Eric, al máximo nivel.

I’m new, this is my first post I don’t really know where to post this but I’m hoping for help! After the scar update my memory shard for Pua finally came out of the desk only for me to get stuck on Moana’s final friendship quest. I got the shards, all the materials and crafted the Honored Place as instructed I placed and now she won’t do anything or recognize it. She keeps telling me to gather the materials for it

It’s strange that the dialogue says let’s go see your house but the NPC doesn’t go with you. You go to their house alone. The dialogue assumes that you both will go to their home.

Platform: Switch - half the time you can walk at the NPC’s and they’ll move out of your way, half the time they’re like rocks and won’t move. Make it one or the other. It’s really annoying when you’re mining with a buddy and they trap you against a rock and you can’t move. Then you have to stop hanging out with them, wait for them to move, and then chase them down to hang out with them again so you can continue on your way. I can’t do a single mining loop without getting trapped multiple times.

so when i go mining in the new mines, i get stuck in certain areas because the npc that i am using to mine with won’t move. i’m trapped and can’t get out of the mine currently. i’ve also found this being an issue with entering and exiting buildings.

Platform: PC - Steam. Issue - before the update, we were able to "push" characters. Basically, if we "ran into" them, they would be pushed out of the way. Since the patch, this no longer happens, and it is AWFUL. Please revert back. I got stuck in the mines because Kristoff was standing in front of me and refused to move. I just now watched one of the critter foxes I was chasing to feed get stuck running into Wall-E, who wouldn't move until I did, which reset the fox and I had to do the chasing all over again.

ISSUE: I was not allowed to choose any jobs for my characters at level 2. The screen would freeze on rewards until i clicked X then allow me to click the + to continue and automatically set ALL OF THEM to gardening.

I've noticed that Anna (Mining) is having a ton of problems interacting with the rock nodes and giving me a bonus piece. She's getting stuck on them quite frequently. I had this problem with Eric too but not with Scrooge. Scar is also on Mining but has only had one or two weird glitchy interactions with the rocks

This is truly the most minute bug but I’ve noticed that Eric’s hangout dialogue is switched around. So when I ask him to hang out he says “So long! Let me know when you want to go on another expedition!” and when I say bye to him, he says “Sure! I bet we can find an adventure or two.” I’d take a video but I think it would be too large of a file? Like I said super minute but kinda made me giggle nonetheless like he didn’t get it

Kristoff is an NPC that constantly has this issue. It has caused issues in houses and now in the mining area that just opened up. He is unable to be moved in small path areas. He has gotten me stuck opening doors so I have to hard quit the game. Now he is doing blocking me walking into my house if he is set to my follower. Leaving and coming in will not resolve it. I have to tell him to leave then pick him back up before he walks all the way out.

Issue: since the update i (sometimes) cannot move a NPC out of my way. For example my companion for gardening was standing on a gold spot, but i could not harvest it since they were standing on it and i could not push them to the side. I had to run away so that they follow me to make them move. Another instance was when a Mickey blocked me inside his own home by standing in front of the exit. I was really forced to stand there and wait until he moved.

After that, he turned around and had a standing pose but moved forward and around the corner, like he was sliding. He took a few steps, then posed and slid up the stairs.

Followers become either a rock or a hard place just waiting to trap you. Once they have you boxed- you're there until the game crashes (Switch) or you just give up (no one out lasts Elsa's cold shoulder) and quit the hang out session and hope they see something shiny and walk away so you can move again.

Issue: Item that is not fully added to the game yet appears as a favorite item of the day for characters. Item in question is a dish called "Futomaki'
I've looked and looked for this dish in my recipes and collection and despite numerous items having a similar name that ends in 'maki', no there is no 'Futomaki' dish in game yet
Am on most current patch the Scar update that was released on the 19th of October.
I thought this issue was resolved in this patch but it appears not.
Honestly if it wasn't for the fact Gothel gifting is a star path duty this wouldn't be all that annoying but it is. :/

I have this thing that whenever I get in buildings with Maui (probably because of how big he is compared to other characters) he just stands in front of the door way and I can't move from there. Issues with him showing as being in a location on the map but he’s not actually there. The biggest issue is it shows he is in his house but he’s not. After entering/exiting his house several times and still checking the map it’ll still show him as being inside his house but he is most definitely not there.

Update: He was located inside Chez Remy even though the map still shows him as being inside his house.

Donald is literally having non-stop train tantrums in my game. One step and he falls over again. This is way worse than it was before the update. I thought he was going to be better? I'm on PC.

Anybody else having the same issue where Scar is having trouble following you when you are hanging out with them? I have the mining trait and sometimes he will either get stuck in a spot or go to his home and stay there for a bit. I checked and it would still say I'm hanging out with him.

Sometimes the NPC become un-moveable. This is an issue in 2 instances for me.

The NPC is clutching while mining and I try to move them so they can complete the action and I can't. Usually have to restart to fix.
I've entered a space that only has one exit and I can't move past them so I'm then stuck and either have to wait for them to decide to move or restart.

Issue: Characters can not be pushed or moved, I can not enter houses (theirs or mine) or pass through narrow walkways when they decide to stop. Prior to the patch I could push anyone out of the way. After 10/19 I can't push anyone. Whether or not they're following - I went to visit Minnie and she appeared in the doorway, I couldn't get past her. I had Christoph as a follower and tried to enter my house, he appeared inside the doorway and I couldn't get in to my own house!

Issue: Anna is doing the same thing as Moana in Kawaiikatie9's post. She's just standing by the wall, ready to get me something, glitching out horribly. I've also noticed that Anna in general is kinda glitchy. When you talk to her, her character jumps backwards sometimes even if it's in a bunch of rocks. So she gets stuck a lot
EDIT: Also. I noticed that it's this spot specifically for me. I went back to this spot and she glitched out again

Pathfinding on Scar is not great. He gets stuck a lot. He will usually get stuck on fences, rocks and other objects.

Questing issues with certain NPCs when they need to talk to each other. I got stuck on the quest where Remy needed to speak to Scar and also the quest where Ariel and Eric needed to speak to each other.

I've found that telling them I don't want to hang out anymore fixes it as they go to head home afterwards and when you're free you can just tell them you want to hang out again. This also happens sometimes with Maui for me as well, but mostly Scar in the new mine.

When mining, after the rock breaks, I try to move out of the way very quickly so they can’t block me in. If that doesn’t work, I teleport to a well. Maui is the worst at becoming a brick wall. But I have Remy as a miner too and he’s too small to block me in, so I’m using him for mining now.

Issue: Minnie is as unmovable as a brick wall. Can’t enter anybody’s house when I’m hanging out with her because she blocks the doorway. Other villagers don’t seem to have this problem, even when they’re bigger sized than her. Ideally we should be able to push all villagers out of our way regardless of their size since they’ll always be blocking the doorway.

Issue: I know others have mentioned this but there are no favorite gifts of the day for anyone. This is extra important right now because there is a star path quest to give 10 favorite gifts for 35 pumpkins and that’s a huge amount! This needs to be a high priority to fix along with the other issues in the upcoming hotfix.

Updated: I logged in today and I have favorite items right now. There was no update so I’m not sure if this issue will be hit-or-miss. Just going to try to finish that star path quest today.

If it matters I have had this happen to me too a few times. Turns out, another villager was on the way to try to initiate a special conversation with them. Once they came over and started talking to each other, I could even interrupt them by talking to the villager I wanted again and then they would hang out with me. So I guess it's just a weird quirk or something.

When I am mining two areas in the glad of trust the NPCs glitch. Any selected mining buddy. I learned if I push them from the mining spot it fixes it. But it only happenes to the left and right mining spots coming from dazzle Beach stairs.

I tried leaving and coming back in several times, and I tried taking a picture to get him to move, but it doesn't help, so the only way would be to stop hanging out with him. Issue: Goofy not vocal as much anymore. Goofy doesn't seem as vocal in this update. The other characters seem to have regular speech but he seems to not be as vocal as much anymore. I actually tried reinstalling to see if it would make him be more vocal again but it didn't help. Please fix Goofy I miss him exclaiming stuff randomly 😦

Issue: I've seen a few other people post this, but I'm having issues with certain characters becoming immovable while adventuring. I thought it was only happening with certain characters (Mickey, Scar, Maui) but just now I was adventuring with Elsa as a companion and I could push her out of the way until I went into my house with her.. and then she was standing in the doorway and I couldn't push past her. Not sure what's causing this issue but it makes it really hard to adventure with companions. (Especially in places like the mines....)
*Secondary issue: I had to dismiss Maui because I was stuck at a dead end (while he mockingly flexed at me...) and then I went to leave the mine and he's blocking the way (pressing exit ended up with me glitching like this, I had to force quit game)

Kristoff will not spawn to his stall, instead I need to wait him run towards whenever he from (his stall at my Plaza) and sometimes he got stuck hence I can't buy anything from him. Unlike Goofy who spawn and disappear as soon as I exit. Sometimes Kristoff didn't even appear just make sound at background as I make my purchase.

When mining characters continually end up trapping me. When it's somewhere like the mines where i can't use the map to move, I have to reload the game. Finishing hanging out doesn't always work, especially with Maui as he just started dancing or flexing or stands there still in the way. And Scar...just always in my way and end up taking to him instead of anything I'm actually trying to do so I don't have him follow me around anymore.

Issue: Group photos (ones that come from completing a quest item and setting it up for a big celebration photo) never turn out well. All the NPCS are in terrible places for the picture to be taken and you can't move yourself either to make room. It's also not clear where to place the ending quest item for the best view. The one I've just completed is Moana's 10th level quest, but this has happened for other quests like it too. Behind Maui in this pic is Ana and Mickey. I lucked out that there's no furniture or trees in the way, but there should be a feature added to be able to move everyone to make them visible or at least be able to move the quest item and retake the group photo

Issue: NPCs trapping me. I don't have a picture unfortunately. There was one instance where maui got me trapped between the stairs to the frozen realm and the wall. And then Anna trapped me between some trees and rocks in her door realm. Maui was hanging out with me at the time so to get out of the trap with maui I just had to tell him goodbye. But Anna was following me trying to find her sister and I just could not escape so I had to close the game and go back to her realm.

Mining buddies getting stuck on the nodes and vibrating seems to be getting worse. I have two new glitch nodes: the one on the corner in the glade as you come up the ramp from the beach, and the one on that left hand wall looking over the beach. But on almost every node my buddy pulses a couple times before finally stooping to grab the extra item.

whenever i am hanging out with a character, if i go in my house or someone elses house, there have been a lot of instances, (Maui is all of the time, i cant take him with me in a house) where they trap you at the door and you can go any further. I have to leave the house, tell them we will hang out later, then reenter.

Scar’s hotfix has rendered him unable to take food at remy, if you havent had his introduction questline finished.

I can't get them to move and I can't get around them. That's because for lvl 10 villager friendship items you also need to complete their lvl 10 friendship quest.
Every other item you can get from villagers without doing any of their quests.
If you have not completed that quest do so and you will get his hat.
The quest you're looking for should be called ||The Final Trial|| if I got my information correct here ❤️

Bear in mind the two characters (spoilered just in case) ||Wall-e|| and ||Minnie|| do NOT have their lvl 10 quests programed in yet. So those items are not able to be unlocked by normal means yet. ||You can however if you're very lucky get Minnie's reward from a clothing bag. But it's not intentional. Unsure if Wall-e's lvl 10 item can be claimed in a similar fashion||

Mods I am begging you to do something about Donald Duck. Listening to him is torture and I end up having to mute the game for 15+ minutes (and counting right now). He goes off over and over and over again while I’m cooking, he seems to be anywhere I am on the map. Constantly listening to his horrible tantrums. I’m losing my actual mind. Please, please fix this. I actually can’t take it anymore. I know it sounds dramatic but it is so unbelievably obnoxious it sucks all the joy out of the moment in the game.

Platform: PS5 Issue: Immovable NPCs. The NPC's don't move when you push them, often leaving you stuck in places waiting for them to move or forcing you to quit and restart. Also Donald's tantrums are much, much more frequent on this system as well.

Issue: The random conversation Scar can have with Merlin is bugged. I only saw the ending, but during it, Merlin says, "If anyone here is a" just like that and doesn't finish. Then when it's over, Scar just kind of slides away instead of walking. I only wish I had it recorded.

I’m on Xbox one and ever since the update my buddies have gotten worse about just suddenly being unable to move them. They stand in my way and there’s nothing I can do to move them. It’s absolutely infuriating. I’ll be in the middle of harvesting my veggies and suddenly my gardening buddy will turn to stone, right where I’m trying to harvest and they will not move out of the way. All I can do is tell them we’ll hand out another time and find a different buddy to help (which is a massive waste of time, when time is limited as it is) or just keep going without a buddy, missing out on a bunch of extra veggies I need.

I’l It’s done this since the beginning, but it’s SOOO much worse now. I check Anna before I use her and she’s fine, then the second she’s in the way, she no longer gets out of my way. I just got rid of her for the fourth time and I’ll just be harvesting on my own this evening. This is ridiculous and it shouldn’t be this frustrating and angering to do something as simple as harvesting the food I planted.

Gave Anna her requested meal and the “cancel/give” screen got stuck there. No options to do anything else so I had to force-close the game and try again. Thankfully, no data was lost.

Ensure you complete all of her friendship quests. The extra requirement to unlock everyone's lvl 10 friendship item is to complete their final lvl 10 quest too.
Anna's final friendship quest is called ||Do you wanna build a Snowman?|| And yes I'm not kidding I'm quite certain that's what it's called XD

Note for future reference there are two characters in game that currently do NOT have their Lvl 10 quests added in game yet. Those characters are ||Wall-E|| and ||Minnie||. Unless you manage to get lucky and get their rewards by a rare alternative but unintended means, such as Item bag drops; you cannot get their Lvl 10 items yet

Characters talk about the rain/snow even when it isn't raining or snowing. Minnie mouse says "oh, the flowers will love this rain." Elsa says something about how it's snowing, but the cold never bothered her. Anyway. I don't exactly remember. Goofy says something about fish and rain, I don't remember that quote either.

Additionally, ||kristoff talks about Anna even when he is supposed to have forgotten her. The only exact quote that I remember is "you must know Anna." I don't remember if he has any other incorrect quotes.||

Issue: I made a patch of holes for some crops, and in the same spot (in video) both mickey and merlin have gotten stuck and wont budge at all, when i first noticed mickey there i pushed him out of that spot but he went right back (didnt get that on recording) and then i wasnt able to push him, both times i did have them be a companion and teleport to a well to get them unstuck (also i have music on in the background sorry for that)

Issue: every single NPC I use as a buddy becomes 100% immovable by the time I get the biome I need my buddy for, making it nearly impossible to get done what I need to get done. They also block me in buildings, in corners (like the back and middle tables at Remy’s, and his kitchen, just for examples), which I can only get out of by rebooting my game. Traveling through my wells no longer fixes the issue. I go through all of my buddies until they “turn to marble” and then once I’m out of buddies for that task, I have to just reboot my entire Xbox.

Minnie will also make@it so I have to completely reboot my Xbox when I serve her at Remy’s, when giving her her food. The screen to give her her food or not just stays open and I cannot get out of it. It caused me to lose coal, plus all the food, plus one of the customers, this last time it happened about an hour and a half ago. I shouldn’t lose my coal AND the food I used to make the food.

She ended up levelling up to 10 while I was still doing her level 8 quest and now that I’ve completed it she won’t talk to me about her final quest.

Moana companion stopped in the entrance to the kitchen in Chez Remy. I can’t push her to move her, she wont follow me into the kitchen so I can’t move her that way, and there’s no space to go past her. Since you cant access the map while inside, the only option was to say bye and wait for her to move.

Characters often say "bye," when you ask them to hang out, or when you talk to them while you're hanging out with them.

Also, I heard that Ariel says "I'm so glad Eric is here," even when Eric is not here. I'm inclined to believe it because Kristoff talks about Anna when he is supposed to have forgotten her

Hit level 10 on practically everyone at this point (Last one I have working is Eric at 9). Some NPCs, like Minnie (off the top of my head) showed a quest with an item, and the Quest bubble popped up over her head. Back to regular play and she doesn't have a quest. Do some NPCs not have their lv10 quests ready yet?

I keep having recurring issues where when I have a companion for any gathering type, they won't move when I try to push them. It's caused me to get stuck in the entrance of my house (due to items being aligned with the doorway), stuck in a corner where a mining spot is located (Maui is huge and when immovable becomes very problematic), and the bug where companions glitch like a woodpecker when trying to get a bonus item for a mining spot, I can't move them to make it stop so they're permanently stuck (Wall-e strobing near a cleared mining rock).

Platform: Switch and PC I’m also having the issue where the npc will become unmovable while hanging out. It happens with all of the characters and they are always trapping me (in the mines, in Scrooge’s store, in my house entrance, in corners). I then have to dismiss them and wait for them to wander away before I can get un trapped.

The other issue I’m having is with my gardening buddies. Mickey, Minnie, and Wall-E have all gotten very aggressive with running to be right in front of me and directly on top of the plant when it hits the golden bonus harvest to the point that the button triggers a conversation with them and then the bonus is lost completely. Then add in the unmovable issue, they run and stand on the bonus crop and you can not move them off of it at all.

Anna went findom on me. The option to hang out went missing. All I can do is give her gifts.
I suspect what happened is that the game hibernated when we were hanging out, then when I started the game she was no longer my companion so I couldn't ask her to join, but she also wasn't not my companion so I couldn't ask her to leave.

Not a bug. Minnie's lvl 10 friendship quest, which is required to unlock her lvl 10 reward like all the other characters, has not been implemented in the game yet at this time. Same goes for Wall-E as well.
At this time though unintended, the only way to get those lvl 10 rewards right now is through a lucky clothing bag drop. Unless that has been patched which is likely.

Xbox game pass: mickey was hanging out and every so often he would freeze. I had to end the “hang out” and restart it. I’ve had issues with my companion freezing as well. Mainly it seems when they are near the edge of the map or area.

Issue: Maui can block your path. For some reason he cannot be pushed out of the way like other NPCs anymore and will block your path causing you to get stuck into places. I was hanging out with him and he blocked me from getting into my house. He didn't have this issue before which is weird but all of a sudden today I cannot move him out of the way like the other villagers. In the clip I tested to see if I could still move Wall-E for example and I could. Maui just won't budge.
EDIT: would like to note this persisted even after telling him goodbye and restarting my game. he's immovable even when wandering the village on his own

Issue: NPC as your buddy you are unable to move them around by force this becomes quiet inconvenient in tight or small spaces. We do not see this issue when they are doing their own things in the village only when they are hanging out with you. To fix this you must teleporting to another spot on the map or in this case seen in video you must save and exit.

Eric’s blueprints : PC -Is anyone else buying blueprints from Eric and getting repeats? Is there not a way to see what we are buying? Pics show 2 new today, grayed out one is already in my crafting so now there’s 2 helm bookshelves? One takes 20 fabric the other iron ingots and dark wood, they look the same are they?

Platform: PC Steam. when going in the side rooms inside my house, the npc blocks the door and prevents my character from exiting the room, causing them to just keep walking in place with no way to stop trying to get the out the door. I end up having to force close and restart.

Switch.
Possibly a precursor to crashing, sometimes I can't push characters out of the way. Maui blocked me into a corner while we were mining & kept flexing on me. It was super inappropriate. I had to restart the game & that fixed it. This happened with Mickey as well once where I couldn't push him.

Maui gave a goodbye response after asking to hang out. He was sitting at Remy's table.

PC lagging. Will load just fine when starting up, but after clicking continue the game lags so much it's almost impossible to play. Has been this way for a few days for me. I have restarted the PC, made sure everything was up to date, and kept the PC off with no luck.

Hanging out with Moana after hanging out with Goofy. But goofy keeps following me as if we’re hanging out. As does Moana who I’m actually hanging out with. It’s really annoying…

Xbox One:

I had one incident yesterday where I went to talk to Elsa and when she greeted me the conversation didn't move forward. Time just stopped but I was still able to look around. I just couldn't exit out of it so I ended up just reloading the game.

Also, many npc(s) still fish backwards. It's kinda cute though, not gonna lie.

Eric has been glitching a lot lately. I was hanging out with him and he was stuck in one spot and stuttering with his animation.

Also, his dialogue when you ask to hang out is backwards. He says “So long!” when you say “let’s hang out” and says “Sure! I’m sure we can find an adventure or two” when you say “Bye, let’s hang out later”

Issue: NPC's that are set to have the mining attribute will glitch at certain mining locations when they go to "pick up" an extra item. They get stuck in a loop of bending over and then standing up, I have to push them away from the rock for them to finish their animation. (Will post a clip when I figure out how too).

Issue:
Ariel keeps getting trapped under this rock, if you try to go to visit your place. Ariel doesn't show up.

Follow up, mining characters I found 3 glitch spots. 2 in trust Glade and 1 in valor forest. When you go to mine with a friend, they go to touch a pick it up. They get stuck in a jerky motion until you change locations or enter loading screen.

Merlin disappeared as I was asking him to hang out. Stayed invisible while I was foraging for a while, but was giving me the foraged items.
