I haven't seen anyone else complain about this.. but having spoken to my friend she thought the same thing. The new mine makes me feel quite nauseated whilst walking round it. It's something to do with the camera angles and panning or something. Everything's all too close and camera swinging around to see.

Anyone else?

It doesn’t make me nauseated, but I also thought the same thing earlier that it feels too close/hard to see. I also kept getting lost lol

Edit: I’m having the same issue with the new gems and also the rich soil. Comforting to see that it seems to be across the board, but sad it’s a new bug.

Issue: Its a really tiny glitch but I thought it would be worth noting, I've only seen this happen with Merlin, I tasked him with mining, since the update but sometimes he'll approach the ore vein/rock thingy you're mining to and pick up an item and he'll just sort of jiggle against it. I have to mess around and nudge him about until he unsticks himself to pick up the item. Not sure if anyone is getting this, its more funny than anything but still figured it was worth noting.

In the Villain’s Star Path, a duty is asking for 5 Shiny Aquamarines. How do I earn them when the only way I know of to get them is to have a mining buddy gift them? Been mining and receiving, but the gems are not getting registered.

Platform: PS4 have they changed the spawn for iron? I normally get a few bits or iron in Frozen Heights and Sunlit Plateau. I checked my collections and I can't tell if this is a bug or not because it lists the Glade and Forrest twice

I’m getting this too on switch. Going into a house fixes the issue and the item is still given. I’ve had it with both Eric and kristoff. Certain veins seem to do it more than others. I’ve noticed this after the update.

Issue: Cannot seem to get Shiny Aquamarines.
I don’t know if I’m just having bad spawn rates, but I cannot get shiny aquamarines for my star path. I keep getting regular aquamarines as well as both variants of other available gems. Since I’ve gotten this specific quest, I have not found a single shiny aquamarine.
Some rock spots only give me 1 or two rocks/coal after hitting em like 10 times.

Issue: I get blocked by Character (Kristoff & Maui) when mining in Forest of Valor and Vitalys Mine. I have to teleport out because they won't budge. Also, same issue with others, new gems not registering and the drop rate on Shiny gems is ridiculously low for this Star Path quest.

Characters get stuck navigating the mines. I have 3 miners (Maui, Scrooge, and Scar) and they all get stuck at different parts of the mine.

Issue: I was mining for iron ore with Kristoff in the Glade when one of the deposits from the mining rock landed inside the border rock and became inaccessible for me to pick up.

Issue: Mining with Scar and he's blocking me from being able to move at all. The discord bot won't let me submit the photo

Certain mining spots will cause mining buddies to flash and twitch erratically. The only way they stop is when you start mining at a normally functioning mining spot. This is likely to cause seizures so it needs to be sorted with the hot fix ideally.

Since this message I’ve found two shiny aquamarines. (Technically more but ones given from companion don’t register for Star path)
It still takes me multiple rounds of mining beach and forest before I get one. Somehow its rate of spawn got lowered substantially… way more than it should be. Regular gems come often enough but I get more shinies of other gems before I even get one shiny aquamarine.

Only unstuck when push away or after start fishing to teleport them.

Iron nodes in the Glade and the Forest are not respawning, even nearly 24 hours later after last mined from. (This happened around the same time as being unable to harvest any forageable-plants.)

I've had issues where some gems ended up turning into different ones. Not sure if anyone is having this issue. I would mine and a aquamarine will drop, but when I pick it up it ends up being a emerald or something instead. This was really bothering me on a few of the Halloween quests that needed specific gems but was dropping me ones that wernt even in the area and were the wrong ones when picked up

I've noticed the mining buddy NPC's getting stuck on things. They tend to get stuck on the rock I'm mining and glitch out until I physically push them with my character so they can pick up the extra mineral.

Along with the many other serious game impeding issues I'm having today, close to none of the mining spots are respawning. It started when I connected to the cloud and updated my game today, and now the only spots open were the ones that had gems in them. I have the swamp, forest, plateau, and beach all unlocked but in total only like 3 or 4 mining spots that sometimes respawn and only with minerals, no gems.

Issue: Sometimes, when a rock spot shows the gemstone before mining (when it’s I’m imbedded), the gem that I end up mining will not match the color shown. For example, when going to a rock spot that shows peridot, I will end up getting garnet instead.

This may be known, so sorry if it is 🙂 When mining in the glade with a companion they always seem to glitch at the rock on the far side when they go to give you your little extra - tried to take photos today but couldn’t, shall try record it tomorrow 🙂 I always have to push them away from it for it to stop glitching & for them to cooperate again.

Was mining in Vitalys Mines with Wall-E and the extra Sapphire received from Wall-E flew into the wall, making it impossible to retrieve. Same thing happened when digging up a spot in Forgotten Lands, the night shard is stuck in a piece of terrain.

Platform: Switch - when I got to mine and the mining spot on dazzle beach by the ramp that leads to the glades, the one which is tucked into the corner. Scar as my mining companion climbs the ramp into the glades above the mining spot and tries to retrieve a gem from there. He then gets stuck for a while and eventually after I mine the other 2 spots on dazzle beach he gives me all the finds by the stairs as he bounds over.

Platform: Xbox. Since the update I’ve noticed that mining companions get stuck on ore spots (and will keep glitching there until being pushed) much more frequently. I used to only have a problem with the one ore spot in the Glade, but now companions will glitch on ore spots in other biomes, too.

When mining, when the character following me tries to pick up an additional item it glitches and flashes back and forth and is stuck, unable to pick up or move at all unless I stop hanging out with them. This happens on two specific rocks in the Glade of Trust as well as the one behind Merlin's house.

Uncle scrooge and Scar (my mining characters) "glitch when going to rock to "mine" reward - happens more often in the Glade area, but also Scar blocks passage in cave mining. i actually disengaged the "hang out" mode, and he walked a couple of spaces an laid down so I couldnt get past him

Xbox Game Pass - PC: This has been posted several times in here but in the Glade of Trust, when you mine, the mining companion glitches out. I posted the two pictures of where it happens with the top one happening more often than the other one, but the other will rarely glitch too.

Issue: I’ve noticed that in the recent weeks, my mining drop rates have been greatly reduced. I’m not getting gems nearly as much as I used to, and the total hit number for the rock spots are almost never more than three now. It’s made certain quests/duties especially difficult now.

Issue: NPC glitch at rock nodes, PC can move NPC to fix glitch... Only seems to occur after playing for extended periods or entering multiple locations in a short time span.

Hard to mine with both of my mining buddies (Maui & Elsa) they continue to get stuck and just glitch out at the rocks. Have to keep pushing them away to get them unstuck. I stopped even using Maui because he was just too hard to get unstuck.

I have this problem, too; occasionally, when I can’t get the unstuck (I have Maui, Scar & Scrooge), i go on to the next rock and the catch up (with the bonus item for both the one I hit when they got stuck and the new rock I just hit.)

Issue: Haven't had a shiny sapphire spawn at all since the scar update/addition of Vitalys mines. I recall potentially getting one spawn the first day it released and have since collected all other gems. But no matter how many times I go through the mines I have no had one shiny sapphire spawn

Not sure where this is applicable - Xbox series s - when mining with a buddy the buddy still freezes until you run into them and push them away when they try to get you their gems. Happens a lot in glade of trust and the far corner below where you can see the sunlit plat in the peaceful meadow. Sometimes cant move the buddy and have to continue until they somehow unglitch. It’s also a nightmare when you get trapped by them when mining, even more so in the cave

Platform: PC Less a true bug and more a balance issue. I'm having the darndest time getting topazes. The only region is the Plaza, and garnets drop at what seems to be about 4x the rate of topazes of late. The only 2 I got for fairly continuous mining for the last 1 hour came from a 'red explosion' timed event. 10 garnets in the meanwhile, and those are in two regions. (note: this is just Plaza mining)

Issue: Anna and Kristoff are my mining buddies and continually get stuck glitching at mining spots. I can talk to them to stop hanging out, but if I hang out with them again, they make a beeline for the glitched mining spot and glitch again until I stop them again. Happens mostly in the forest and glade.

I have the same issue. It is more common when I am mining in the glade and the forest. I keep having to tell them to stop hanging out wait for them to move away from the spot where they are glitching and ask them to hang out again.

Platform: PC Recently have had this odd bug where once in a great while, while mining plaza nodes, the node will spit out a softwood, and sometimes very far away.

PC/Steam: after changing the time back and forth once, because the sunstone fragment wasn't spawning, even though it was night, the rock spots on dazzle beach and forest of valor aren't respawning.

Issue: when mining with Maui who is assigned to the mining task I get trapped by Maui between the wall rock and Maui unable to move Maui out of the way. I have to either stop Maui from following me and wait to for him to leave or travel to a wishing well to escape.

I have seen this too with my mining buddies as well - you just have to "kick" them out of the way but it does get annoying and so I end up not using a mining buddy.

I have the same issue with my mining buddies a lot. They are able to complete the animation if you push them away from the rock while they are glitching.

Kristof is always glitching on this rock. 😂 sometimes when I talk to him he will stop glitching but not this time. Platform is Xbox.

Platform: Switch Can’t get around my mining partner Eric in the mines at the rock on the opposite side of the mine entrance. I have to stop hanging out with him and wait for him to move. Happened with Anna as well in the same spot.
