Just noting that the recipe for root beer for the quest seems to be slightly bugged; specifically the ginger required for the recipe shows as not being in your inventory if you choose the recipe and try to use the autofill option (it marks it as missing ingredients and says you have 0 ginger, even when you clearly have the ginger available in your bag). The recipe can be cooked if you add the ingredients manually and does register just fine for the quest though

Not getting credit for the Rootbeer receipe

Randomly guessed the correct recipe for Root Beer and it doesn't unlock in the menu. Made it a few times.

I made normal root beer which the game recognized. But the quest still states to make extra fizzy root beer with no option at the cooking station to actually make it.

Just saw a YouTube video about this. Did you use the dried ginger in the cooking menus quest ingredient tab to make the extra fizzy root beer?

Someone replied to another comment but to make sure you see it;
there's a translation error in the German version. You need to use Corn, not Sugar, Mais anstatt Zucker

Issue: When i'm making a big batch of pumpkin puffs, sometimes the screen will freeze on the pot (no cooking options show up) and i have to wait several minutes before i can do anything or i have to restart the game.

Is that regular ginger or dried ginger? They look the same but dried ginger is used to make extra fizzy root beer. For the root beer recipe it needs normal ginger

If already know about delete. I was having problems locating information about this but since the update my restaurant customers don’t request a meal. Is this bugged or did they change it? I have several characters now that the restaurant and talking to them was how I’m able to increase their level as the favorite items of the day are often missing for me too. So idk if they know about this or if I’m supposed to do something? 😂

Play on PlayStation 4 not sure this is the right spot but has anyone else noticed or been told what to do about the at least 3 favorite gift foods that aren’t in the recipes? I have had characters say they want grilled eel, strawberry pie and futomaki. Thanks for any help if possible.

I noticed that the devs got rid of or is glitching somehow on the animation for cooking. Before my player seemed happy and did an animation. Now she just stands there depressed lolz. Anyone want this back?

after update i have only seen a few request for food, mostly from merlin but im not too worried since nearly everyone is maxed out for me aside from a few but they should be maxed out soon

I lnow. And I also had the recipes. I just had to select them Manually.
But still, it's a bug as they should show up in the quest part of the cooking menu.

Same here. You can get it up by placing a well ontop of it, but once down, it can 't be targeted in furniture mode

I have the same issue but I have only seen them requesting food when I have the item they want already in my inventory. I got lucky those times.

Platform: ps5 Issue: auto fill has never worked. I’m a maxed level 40. On the game since the beginning. Made crudités 5 times and a tomato soup but cannot seem to make grilled vegetables

Issue: Auto-fill recipe sometimes makes a different recipe. It appears that if a recipe has wildcards (e.g. "any veg"), if auto-fill chooses veg that make something specific, you get that instead. It should default to ingredients that make what you've selected.

Update: I figured it out I did not have sugar cane so it was using cocoa beans for the sugar

When you have a cooking quest and recipes opened from your inventory, you should be able to see them in the quest tab of the cooking inventory?

Issue: Volcanic Stove (Scar's level 10 reward) does not record items cooked towards Dreamlight Duties or Cooking tallies.

Issue: while trying to cook the item "leckerer Salat" (1 Salad, 1 cucumber and 2 veggies) you never get "leckerer Salat" but instead "deftiger Salat" (1 Salad, 2 veggies)
Tried many different combinations but never got it.

PS5: I placed a volcanic stove in the Forgotten Lands and nothing I cook on it registers for Dreamlight Tasks.

Issue: I'm not sure if this is a cooking issue, an NPC Issue, or a Star Path issue, but I'll put it here. Whenever I go into Remy's, none of the characters there have orders, meaning I cannot complete the Star Path duty for serving customers in the restaurant.

(i know i used a blueberry when it was a red fruit but it still shouldn't make crackers)

Problem: Gave Kristoff Veggie Pasta for his restaurant meal and it gave it to him but the prompt to give the meal to him would not go away and I had to force close the game.

Issue: Getting a game notification on the Dreamlight Duty list cook meals but the counter has been stuck on 861/900 for at least a day. Just finished cooking 35 Grilled Veggie Platter and no change to the counter. This does occasionally happen in other Dreamlight Duty categories

Trying to use either of the recipe books given by Remy causes the player to to perform an animation, however the camera locks in place and there is no acknowledgment of the recipe being learned.

My game doesn't seem to recognize that I have coal. I first noticed it in Frozen realm working with Anna. I've tried multiple cooking stations and I can't cook ANYTHING bc the game isn't recognizing I have coal!

For the last day or so, all of my stoves give a recipe warning about no more than five ingredients. I'm simply auto filling five star meals, everything fine, and it still shows up.

Issue: Selected a recipe, and then the game basically froze. My character was still moving but the cooking interface disappeared. I was stuck like this no matter what button I pressed. Has to close and re-open the game. This happened shortly after restarting from a crash.

Had the same issue on the same console. Sometimes it would unfreeze if I gave it a minute, otherwise restarting the game as well.

Cant cook - item hits the side of the pot and disappears. It wont allow me to cook ANYTHING

Issue:Anna has futomaki as one of her daily favorites, but when I tried to look for the recipe on the recipe page it isn’t there, I looked online and it seems to just be nonexistent so I’m very confused.

Bruh!! Same on Xbox Game Pass all of a sudden! It's happening now and it's annoying! I got a ton of the stuff. If I put any more than 1 item in the pot it doesn't recognise my coal. I've made recipes from looking them up online with knowing the actual recipe in game and it's worked before. Try and make pumpkin soup now and all of a sudden, nup!
