My wife plays through steam and she still hasn’t received the 8,000 moonstone she was supposed to get from the beginning. We thought it’d be fixed this morning with the update but she still hasn’t received it. Are they working on this?

Issue: I haven't received Epic's founders pack rewards, so I have barely no moonstones in the platform. Like others, I was hoping the update would have made a difference, but no luck.

The tab looks like this but it may take a bit of playing to get it unlocked. I can't remember exactly when it showed up for me. Suddenly it was just there. Keep checking as you advance and try feeding some of the rabbits.

I submitted a ticket about this issue on October 7, 2022 on the website with no response, I thought it might be fixed with this update but it hasn't been, so I'm also posting my issue here as well-

@rapid wolf Unfortunately she'll have to buy the Deluxe Edition on a different platform to get the items but PS5 is the only platform to not yet cross share cloud saves so she won't be able to play her save from PS5 if she buys it on another platform. It's a mess.
Wow that's complicated. Doesn't seem I can get a refund for the deluxe upgrade in playstation store either, so it's an expensive mess!
@rapid wolf I got a refund from Steam from buying the Deluxe Edition on top of my Ultimate Edition which broke my game so it can't go online. Sadly Steam removing it didn't fix it for me. (Steam allows you to buy more than one Founders Edition by mistake) so I would give it a shot, as long as you explain your situation to Sony Customer Support.
Sony only processes refunds through their online "refund bot" which is always unavailable (bot's day off?) and refuses refunds if you've downloaded the game. Not as customer-friendly as Steam, unfortunately, and no means to raise the case with a person.

Issue: I lost 8000 moonstones !!! So I first started playing on the switch, but a few days later I logged on the PC instead because it crashed so much that I couldnt play. I did not buy the premium star path, and did not use the moonstones. But they all disappeared and im only left with the ones I earned myself.
Anyone else feeling super bummed that after all of this waiting for the update, they still don’t have their founders pack items?
I’m on the Switch, paid for ultimate edition but only have base pack items. So no additional moonstones or items. Downloaded the update and nothing has changed

I (thought) I bought the Ultimate Pack and was missing the items like most everyone here is, but received the original 20,000 moonstones and have access to the customizable clothing.
However when I checked my credit card I saw I only paid for the FOUNDERS Pack. I went to pay for the Ultimate Pack but the Switch store thinks I already paid for everything so I can't.
I wrote a email back on Oct. 2nd but haven't received any word, so I'm hoping to get something here.

Yeah. It’s frustrating. I too purchased the ultimate edition on my switch and also purchased the base version on my pc. Nintendo don’t offer refunds which is another blow. Definitely haven’t got what I paid for, a waste of £65. Not only were the items missing but also the moonstones, so I wasn’t able to unlock the full star path and I’ve missed out on those items too. It’s a joke.
I get there’s been a whole bunch of issues to iron out but there’s so many people with the founders pack problems not getting what they’ve spent money on. It doesn’t look good. Plus there’s been minimal communication about it, apart from it being included in generic update announcements or patch notes.

Sent a message to gameloft over a month ago and they ignored everything but the first sentence of my message and have yet to respond again. Still missing founders pack items and upon update lost most of my items in my inventory.

Hey, I'm having problems with my mother's account on Switch. We share a switch and I bought the Ultimate Founder pack. I got my stuff, but I went to buy hers and it says already purchased. However, in game it's only giving her the base Founder pack but I did get my Ultimate. It won't let me pay to get her Ultimate.

Issue: I received my Ultimate Founder's Pack items some time ago and successfully claimed the rewards, as can be seen in the first screenshot. I purchased the premium star path for the Pixar event, and purchased a small amount of the Pixar star path currency, but have not purchased anything else. I am missing several thousand moonstones, as you can see in my second screenshot. I did switch computers between the end of the Pixar star path and now.

I still don’t understand how this in not a top priority! It is something I paid extra for expecting to receive all my purchased items. I only received items from the regular pack. I would like to see my purchased items and moonstones reflected in my game. I try emailing and I only get a sorry we are working on it but never any updates on when that might happen
All the people having issues with missing moonstones-they only show on the platform you bought the upgraded pack on. So I bought ultimate on switch so on that account I got all the moon stones. When I play on gamepass they don't show. Check where you originally purchased them and use to buy star path. Once you've bought it you can use cloud save to play on the other platform. Not saying this is the case for everyone but it might help some

Issue: I originally played on Xbox game pass, then played on PC (also gamepass) for a day and claimed the rewards there, I switched back to Xbox and the game crashed a half hour into playing because of the update (this was in September). All of the furniture is present, along with the crocodile pet (that doesn't work mind, it won't follow me) but all the moonstone and clothing rewards are gone. I've considered buying the game but after seeing how many other people are also experiencing issues receiving their rewards that disappeared, idk if it's even worth it. I no longer have a video/photo, but I mentioned this in another thread before this one was made.

Same problem here, all the founders pack moonstones are missing. I started on gamepass, then imported an avatar into steam founders pack edition. Feel penalized for purchasing the game. This should be considered the number one problem to be fixing, and it shouldn't have been archived yesterday, just so support can pretend they fixed some problems.
The mail over says the moonstones are only avalible on the platform u got the game. Im not familiar with «PC gamepass» but maybe u can see if they are there? Im gonna update my switch and see if i can get them there 🙄
I only bought the game in one place, steam. That is where the founders pack was marketed to contain the 8k moonstones
But I had gone back and forth a few times to check if that was the issue once, and all that did was make the moonstones go from 500 something (that I had earned) to 0
I just logged on my switch, and they actually was there. I would try to send them a mail (like the one over our messages)
The e-mail support just says they are working on the issue, and that is all they say for the last month+
They claim they can't fix any account errors, I dunno what support they offer
I messaged support forever ago about missing moonstones, and they haven't responded with ANYTHING and now it's happening to a bunch more people.

Last week I decided I wanted to be able to play that same save on my Switch so I bought the Standard Edition. I was able to sync my cloud save to my Switch, but I did not receive my 8000 moonstones on the Switch.

All 4 of my kids are also missing their founder pack 8,000 moon stones and scared they wont get the plushy critter from the new event. I am also missing my founder pack moon stones. I have the ones from starting in the first few days of launch but not the 8,000 from the founder pack
thank you so much for posting in detail. my kids just tried logging in on the Xbox where they started on game pass and was able to unlock and get the things they wanted. its weird they are glitching to the star platform like that and not staying with the account.
My understanding is that the moonstones stay with the platform they are bought on (that’s why I still have a lot of moonstones on my PC), but other items transfer from platform to platform. I’m glad your kids were able to get their stuff!

I have exactly the same problem, I'm on the same platform as you and I also hesitate to buy the game but I'm waiting to receive the email, I even hesitate to buy it on epic game because it remains saved in the cloud anyway, how long did it take for your rewards to arrive?
Really sucks I can't get the battle pass because I'm just missing my moonstones, I'll live but I really hope they fix this soon
i brough basic pack on steam purchase pixar pass then rest of moonstones dissapeared lucky the pixar pass and blue chests gave me sufficent moonstones for new villians pass. and af few non- premium duties on viallians pass i have to complete to get sufficent for premium
The rewards from gamepass were there within a week. Can't tell you when because I didn't know I even had them. Then after they disappeared I still have not had them replaced.

What's the deal with no response to support requests on this? Even a canned 'we're aware of this issue and will get back to you as soon as we know more' would at least make me feel like I was in a queue, instead it feels like I sent the form into a black hole. Doesn't inspire confidence. The auto-reply I got day of said not to submit multiple requests but like, you do realize that's why people are sending in multiples?? Just acknowledge us.

XBox Game Pass on PC and Switch
Tried the game on Game Pass in the first week with the "free" Founders Pack Version. Was able to claim that rewards right away. Loved the game so much and decided to purchase the ultimate founder pack version on Switch a few days after and logged in with the cloud save I created from the Game Pass. Sadly I seem to not be able to get the items from the ultimate pack I purchased. But because I already played so much on Switch I am also not able to refund the game on that platform. So currently I payed a lot for just playing on another platform without getting the extra rewards.
Hoped it would get resolved with the last Update, but still no change. Sadly I can not look at my Player ID right now, because I also got a save issue which keeps me at the menu choosing local or cloud save.
Had every quest available before the update and the first star path completed and my and all villagers levels maxed out. Would hate to start over and also loose the rewards from Game Pass and first week player rewards...
It is really a bummer, because I love this game so much.
this. it seems people are getting the same kinda response via email with no actual solution, and there has been no communication or update in here despite so many of us having these issues. even an announcement post-update that they're still aware there is an issue just out of courtesy. personally i'm starting to feel like i'm never going to get what i paid for with no way of getting a refund due to nintendo not refunding. for those of us who haven't received the moonstones we missed out on the full star path for pixar fest and again are missing out on the new one.

Issue: Blue moon currency discrepancy
I've been playing DDV on my PC through gamepass and backed up to a cloud save. Decided I wanted the ultimate version on switch (in case I want to cancel gamepass) so went ahead and got that, connected to my cloud save/account, thought everything was okay. Went to check the event on PC and noticed the 20k blue moons were not there. Went back to check on Switch (opened the local save) and they were there. I'm afraid to make any progress on PC should that save overwrite and make those blue moons disappear. Redeemed some blue moons for event pumpkins/currency and redeemed those for items (on switch). Those items appear on PC & the event is updated accurately to what items I got but blue moons are still not the same on both devices? Not sure if this is intentional but figured it was better to ask/put this out there 🙂
I’m giving them just a little while longer but I’ll be doing the same. It’s been 1 1/2 months since i purchased the ultimate pack and my kid just wants her stuff.

Yep. Put in a case on September 10. It's been pretty frustrating, it was a birthday present for my daughter and she hasn't been able to enjoy the rewards. She has played the game and is enjoying it but she really wanted the pet fox, and all the outfits and furniture.

When I want to take the items in the box it says " Something unexpected happened, try again later "but what I do not understand, I have the items in the inventory, why does not go away this icon above the box? Is it a bug? Will it go away in the next update or do I have to start the game over?

thats still unfair for people who didnt got what others got out of an exploitation bug so you are ok with down the line in free to play to pay for 8k from your money and the others dont? i dont but its fine if you do like to send money you wouldnt have to

No, I didn't say it was fine, but at least you paid for 20K moonstones that the pack said you would receive and that's what you got...you know, instead of nothing like others. If that's the case, maybe everyone should get additional moonstones due to that same glitch because we all paid something.

Some people got extra as they were lucky. That doesn't mean they have to give everyone the extra as long as they got what was advertised. If you went into a shop and the cashier didn't scan something and just put it in your bag by mistake, they wouldn't have to give away free items to everyone else to make it fair. Someone just got lucky.

I bought the ultimate edition where you get 20k moonstones but in the pixar pass it glitched out and I lost 16k moonstones and I've contacted the customer service but I still haven't got them back

That’s fine but can we at least have an update on this issue? So many people have not received what they have paid for. Multiple new posts a day with people having this problem. It feels like we’re being ignored with no response via email or in here. The update was supposed to fix this but it hasn’t, and it hasn’t even been addressed that the devs are aware the update didn’t fix it. It’s just frustrating, to the point it’s impacting our game play as we haven’t received the moonstones we are entitled to so we are unable to unlock the full star path which means we missed out on items from the previous one and now this one.

I may be wrong, but from my understanding moonstone's are specific to the platform you purchased the founder's pack on.

i have the same issue here. Im playing on nintendo switch and i got my 8000 moonstones in the beginning but a few days later i startet the game and the stones were gone! it was october 4. when i wrote the support and they replied 16 days later, saying "restart your game" .. ☹️ didnt worked unfortunatelly .. i mean.. i restartet the game by my own xD
Are they even reading these reports? I have been trying to get in contact with someone since 10/19 and no one will respond to my ticket. I'm really upset that I have paid $70 for nothing. It's been 7 weeks now and nothing. They need to prioritize fixing the glitches for people who paid for things they didn't receive or refund us our money! Making us wait 6 weeks to see if their update would work and then shutting us out when it didn't is super sketchy.
its also super unfair to not get fixed these issues and still releasing Season-Pass stuff people will miss without a choice even tho they paid a lot of money for that!
I'm talking to Nintendo now to see if they can help. If GameLoft won't fix it, maybe Nintendo will refund my money.

I got an in-game mail today as well, but it was for the Standard Edition Founders Pack again, instead of the Deluxe Founders that I paid for. I'm good on moonstones, now I just need the other deluxe items from the pack --
Nintendo refunded my money. They said normally they don't refund digital purchases, but since this was a unique situation and I've never had a refund before, they gave it to me.
It say I have all three but Haven't goten any of the moonstones or extra stuff

Issue: Have not gotten missing items of founders pack! I finally checked back in after three weeks away and saw the update that came out but upon logging in- i see i got no mail for my missing stuff or anything!
Today, my wife logged into the game and found the pack re-sent to her in the mailbox! It gave her the moon tokens this time!
I think us who have received our items should update our inquiry in here to let them know the issue is solved. 😊

She received in the mailbox, the moon stones (8000 instead of 10000 like in the Ultimate Edition) but didn't received the items from the Ultimate Edition.
I still thinking the bug is still in progress and I can thank you for the first step, she can unlock some things and she hopes her Ultimate Edition items will be here soon !
Logged on today with a mailbox notification. I’ve received the base founders pack (which I already had claimed via Xbox game pass when I initially downloaded the game - no longer user game pass) with 8000 moonstones. Still missing ultimate items and additional moonstones.

If he hasn't played, and I understand this correctly, You could sign in with your cloud information on his profile. Get the items, save, and then log in on your profile.

For the last month she has played only on my profile, and i haven't played at all since the first day just to see if we got the rewards (still haven't)

I’m really starting to lose any good faith I had in Disney with this game. They sell you on the promise that you’ll get a Founder’s Pack, except that turns out to be a lie, and all you get when you ask is a non-committal canned response (if you get a response at all). The game is really good and I enjoy playing it, but not giving people what they paid for seems to be such a fundamental misstep that it’s hard to believe we aren’t being heard.

hi, hope i can help anyone with this: make sure you're still cloud logged in in the main menu (before you start up your game). Turns out for some reason i could like still just save to cloud in game but in the main menu at the cloud save section I was logged out. This prevented me from recieving the right rewards because then my account wasnt in the game code either

On my switch I bought the ultimate founders. Got the pack in my mailbox and says claimed but tons of the items shown are missing in my inventory. I would say about half of the items are missing. Examples: the crown, Mickey neon sign, firework sign, wall clock, and many others.

Issue: After a few weeks, I have still not received my Ultimate Founder's Pack items. They appeared in my mailbox, I went to claim them, and was told I needed to cloud save. I signed in via cloud save, went back in-game, and the items were gone. I submitted a ticket 12 days ago, but haven't heard anything back. It's really frustrating to have paid $70 for items I can't access. It also means I haven't been able to participate in the premium track of the Halloween event, as I haven't received my Moonstones either. I've basically given up on the game at this point.

I've bought the ultimate version for my switch and luckily I got every item that comes with it. Now after more than a month of gameplay I bought the regular version in steam.
Logging in went smooth, but when I opened my mailbox it overwrited my moonstones currency 😭
Luckily I didn't cloud save on my computer. So when I go on my switch, everything is fine. But when I cloud save again to open the game again on my computer, my moonstones are still a lot less than I actually had.
Has anyone had this issue before?
I really looked forward to play on the computer, is I hate to decorate on the switch.

The GL team has indicated they do use these threads to supplement when they are looking into issues. So yes it helps, but there is no guarantee you will receive a response back from them. If you want someone from GL support to respond, you should contact support via their website.

So my Daughter was using my wife’s email account when we bought her the game. Long story short, we had to unlink the email so wife could use it, and had to reset my daughters game in order to do so. She had the founder’s pack on her first game,but it didn’t show up after the reset, nor did she receive the moonstone email today. I think something happened when we reset her game, and that maybe resetting again might fix it? Edit: platform is switch.
Did you just change the mail and are using the same account as before on the Switch? If not - the founder pack items can only be received with the account that bought the game. At least that is the last information I read about that subject.

Hi Jukka. Yes, daughter is still using the same account that we purchased the founders pack on. We actually are not using any email now on her system( only seems it needed for cloud saving, and she only has the one device) Wife also is not using an email when we set her game up, and she received the founders pack, in addition to myself (3 separate switches with three separate accounts). I wonder if resetting the game did something. I put a trouble ticket into Gameloft about 1.5 weeks ago, but have not gotten a a response yet.
I read about someone having to restart the game as well. Try to completely erase every file that the system is having from the game. It might be somewhere in the code a line that tracks if the rewards are claimed. By removing every file and removing the game from the system, it should reset and after downloading and reinstalling the game you should have a completely clean slate and (hopefully) should be able to get the rewards again. To not lose the progress again, maybe try to get the save files on a card ridge that can be removed, before cleaning up, so you are able to retrieve the save files if this works or does not work.
Well, the switch doesn’t have very many things to delete. Just the actual software and the save game. I disabled N cloud saving, and wiped both out twice. No change in result. Once you go through the intro quest the mailbox becomes unlocked (with the rewards in it), but on her system nothing showed up. Also, I learned that even if you do not type in an email address, there is apparently still a Gameloft cloud save that I can’t remove. Not sure then, if the bits of data that say you claimed the rewards is on their side?
Not sure if this is the case, but it could be. Maybe the system ID or the account ID gets send to GL. I did not hear from other people who had to reset their games after the big save losses, which we have a few people talking about here on this discord server, if they got their Founders Pack Items again after the reset.
It could also be that your daughter is now one of the people who are affected from the bug which does not get the Founder Pack mails out and it is not an issue because of the reset or using the same account etc. then more being an issue because of this bug that is sadly still around. They wanted the last big update to get rid of this bug but it did not work for everyone.
I had the issue of not getting my Founders Items on Switch as well and did not get them after the big update either, but strangely got them after the small hotfix update that came a few days later.
I'm having this issue in reverse (claimed on Switch, now missing on PC). Did you ever get a fix for it?
One Information for you both: If you are just missing the moonstones after switching to another platform, then that is a normal thing. The (purchased) moonstones do not transfer between platforms. You have one amount on PC and another amount on Switch. So in example: If you have bought the ultimate edition on your first platform, the 20k moonstones will stay on that platform. When you buy the Standard edition on a second platform, you will just have the 8k moonstones that you get for the standard edition on that platform. Hope this helps at least somehow.
Yea, that’s what I was thinking that she got plagued by the bug and that’s the actual culprit in this situation. She did get the mail with the extra moonstones in it, so I know at least she is receiving mails. The odd thing though is that my wife’s game we also reset, and she got the founders pack as well, sorta. She somehow had a new founders pack, as well as a “claimed” older one. We discovered it was cause by her time skipping around for AC, and once we updated the time the “claimed” one disappeared. I guess I hope that either the bug gets fixed or at least GL responds back to me. They seem hit or miss with responses.

Only thing close to a response I get is when opening a new ticket, it gets closed because I am "already being helped."
So, Gameloft's official online response is just fraud, point blank. It's been two months, 0 response. At this point I'm seriously considering disputing it with the credit company for goods not provided.
Also, per what I said, at this point Gameloft is basically committing fraud for their false statements of"We have also implemented a new process with our Customer Care team to help support players still encountering this issue on a case-by-case basis. If you are still missing your Founder's Pack rewards, please reach out to or follow up on your Customer Care ticket so that they can investigate your individual case."
As I outlined, they are helping out our original tickets 0 in over 2 months, and are closing new tickets. That's their new business outline - defraud us, make a written statement making it sound easy all we have to do is start a new ticket for their new process, but we are unanswered on old ticket regardless how many times we followup and new tickets are closed!!
Is there any update on when we might receive missing items and moonstones from the pack we purchased? I purchased the Deluxe pack but only got the basic Founders pack rewards. I understand crashes since it’s early access but to not receive the items you pay for is start up THEFT! I have sent multiple tickets and it didn’t seem that there is no rush to do what’s right since they have our money already. I just want some accountability a least and acknowledgment that this is a priority and this issue will be resolved! Sorry for the rant, but it’s kind of annoying that they can compensate everyone with moonstones when there is a server issue but can’t seem to resolve or care to resolve this issue of not receiving the pack we paid for.

Only reason I bought it on steam was to get the founders pack stuff, I was already playing it for free on gamepass ---- and not getting what I paid for, and not being able to fully participate in the events took all the fun out of the game for me.

I know it’s a long shot but is there any update on this issue? I’ve actually stopped playing the game because it’s frustrated me so much. I may contact Nintendo or my credit card company for a refund as the product I’ve paid for hasn’t been provided and I’ve been robbed of £65 at this point. I’ve yet to leave reviews for this game anywhere too, that’s going to be fun 😂🙄

To my knowledge the founders pack is associated with the Nintendo account that purchased the game. So you should be able to create a new game, and a new copy of the founders pack should be in your mailbox (after the intro quests). However, there is a bug apparently that causes the founders pack to not show up (I think my daughter is experiencing this after having to start a new game). They are “working” on it per their FAQ, but who knows what’s actually up. I know it’s not the best news, but it’s where I believe where we are at right now.

I am on the same boat, and I am expecting never and am looking into escalating this with both Nintendo and my financial institution for sales fraud.

Nintendo Switch to Xbox. I started Dreamlight Valley on Switch and I didn't like it crashing all the time. I decided to get the game on Xbox using game pass and brought the game onto Xbox through my cloud save which worked. I received the basic founders pack and 2500 in moonstones which brought my total to 19,110. Today I logged on and my total was 17,710.

Just guessing because of the 8k amount. (Purchased) moonstones do not transfer between platforms. Every platform has its own amount. Just the moonstones you get in game while playing are visible on every platform.

Regarding your second sentence: (Purchased) moonstones do not transfer between platforms. You will have a different amount on each platform depending on which pack you bought. Just the moonstones you earned while playing will be shown on all platforms.
I am now going on 3 months without GameLoft answering my open ticket, and they close any new tickets, claiming I'm "Already being helped," though they have yet to actually assist me in awarding my Ultimate Pack.
I am about to start a daily e-mail & new ticket campaign, doing 1 of each daily until they actually help me!
Disappointed to find that the new patch notes doesn’t even acknowledge this issue!!! I bought the deluxe pack on the first day it was released on switch. At this point it is clear that Gameloft/Disney does not care and took the money and ran. It sucks since I do enjoy playing this game so much but I still feel very bitter at the same time. It’s fine if it takes a while to resolve but at least publicly acknowledge this issue so we know you are working on it!
