Platform: XBOX on PC
Issue: my digging buddy is level 10 and I have frequently used him while running around digging stuff, and unlike all other buddies he does not give any extra stuff while digging! My mining buddy sometimes walks up to rocks and makes an extra appear. My fishing buddy will sometimes pull an extra fish out of the water. My harvest and foraging buddies often give extras of what I harvest. But my digging buddy has literally never given me an extra of anything. Every time I dig he stands completely still. I have been playing for a few weeks and usually only play an hour or two at a time and it has always been this way.

Issue: Dig spot spawned where rug had been placed, character shakes head no when trying to dig as is. Rug had been in place multiple days before the spot spawned.

When I dig in the frozen area of the map it does not create snowballs. It creates grass clumps. It was happening during the crashes and continues after the game has been updated.

I don’t think you get snow every time. I think you can get grass there too? I just buy snowballs.

OK ty. I spoke to a friend on ps5 who has experienced no issues. They get snowballs everytimw they dig in the snow. Would anyone be able to verify what should be happening? Thank you for your support.

Digging companions are not giving extra items. When digging with them they only show the 1 star response like it's not the activity they are associated with and I have not had one extra drop. Dig spots also very slow to respawn, have been going all day and found maybe 25 in all which seems exceptionally low for about 6-7 hours of play.

Platform: Xbox One (gamepass download)

Issue: I noticed this spot while walking in the back area of the swamp. The right most path, to the left of it is a rock that had a dig spot for a crystal that made no sense as it's on a rock bordering the river. It was the only spot I could locate that made no sense. I left it dug up to illustrate the issue.

The quest line I am working on tells me to bring the fragment to mother gothel but it is not allowing me to dig it up. I'd like to notate that I went to water it and the quest step changed to what is pictured. Item is not in my inventory.

Issue: digging holes behind houses. They won't disappear. Can't be dug up either when removing tree. Even tho it lights up when you hover over them. Only way would be to remove the shop and decoration in front of the shop to dig them out.

I’m digging like crazy but no memory orbs are spawning. I’m trying to finish the memories and I’ll get some from harvesting (mostly coins now since I’m almost done with those) but digging, mining, fishing, etc memory orbs won’t spawn for me anymore

Issue: dig spots sometimes appear too close to a building and cannot be gained unless said building is moved. Most notably, it has happened at Wall-E's truck 2 or 3 times now and just now behind Scrooge"s shop (which I have not moved ever)

This furniture item called rocky terrain still spawns digging spots over it and you have to move it in furniture mode to dig sparkle spots that spawn and then put them back which is tedious and annoying as I like the design for my bushes area

When I dig plots for crops and don’t have anything planted in them for a few days, the game erases my plots. Why can’t they just leave them as is for future seed planting?

Sometimes when I dig, I dig up a little sparkle thing that I can't interact with. It is just floating. It doesn't go away until I restart the game.

I have the same exact spot. I had a thought on how to fix it. The developers made it so that herbs relocate every night when the game resets. They could do the same thing for dig spots, and that would fix this one temporarily, as well as ones trapped behind buildings, or things like that.

Issue: Digging friends not finding any items. They just follow my character gaining friendship but never find an item. My digging friends are Donald and Remy. Both friendship levels are at 8. They do not find any items in any biome.
Addendum: Now they do find an item when digging many holes at a one time but it's extremely rare. Not as often as the other friends with foraging, mining, or gardening. They will find an additional item it's just after several holes are dug.
If you find a sparkly spot to dig and dig there your digging companion will never find an extra item. Digging friends find an item only when digging many holes at a time and still find an extra item rarely.

Issue: Not sure where else to put this, but since it happened while digging, I'll put it here.

While digging, one of the magic thrown out things (soil, money, etc) got stuck, and I can't do anything with it. It's just sort of floating there.

I have two dig spots behind Scrooge's shop right next to the wall and placed touching next to each other. I have tried many times, days and different angles and I am still unable to dig them up...my character just shakes their head when the spots are highlighted and they try to dig.
