So I accidentally had my clock on the switch set a month ahead when I first started playing Dreamlight. I now have to play a month in advance or else I lose all fruits and spices and I cant’t harvest anything. It hasn’t been a huge issue to just play a month in advance, but now I have moved back to the correct date for the new star path. Cant complete star path without any fruit or spices or harvesting though :((

I have a patch of crops that will not grow. It has been a month now. I water them daily. Several times a day. I had hoped after the bug fix release and the Scar update it would be fixed, but it is not. Please help!

Issue: Tomatoes still dry out after rain but pumpkins and carrots remained watered. After watering tomatoes, they did grow and can harvest. The update did not fix this issue with all crops.

Issue: I logged on to water my plants as it has been 8 hours, so my pumpkins should be ready. Instead, they were* stuck in the water phase as if they had already been watered. I have over 100 plants stuck in this phase, but I’m hoping it’s connectivity issues.

Holding down for harvesting pauses the character here and there. They still “auto”pick up but it takes a lot longer because they pause periodically.

Issue: Crops will not grow and keep drying out, regardless of number of times watered. Bug was present before the update, but the update did not fix it sadly. Only happening with this one set of crops located near main plaza/original character house placement.

Issue: planted a number of wheat seeds. Waiting for it to grown, but only about 80% of them fully grew. The remaining 20% stayed in the 'sprout' stage. I waited at least 5 minutes and planted a 2nd batch of crop and they still didn't sprout

Issue: after changing the date and time on my PlayStation I cannot pick up crops, spices, or mushrooms. Fruit is not growing back after harvesting, rock spots are not regenerating either. If you play at all on a future date it seems to do something to the save file. Please help!?

I can’t get the worms to appear to continue with the Moana quest. They appeared when I did the Maui quest. I didn’t time jump or anything like that.

Issue: My character seems to get stuck while harvesting or planting in the forbidden lands. If I jiggle the joystick they usually unstick, but it has about 50/50 success rate.

Issue: I logged on to water my plants as it has been 12 hours, so my pumpkins should be ready (planted prior to update). Instead, they are stuck in the water phase as if they had already been watered (every time I’ve logged in it’s been raining) other plants growing fine

—UPDATE— I logged in this morning and still had the issue played for about an hour and they have all grown, so maybe the timer wasnt working while I was offline?

Issue: Since the new update, I have lost two farming fields I have placed by goofys stall in the peaceful meadow. It shouldn't have been impacted by the new features on the update (that I am aware of).

My garden has been removed twice. I shrugged it off the first time and redid it. After that I was fine. I just went on the game and my garden is gone again…. Should I even try to dig another garden?

If I do not plant anything in the farming plots for a while they suddenly disappear & I have to waste time & energy to re plant them which is highly annoying please fix thankies in advance 🙂

Issue: I just hopped on, saved my data to the cloud and all due to the update. (I didn’t play the day it released lol.) I walked over to my garden to see that half of my crops were missing and holes were filled. I also see that the night thorn decided to sneak in the back.

Update: I don’t remember getting Soya beans? I remember having tomato crops but not Soya beans. This could be on my fault for bad memory, but I thought it should be said either way.

As seen in the video, seeds just won't be planted no matter what even if trying time and time again. I've had it since the very beginning but it got much worse after the Scar's update

Issue: I have about 5-6 random spots in my garden that will not allow me to interact. They are planted, but will not let me water, harvest or interact in anyway. I have used these holes multiple times in the past, and was able to interact with them immediately post-update. This issue started about half an hour into my gameplay last night, post-update and after I had already harvested, replanted, and watered. I have done no time traveling or anything else.

Edit: Reloaded my game and all my pumpkins spawned at once but also experienced a different issue entirely where the game stole my rich soil after saving when it bugged during crafting, but that's something else entirely.

Issues: Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get an update where the character don't get so close to your during gardening that it triggers a conversation?

The Golden crops are great but half of them are missed or interrupted becuase our buddies decide it's a great idea to come along and stand right on top of it! It's the MOST frustrating thing!

When harvesting tomatoes - I got a "bonus" to collect x number of tomatoes in a certain time. There is no longer music to cue how long you have, and I did collect all of the ones that spawned and got no bonus.

PC: my crops keep disappearing - in less than 72 hours. I already hated that they disappeared after 72 hours... Now I have to dig them again every day?? Please find a better solution for crop removal in stead of disappearing or a button where you can choose how you want it, or a better removal system... please... I know you can remove them by putting furniture on them, but my 10x10 patches in each biome, having to dig them up again because I didn't put a crop in it for 24 hours is not ok...

Platform: PC Game Pass. What you will notice in the picture you see a field of grass, well yesterday that field had 300 dug holes for my pumpkin seeds but I boot up the game and this is what I see.

Platform: Switch While harvesting my avatar will slow down and lag. When I have a bonus crop to harvest, avatar will get stuck and cause me to loose time to gain extra crop. I wish there was an easier way to do the boost for the extra harvest of crops. You have to be directly above the plant to quickly harvest and sometimes it doesn’t register that you are moving to get the extra crop.

This same issue happened to my husbands account while playing. He plays on Switch and dug an entire plot in the plaza. He came back the next day and it was all gone. He saved multiple times to ensure that his progress was kept and he lost all of his dug holes.

Platform: Switch. My garden area is completely plain, so I have to dig holes again. Should I just keep crops planted the whole time so I don’t lose the holes I dig? Slightly annoying to dig over and over every day for an area I specifically designated for gardening.

Platform: Switch I logged on this morning and lost my entire plot of dug holes in the forgotten land. In the picture these areas were covered in dig holes. Now I only have the smaller plot in the corner next to the entrance to the blocked side of the Sunlit Plateau. The first picture is in the Glade of Trust. This was a square of dug holes and I lost almost all of them. I had cloud saved and had this plot for a couple of days before it disappeared.

Switch: I had planted crops before the update. Now since the update, the game is not letting me pick the crops, apple trees, or raspberry bushes. I got up to them and it does not give me the option for harvesting.

Did anyone else see the reddit post about how male avatars water crops much faster than female avatars? saw multiple people agreeing that they noticed in the comments. Is this a bug?

Like some reported above, I had some plants that were dry (and were showing the dust) but looked watered. I had a problem with Canola specifically - I had to water it 3 times.
The first time I watered it, I got the little droplets back. Had to close my game a couple of minutes after and when I reopened it they were dry again (this time showing dust and looking dry). Had to re-water them a couple of minutes after that.

I also did have to re-water my pumpkins this morning but I wasn't sure if pumpkins have to be watered twice.

I planted and watered my Okra this morning around 7:15am EST. I logged in at 5:30pm EST today and the Okra is still not done growing. It has never taken this long for Okra to grow before.

Issue: Time events have no music, since patch, and items despawn before timer. Random lag when planting/harvesting. Also, occasionally my character "moves" when harvesting the single harvest plot event (don't know what to call it, red/gold bubble pops up over plot and we can multi-harvest) and have "move back" into position to harvest again.

Issue: I have to press the A button twice after selecting to plant a seed to either just plant one OR to plant multiple, it won’t register the first time I hit the A button.
My character also keeps freezing when I plant multiple seeds, she will plant a few, stand up, stay standing there (while I hold the A button) from anywhere from 1 second up to 10 seconds before she continues to plant. Same with harvesting.

I can water them and they turn green and have the water drops like they've been watered. A short time later they will be dry and dusty. No matter how many times I water them, they do not grow to harvest

I don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed since the Scar update, my character no longer harvests crops in the correct order. I will keep my button pressed for auto-harvest, and before, I could just do line after line (10x10 plot), but now, I'll start at the beginning of my row, then it will switch over to the next row over without finishing the current row. It takes forever now to harvest with having to go back and pick up the random little patches that were missed.

I've noticed that the harvesting lag and seeming stuck in my garden plot has resolved itself since I turned off my critter companion. I had been frequently outrunning my fox companion, and they would disappear until I unselected and reselected them under inventory. I wonder if the disappearing is affecting harvesting when we're getting the lag?

This is gardening and mining and fishing and foraging really, anything where it does that glowing duplicate effect. It said for the update that the music would last for the whole time the items are, but now there is no music at all when that happens and the time frame to get the items is even shorter than it was before

So i planted and watered pumpkins at 8pm last night just before going to bed.
I planned on giving them their 2nd watering in the morning then go on about my day and come back later to harvest.
When i logged on at 5am they werent dry and required an additional two hours before asking for water, which was about 15 min ago at 7:30am.

I asked in #dreamlight-help if i needed to be online for the crops to continue going through their growth and watering cycles to which i was answered with a no.
Im guessing its a bug?

I just came here to post the same thing. I planted some pumpkins last night before going to bed, they were planted while it was raining so the rain watered them. I logged on this morning to water them but they were still wet. It's now 5:52pm and they still haven't grown but are still showing as wet.

Issue: Unsure if this is a true "bug" but many people have mentioned that male characters harvest crops much faster and more smoothly than female characters. I play as a female character and a lot of the time my character will stop for a full second or two between picking each crop.

Maybe this isn’t a bug but not being able to move or push scar/Minnie when I run into them makes them stand on my crops while I garden and I can’t pick up golden ones when they do this

Issue: The female characters do planting and harvesting way slower and sometimes the AI stops while having the button pressed for multiple seed being planting. So the character starts planting, then all of a sudden stands just there for 1-3 seconds and then continues for no obvious reason.

I planted pumpkins about 24 hours ago and they still have not grown. I have watered them twice already but still not growing. I had to go offline to get the crops to get the 2nd water.

Issue: I noticed this when walking around the valley in the back half of the swamp to the left of the right most path leading back there. This rock had a dig spot for a crystal and it struck me as odd that the parameters for the border of the river and its area would allow just this one spot to be able to have a dig spot. I left it dug up to get the photo for here. My photo isn't loading on my end for some reason (I'm on mobile) however I'll update here if I find any other odd dig spots that make no sense. Also an update. The Sunlit Plateau after you restore the pillar the area behind the pillar has a pond behind it and there's a pink house leek growing there that I cannot remove, however it looks very pretty there anyway so I'm not too worried about that particular bug. Also, I just realized this wasn't the right place for the crystal dig spot bug, I'll cross post there as well since I included actual gardening issues.

My character (male) harvests crops and plants crops INCREDIBLY slowly when holding "A" to auto farm or plant. It's really noticeable and I hope this gets fixed soon. I didn't even see it listed as a known issue on the other thread.

The ripe bounce animation for my pumpkin patch in the Forbidden Lands froze (some pumpkins were in mid-jump others weren't). I was able to harvest and replant, but whatever caused the animation freeze made the game almost crash 3 times and the extras thrown by my follower went off of blue run-over it to collect mode about 50% faster.

Issue: I have had pumpkins planted and needed to be harvested. I waited 3 days, waiting for free time to get back on the game. This is different from the issue where characters stop for a few seconds and then start again. I've been gardening all day to get money and I keep noticing my crops disappearing. i thought maybe i was missing spots despite using the hold function but I'm 100% now that they are just goin away on their own. since the update, it appears that the critical harvest (where crops go flying to be collected or can be collected several times) rates have either dropped significantly or become zero? i grow about 99 pumpkins a day and have not been getting any critical harvests, where previously i would get one every 10-15 harvests or so.
not sure if this is a bug but certainly makes my moneymaking strategy harder 😅

Whenever I were to hold the option to collect more than just one crop my character likes to stand still for 1-2 seconds and then picks up a crop repeating that process. This also happens whenever I am Gathering crops but in addition to it it likes to go in opposite ways then where I'm directing my character

When harvesting/planting your character stops doing the task even though you're continuing to press "E." This is different from them just pausing for a second or two. The overlay that says how many seeds you have/"hold "E" to harvest multiple" goes away.

Details: I haven’t played in a week or so, and my crop of 100 pumpkins has disappeared without being harvested. I was hoping the pumpkins would be moved to my inventory, but they were not. This is extremely frustrating considering how much pumpkin seeds cost. Is this a common issue?

My pumpkins were glitched today. They should have been ready when I came in game, but It was raining and no pumpkins. Than I noticed some giant mushrooms so I watered them and the pumpkin plants beside them turned into ripe pumpkins. So I watered all my pumpkins (in the rain) and than I was able to gather

Twice now I have planted my pumpkins in the afternoon during a rainstorm (so they were already showing watered and did not enable me to water them again), but when I logged in again 24 hours later they are still showing watered and NOT ready for harvesting.

My pumpkins will not grow. They've been planted for a week, they've been rained on at least three times, and I've watered them at least a dozen times. I also have a message that my cloud save is out of sync by 6 days, unsure if this is related.

Okay so is anyone having the issue with delay while gardening on Switch? So whenever my character harvests or plants a crop, she just stands there for like anywhere from 1-3 seconds and then she moves to the next crop. Like it makes gardening literally like 5 times or longer than it should... It actually got worse. Before if I restart the game then it actually fixed it. But these days, its literally every few crops then she stops and stands there for a few seconds... It gets extremely annoying when a golden plant appears, but I have to wait 1-3 seconds before I can move my character to gather it. That wastes so much time and I didnt gather much from that.. So I not sure if any other Switch users are having this problem or if its just me.

I play on Xbox X and I have the same issue. Not sure if the biome makes a difference 🤔 mines slow on all but she does go a little bit faster when doing pumpkins in forgotten realm but super slow stopping often in swamp when I do my okra.

Hmm… It happens to all my crops. Even my pumpkins. I do my pumpkins the most so I notice it more on them. I really hope they fix it soon

Issue: Rain doesn't effect my rice grown in glade of trust. It shows the plants are wet however I still need to water them the same amount of times if it rains or not. Issue for me is on both ps4 and pc. The rice also has to be watered twice where as I am being told it should only be once.

Platform PC Issue When harvesting at WALLE's garden, my character harvests by not going in a straight line through but having to run further and turn around to harvest each crop compared to harvesting a regular set of crops where it continues in a straight line not changing the way the character is facing to harvest the crop, two videos of the two different ways the character harvests. I understand that this is a smaller patch of crops but it does impact the speed of harvesting.

while trying to harvest in wall-e's garden, my character froze and couldn't do anything. had to hard close the game and jump back in only for the same issue to happen again. so, at the moment it feels incredibly hard to harvest from wall-e's garden.

platform: xbox I have severely broken farming, I think I pushed the game to it's limits and now it doesn't like me lol. I tried doing the trick where you trap your farming friend and let them out after harvesting everything so that they give you all of the bonus at once, except I did it for like 850 veggies. Now wall-e seems to pick up the bonus but not drop it, but when I save and exit and come back, every ground tile is covered with pumpkins, I think I may have just given him more than what he can drop at once. Looking into it now.

There's currently a gardening bug where either crops don't grow and never need watered or they keep trying out. Since yours keep needing water, you can try the miracle elixir if you're far enough into the game to be able to make that and see if it will grow them for you.

Issue: The full bar of energy at level 40 isn't enough to do 100 pumpkins, but it used to before, idk if it's a issue, but that level 40 bar should have been enough to do 100 pumpkins and not 80. I also do my patches 10 by 10 so it's easily 100 pumpkins

It seems to be random, as is the nature of bugs. It seems to be pumpkins a lot but whether it's because they're pumpkins or because that's what everyone plants is unknown - it's not just them, just them a lot. Sometimes it goes away and they only take a few extra hours, sometimes it's lasting much longer. 😦

Issue: Planted 4 gardens of Okra, they have been drying/watered/rained on for a month and they won't mature to harvest. All gardens are located in Peaceful Meadow. Time on save and consoles are synced, but crops were planted when it was out of sync. I've had it on correct time for a month to get them to catch up but they will not grow nor can they be removed.

I play on PS5. I planted pumpkins at 8am, watered them again at 10:30 am and now it's 12:30 am here, so like 16 hours ago, and they're still dripping water & not grown. Is my game messed up?? This has never happened before. 🤷‍♀️🫤

Early game I had issues trying to plant seeds right next to my house, mostly close to the fence. It resolved by closing & opening the game.

Characters stand too close while planting our harvesting, causing me to accidentally talk to them. On the Switch, holding the A button to auto-harvest sometimes is really slow. When a glowing crop happens, it doesn't auto-target to keep harvesting from it & it's so slow & awkward to get back to it, I usually can't get the bonus harvests manually. When my gardening buddy causes the timed orange drops, I can almost never get all of the orange drops before they disappear.

Issue: well it's not me complaining I just feel like it should be brought up but I just noticed my pumpkins are taking a short time to grow and I have no idea why. Im not complaining but i thought i should let someone know . I'm on my 4th patch since 6pm tonight and I plant 200 at a time roughly. I’m on switch and I took about a month ish off from playing and I had planted some okra outside my house in the plaza and in the glade. The plaza okra was dried, so I watered, but it hasn’t been ready for harvest in over a week. Every few hours I keep watering and I can’t dig them out or put furniture over them to clear the area like you can when you dig holes. I’ve lost thousands in okra crops and there’s a ton of space taken up by them! I can harvest the glade okra all except for one crop. Idk what to do except submit a ticket

Issue: Garden Plots are disappearing with things planted in them even after the amount of time they are supposed to disappear when they’re empty. There needs to be a way to change in our settings when they disappear and if we would like for them to disappear or not. They shouldn’t disappear if there’s things planted. As I was harvesting crops, a blue thing shot out from the plant. I assumed it was a memory or. It was a flower that had a blue glow around it. A few minutes later, the same thing happened but with a stick. One of them was very far away from where I was actually harvesting things, so that one extra confuses me

Issue: There appears to be a memory leak with planting and harvesting crops. In the past two days I have spent 30+ minutes harvesting and replanting crops in different biomes. Afterwards, the performance in-game has taken a noticeable hit

Bump @haughty wagon post, also planted Pumpkins 3 days ago. Watered them continuously every few hours. The game also has been raining all 3 days(?) my console is consistently connected to the internet, so it’s not a date/time problem. Anyone know what’s happening here?

@rain herald finally today after 5 days i was able to harvest… I just turned it on in the morning, and watered them and left it on for a few hours and the ripened 🤷🏼‍♀️
