:x I have a hard time getting out of his store sometimes, I'll be standing in front of the door but the option to leave wont' be there, i have to back up and stand in the perfect spot and then i can leave. the problem with this is that the character then walks forward to leave... earlier today I was leaving his store and got stuck on moana, who was my companion at the time. i couldn't reach the door but was already trapped in the animation, couldn't open menus or anything, had to alt f4 to get out of the game, luckily it had auto saved.

Also no way to see if I already own a wallpaper - not in the collection tab, and also no furniture mode, outside also no furniture mode for wallpapers - so I have to go to my house and see if I have it - turns out I did, so double wallpaper really shouldn't be an option.

There is no companion option indoors because the companion is not available indoors.

Regarding the wallpaper. It does make sense to have more then one, we can have 20 floors with 4 rooms each. So we need a lot wallpapers.

Small tip. You should be able to ask Scrooge to order something and there should be the wallpapers there. Then you see if you have it already.

There is no point to having more than one of each wallpaper as you can use each one over and over as many times as you'd like. So buying a double of one you already own is a waste of coins. Just so you know.

Issue: Can no longer purchase items I've crafted in Scrooge's shop. This is extremely frustrating for items that can take weeks to gather the materials for like the gazebo or the water tower. Also the clothing items he has in his furniture catalog are all clothing pieces i already own, and there is no way to indicate what is new and what is not.

I haven’t seen a specific tab that is dedicated to Kristof shop. So I will post here. I have had Kristof shop for almost 2 weeks. I have not had coal in my rotation once. The 3 bottom rows consist of the other transitional items, but coal has not been into his shop. I have screenshots from the past 4 days that show that the items have changed however, I have not gotten Coal. I check his shop everyday after I finish at Scrooges. I am desperately searching for more coal.

This is only since the update, no issues before and his shop is fully upgraded. I will also note, I am no longer receiving blueprints in Eric's home and it's been days and nothing is spawning there.

Is the one clothing in window really something you have? It’s a normal behavior to have on one day only one item in the windows and if you buy that the windows will be empty from then on because there it nothing more available for the windows. Also Eric’s blueprints are quite fast gone because you don’t get that many from him.

it's been like that only since the update. Every day I've logged in since release and in the morning my shop gets updated with new replenished items each morning, including the 2 in the windows. I'm not talking about visiting after I've purchased for the day. I'm talking about the whole shop gets reset except this window as of the update.

I do not have anywhere near all the clothing items in the collections tab, especially since the update added so many more. And my items that are restocking are things I have already purchased. This is not the same experience as other users that are getting different specialty items daily, versus me getting the same couch, picture of mickey, window and trashbin along with the same dumb cupcake skirt, tshirt dress, basic watch, and basic bermuda shorts that I've had in the shop every day since the update. I have all of these items. Similar to Mouzlys issue above me. This is a bug.

Well ok. But keep in mind that Dresses and whole body suits (only those are able to be in the window and there are no new added in the update for that special place in shop) are only 35 or something in the game. But of course it can also bug. If it’s a bug I hope it gets fixed soon ☺️

I was inside Scrooge's shop and bought a few items. The game crashed, but when I logged back in the game all of the shop items had changed. The next day all of the items were still the same. So I never got to repurchase the items I lost in the crash. It was close to midnight PST so I'm not sure if that helps to pinpoint the cause.

Issue: Scrooge lists clothing items I've already ordered in his clothing items list when you ask him to order clothing for you. As there is no use for duplicate clothing, he would stop having a particular piece of clothing listed after you bought it/if you already own it. After the Scar update, all the orderable clothing items I previously purchased are being shown again. There is no indication to show which items I already own, and when I buy the clothing item again, it's not removed from the lists.

Oddly enough, the Onyx Crown and Sun-and-Moon Crown are also now listed for sale in his catalog. No other level up reward clothing items are listed. Again, I already own both of these from leveling up my character, so I wouldn't expect to see them for sale since owning more than one is useless.

Issue: When I order an item from scrooge's store (clothing) it does not disappear after I buy the item like it use to so I know what I bought already It remains listed as if I never bought the item.

Screenshots: "Capture 1" shows the order menu as if I never bought the item "Capture 2" Shows my inventory and that I bought the item even though the order menu shows I didn't.

If someone has the same problem and knows a fix please let me know I hope I am not the only one with this issue.

Issue: Constantly getting duplicate items. 7 out of 11 of my items today were duplicates. I only have 261 items out of 997 so the chances are duplicates shouldn't really be this high. One or two a day, yeah. But not 7.

Im having the same issues as pretty much everyone. My shop windows are empty. Yes the idea that I bought everything seems plausible except 1) that hasnt stopped a single item from appearing again and 2) my husband has items in his store windows that I have not purchased yet.

The second issue is that I pretty much have the same set of items every day. There seems to be about 7 or 8 items it picks from for the small furniture on the shelf and maybe 10 for the furniture platform. The top items pick between the same 10 items too with maybe once a week a different item showing up in one of the 3 locations. Now I know that with randomizing you still have a chance at duplicates but every day having the same small selection of items is crazy. If its not a bug then it is a bad game design.

Okay, so I posted this also in the crashes and errors section, but it may fit better here.

I just had a major glitch at Scrooge's store. I went to buy things, and the first two items I tried to buy (a white stag that hangs on the wall, and a silver and blue inlay flooring pattern) said that there was a transaction error? I was able to buy everything else in the store with no problem.

However, while I was still in the store, I tried to put on some clothes I bought. It would show me in the new clothes as I built an outfit, but then put me back into the same outfit that I was wearing previously when I backed out of the menu. It did it several times before I gave up trying to change clothes. I thought that was odd, so I saved the game and then restarted it.

When the game restarted, I went back to the shop and everything was bought out, except there was a new bed on the second floor that wasn't there before. There was a red, long kitchen island there before I restarted the game, which I did purchase before the restart. I figured that was weird, because I've never seen new items in the store after I've bought it out for the day.

Then I went into my menu to find the items I'd bought before and realized that everything new I bought today wasn't in my inventory (that included some icy purple earrings, a light gray vest, orange cat ears, and various other items). The things I ordered from Scrooge before I reset my game were in my inventory, however.

I'm so confused. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to fix it so I get my items back? The gold I spent on them is still gone but my items aren't in my inventory.

If you’ve purchased all of the costumes, dresses and suits then nothing appears in the windows. If you haven’t finished all of those purchases and they’re missing, then it’s a bug.

I've tried looking through this thread and haven't seen anything about this yet, so I thought I'd put it out there.

When clicking on an item to purchase from the floor of Scrooge's shop, it would be really nice if it could show you in the item description that you already own it and/or how many you own.
I can't remember the colors of every item of clothing I own so I have to click the item to see what color it is (sometimes it's hard to tell), then back out of the purchase, go to the catalogue or my inventory (depending on the item) and see if I have that item in that specific color, then back out of that and go back into the purchase to buy it. It's a bit frustrating of a process.

Depending on the item, it might be in an unexpected place. It’s possible you bought undecorated clothing items that are placed in the touch of magic area, not in the shirts area (or bag, hat, etc). The white turtleneck is notorious for this.

**Issue: **Far too many duplicates in Scrooge's store. For the number in the pool of available items it should be statistically extremely unlikely to get this many duplicates of particular item if the selection was truly random without you "fudging the numbers" behind the scenes. I feel like this screen shot is my every day. It isn't, though it's not far off from hyperbole. There are certain items that show up just far too frequently. I have 12 mannequin's (all bought from the showroom, not the catalog) and have passed up at least another half a dozen since i've just been leaving them to rot. This is one of the worst offenders by far not the only one, some others include but are not limited too...

I can pretty much guarantee to get at least one of those items offered every day. I am also experiencing the issue the person above me posted where that slot (hey I know that table!!! 🙄 ) is not offering 4 items every day consistently.

Browsed clothing, tried some items on. I was wearing a pair of pants and a pair of boots. They were both in my shopping cart and I decided to not buy them. I pressed B to cancel, nothing happened.

I removed both items from my shopping cart and pressed B to cancel, again nothing happened. I pressed 'Buy' and nothing happened.

Issue #1: Scrooge’s shop isn’t generating any dresses or suits for sale on its window display.
It’s been going on for 3 days in a row now. I do not own all of the dresses/suits available in game so far, so that’s definitely not the reason why it’s empty and not generating. Window display seems to be glitched.

Possible issue #2? Not sure if intentional: Scrooge is now carrying duplicate of the clothing items that I already own in the Order Clothing Items screen, it didn’t before. Usually when you’d buy something from the order screen, it would register that you already owned it and it didn’t show up again, since it was bought and owned. Now they’re showing up again.
Not sure if this is intentional or not.

I'm on Steam on PC, and I've also just encountered an empty accessory shelf. I know I don't have everything because there are a few items I've been waiting for, specifically the Yellow Round Wireframe Glasses and the Elegant Floral Semi-Updo.
Edit: A full shelf on day two, empty again on day three, full on day four, five, and six, but empty on day seven.

You can't use multiple wallpapers so it shouldn't be in the shop multiple times if you bought it, just like clothes... or at least see it in your furniture collection... please fix soon...
Issue 2: my gardening buddies still run in front of me when I get the glowy crit crop where you can harvest a lot, because of that when I press E I talk to my gardening buddy in stead of being able to harvest. People have been reporting this issue since early september and a lot of people keep talking about locking your gardening buddy up - but that doesn't seem a correct way to play the game... please fix soon...

Issue: Not getting anymore new accessories or clothing table items despite still missing 26-27 of them still. Been two or three days of the shop being like this. I still get shirts and pants but that's it. (19 left on those by the way if it matters)
I know I'm getting low on the amount of clothing items I have left to collect and am aware that once there's no more the shop has no more to display.
But with 26-27 accessories, shoes, hats, etc still missing I should still be seeing SOMETHING on that table.
It just really sucks when you started collecting this stuff just mainly for one item and now it feels like I'm forever locked out of it because Scrooge won't put anything else up there.
It's quite possible this isn't a bug per say but it's an issue nonetheless. It's possible maybe the game is making an attempt to make the store's stock last longer by giving only 3 clothing pieces at a time and I've been unlucky and I've only gotten shirts and pants. Maybe someday I will see a table item again. However this still quite frustrating and should be considered for adjustments.

Issue: Bought 'White Long Sleeved Turtleneck' from Scrooge's shop and while it shows up in my collection, it is not wearable as it doesn't show up in my wardrobe tops (screenshots following this post)

Thought I had purchased all of the small wardrobe accessories as that shelf was empty for 2 days in a row, but then weirdly, today: fully stocked all new stuff again.
(Just to clarify: the rest of the store was stocking as normal)

I wanted to second this issue, but on PC. I had the same thing happen; I had nothing in the shops, assumed I had bought everything there was to buy, and then more showed up the next day (a full amount, actually).

I assume this is some kind of interaction that happens when you have very few items left.

Issue: My Scrooge’s shop will sometimes revert to having no accessories or clothing for sale if my switch crashed right as I entered the store. Before the crash I would see items on display but after reopening the game, some of them are missing.

Issue: I ordered a clothing item from Scrooge's Shop but it doesn't show up in my inventory. The clothing item is in the "Tops" category and its a white long sleeve shirt for 900 Star Coins.

The same items continously repeat even after being bought. I buy everything in the store each morning and I have more than a dozen mannequins, blue pearl lamp, apple lamp, bear chair, chair with antlers, moose head for wall, food service stand, fireplace shaped like a tree.

Issue:a wallpaper I already have popped up in shop, I thought it was a different wallpaper only to find out it was the same thing. Even when buying clothes from Scrooge himself. The clothes you purchase through him directly still pop up to purchase. I had this wallpaper and used it 3 days during my stream too. The wallpaper was available for purchase again even tho I have it.

Platform: Switch Issue: Scrooge's store stuck with same repetitive items over and over again. I've been playing since hour one and I have 201 out of 1004 furniture items. If I see the dirty chandelier, the mermaid lamp, the beauty and the beast lamp, the space window, the fireplaces, or that stupid horned wall hanging and chair one more time, I'm going to scream. I've tried buying everything in the store. I've tried not buying the same stuff over and over again. I've even tried the "don't save to cloud, go in scrooge's store, see duplicate items, immediately end game with home button and not saving game" thing. Nothing was different or new in the store. Nothing. Oddly enough, I have almost all of the clothing and haven't had anything showing up there for over a month. But the furniture part of the scrooge's store is definitely stuck. Stuck!

I have been playing for about two months. I am constantly getting the L shaped generic couches, beds on a daily basis along with the generic beds. Mother goths fireplaces and lots of tables. Currently have 361/1004 furniture items . My front windows emptied about two weeks ago so bought all that was available there. I still get some new items from the main level middle area and house items. Far right area all duplicates. Far left still some new items such as hair styles, glasses, jewelry. Platform: Switch

Platform: switch - my collections tab shows I still need about 100 clothing items but nothing has been showing up on the clothing/accessory side of the store for me to buy in several days.

Please please please optimize the shop so we get new items every day. I’m down to about 100 clothing items left to buy so good progress is being made there, but I have over 600 furniture items left to encounter and at most I get one new item a day in my shop, with most days having zero new items.

It’s extremely frustrating when it will take literal YEARS to get all of the furniture items, and that doesn’t even account for additional items being added to the game.

On the 1st floor on the right it's I think a month I don't get anything new to buy. On the 2nd floor it's even worst.... 😑 It's stuck
