Photo/Video: With the new update, all of the colors are off and no longer look the same - ie. Brown hair now reading as a red-brown. In addition, this now happens when you lose energy?? This is extremely disturbing and hard to visually watch every time you lose your energy. Please return this back to the way it was. This is absolutely not accessible, difficult to watch for people with vision issues, and this darkening/flashing of red is just discomforting. It looks like you're dying.

My character looks dull. How the game looked before was incomporable. I understand it might be too intense for some people, but there should be graphics settings in the game, so everyone can adjust the game to suit their needs & their system.

ISSUE: I’m having issues with the resolution scale, I always use 2.0 in the resolution scale but every time I travel to a different realm or enter/leave a building the resolution scale instantly go to 1.0 even though it's still showing 2.0 in the configurations menu, and when I change to 1.0 and back to 2.0 it fixes it until I go to another realm or enter/leave a building again.
PHOTOS: One screenshot before I enter/leave a building and one screenshot after I left the building near me, in the oranger circles I show some differences in the graphic of the game, everything gets more blurry.

Some of the game's colors are completely different after the update. I noticed my hair color is very different than originally, the first picture is what my hair color was all the time before the update, and the second is my hair color after the update

I have not changed anything with my character's hair. Some colors around the valley are significantly different as well but I just cannot put my finger on what is different?

Yes I noticed this too. They toned the lighting down, the game is quite dull now. If you go to moanas realm you’ll see it’s quite foggy. My character looks shadowy. Wish they would change it back 😦 or let us choose graphic options

I think ppl were complaining about it being too overwhelming but that’s why they should have graphics settings and let people choose what they want. I am comparing screenshots, and my photos were more soft and vibrant. Now (no offense) but it looks like switch graphics.Im glad im not the only one who noticed lol. Hopefully if enough of us report it, they’ll do something about it

Allowing us to change the graphics to how WE want them would be way better than changing them to how they see fit. Obviously no offense to the devs, but giving that accessibility to players is what is important imo

Issue: textures seems very grainy/fuzzy. Was so much smoother before the update. Lighting is also off, and colours. I don’t know what exactly but everything just seems different. I noticed it straight away. From the hair, to just the overall map. Colours don’t seem as bright and vibrant and everything looks dark. Can’t help but feel like there’s a black effect all around the border, it’s so dark!

When my stamina gets low, and the dreaded flashing starts... eating and restoring my stamina does not fix it. It continues flashing.

I think it is doing that for everyone on each platform unfortunately - I think the flashing and colorization is a specific length of time that is unaffected by stamina increasing at all from food eaten until after the full effect played out long enough (if that makes sense) - just wanted to say that we are all in the same boat, unfortunately, but at least you're not alone ❤️

Has anyone had an issue with the camera movement being laggy? It was smooth before the first small update. Today, I changed to Fullscreen mode and it fixed for like 10 minutes then began to skip/lag again. The movement is fine, it's only the camera movement

Issue: was running/holding L stick from the Meadow to Dazzle Beach to Moana's home, as soon as the quest graphic popped up from the Meadow and even upon letting go/trying to 'Track' the quest with the L stick, no dice, didn't disappear

Issue: The environment doesn’t match the clock.

When I first started playing I was behind the current time. I synced my clock to the current time and immediately after syncing my environment wasn’t matching the clock. It has been like that ever since. I don’t have any issues with things spawning.

In the screenshots you can see it says 3:48 pm, but the moon is out.

Originally, I thought it was just visual, but it seems time is different for certain things. I can collect all my chests and then have new ones spawn before 12am and then by 2pm the next day I won’t have any new chests appear. Some things are normal like the grow times for crops, but other things are off.

Platform: Nintendo Switch (handheld mode) Issue: Lighting after dark. Several biomes, including the Glade of Trust, the Forest of Valor, and the Sunlit Plateau are all but completely black once the sun goes down. It makes tasks such as gardening and foraging for resources almost impossible in the evenings. The lighting on my switch is cranked all the was to the brightest setting, so it’s the game that is the issue. Please work to resolve this issue to save our eyes when we play at night!

Issue: After the color palettes for the character customization were changed, it seems that my character's previous makeup design has fused with her face. The blush and eye shadow are the exact same value they were before the update, but if you look at the settings it appears like my character has no makeup. And adding make-up makes her face a lot brighter than it should.

Issue: Ursula literally bends over backwards to talk to you by the Dazzle Beach bridge This seems to only happen when she is over at a certain spot (example - if she is closer to the side of the shore you are on, she will probably be fine... maybe) - I tested talking to her from the other side of the bridge and she still bends over backwards. If you talk to her on the bridge (depending on certain positions you are standing in and angle you are talking to her from), it is zoomed in on her face and out of focus or from the side profile on her back or perfectly fine.

The camera is automatically changing angles while I am running or using any tools. I have to constantly readjust the camera back to the angle I need it to be at. This has made it difficult to water my crops because I can't see the ground or the plants that are highlighted for me to water. It is mostly just really annoying and inconvenient

Issue: Male-presenting character will not look directly at the camera while taking selfies, regardless of pose—he always is looking eerily to the side and also sort of just looks creepy and possessed.

I’ve tried every single facial expression, pose, and default and it’s always sideways and creepy looking.

(Female-presenting characters seem to be fine. I’ve gotten loads of cute selfies, and she looks at the camera when appropriate, etc. This issue is only happening with my male character and I’ve tried restarting the game, reopening the camera app, etc etc etc)*

In case anyone hasn't seen it yet, to fix the graphics issue temporarily on Series X you go to the sound settings and press the X button. It reverts the sound options to default and if you never messed with them to start with it won't change anything but it will put you back at 60fps. Keep in mind it will randomly drop back down to 30, just go back the settings and repeat that method.

This means it’s impossible to look up recipes or ingredients because the menu will keep scrolling down as you’re trying to make a selection and eventually not allow you to scroll at all.

Issue: Game launching in a very tiny window.

Hey! My friend is struggling to get her game to launch correctly. It launches in a small window like in the photo attached, and there is no way to full screen or do anything as it's impossible to see. This happened shortly after her avatar froze in game and she had to hard close it.
She uses an ASUS laptop with no extra monitors, she's tried uninstalling, verifying files, running as administrator, and trying just about everything else that has been mentioned previously involving this problem. I appreciate any help, thank you!

Issue: not quite sure how to describe this, but sometimes the trees appear to be more solid than most objects. Trees will often knock my camera view out of the way, or its like the camera "gets caught" on a tree when I move past it. In furniture edit mode moving my camera too close to a tree will often knock my camera into a different biome. And when I'm inside my house and rotate my camera through the wall I can see all the trees and bushes, but no other objects.

Issue: characters are constantly teleporting away. I’ll pull up the map, locate that they are inside their house, as an example, but as soon as I enter it, they’re gone. I go outside and pull the map back up and they’re clear across the map at the restaurant, fishing or just socializing. It makes tracking them down for quests so hard sometimes.

Donald just did this to me three times. It said he was in his house, he wasnt. It said he was in the restaurant. He wasnt. It said he was back at his house again. He wasnt. I dont even care anymore. I’ll wait to finish his quest when i hear him freaking out somewhere.
This is not isolated but ive noticed it happening a lot more within the last week or so.

issue: for most conversations between npcs (so, the popup dialogues they have) there is an issue wherein if you stand close enough (between or just in conversing distance of them, like for quests where you have to listen to conversations), their dialogue popups are not always visible. i have had to rotate the camera until the dialogue has popped up and this has occasionally meant i missed the dialogue altogether because i didn't realize it was continuing while i was seeing only one side of the conversation (usually the angle will allow you to see one person talking, but for some reason the other person's text will not pop up at all and will be completely invisible unless you turn the camera, which often makes the other character's text invisible)

PC Steam. As far as I can tell, telling the game to V-sync works as expected, even at high refresh rates (200 Hz in my case). However, turning it off seems to not actually turn it off but instead actually set V-sync to 120 Hz. This leads to significant stuttering whenever I try to use another program (such as Discord) on the same screen while the game is running. I would like an option to truly have the game's V-sync off (since I have a max frame rate set in the driver anyway).

Issue: it's been about 3 weeks since the issue started but my character stutter steps or slows down despite having gold stamina I reported it like three different times but I haven't seen it on the board of issues that need to be fixed. It really makes the game unplayable and I'm really nervous that it won't be fixed in time for the update which means I'll have to suffer through slow running speeds and the characters already move slow enough.

Issue: 60fps was enabled two patches ago, but then was disabled last patch & still isn't fixed in todays patch. I can go to sound settings, hit X for default, and for some reason that makes my game 60fps vs 30 but I have to redo this anytime I enter or exit a building/interior. Can we get a patch that just enables 60fps on next gen so we don't have to do this work around?
