Issue: Quest Item Stone Soup double stuck in Inventory. After crafting a second Stone soup because I was to quick with crating it the first time, I thought I could either eat, sell or gift the second one, but I cannot. I cannot move it to any of my chests. It's just stuck in my inventory now, taking up space.
Issue: I also still have the feather for donald's quest in my Inventory. How do I get rid of this?

If you go to your quest log, there's a summary there of each unlocked companion and it outlines what you need to complete to unlock the next quest. I believe his last quest is with Ariel ("A Friendly Exchange") :))

My problem is that at the start of the quest "The Language of Flowers" Minnie was supposed to give me a Flower pot, however my inventory was full at the time and the game didn't give me the flower pot at all. It disappeared fully from my game. I've done everything I can including even talking to Minnie, but nothing is working.

I dug up the spot by Remy and got the recipe for Fruit Salad, but it isn't registering and still asking me. I've tried talking to Mickey again, but he keeps on saying the same thing. I can't even unlock Minnie cause I can't level up Mickey until I do this first quest

Ok so there's this quest where I have to get an Orb from the here and there or something, the inbetween world ||where Mini was stuck in||. You have to offer up a few things for Ursula to be able to complete the spell, and one of them was Kristoffs ||love for Anna||, where there's a whole series of quests dedicated to getting that back. Another thing we had to offer up was our own ||magic||, yet there's no quest dedicated to getting that back, you just get it back at the end of the quest, silently, lol. For me that kind of feels like a plothole tbh..

Issue: After catching 10 fish with Donald, the player is to follow Donald to where he saw a catch fish. No golden ripples appeared in the sea and so the quest cannot be completed. No other fishing spots are available while the quest is active.

Hello everyone! I am still having issues with cooking the glittering fish pie from the feels like home quest. I baked the first glittering fish to make the pickled herring and I’ve fished for hours to find another for the fish pie. Any work around? Playing on the ps5.

I had gathered the ingredients to restore the Dawn Fragment as asked, then I cooked it, now it still is asking to cook it. The fragment is already restored and since there is no way to restart a quest to get another fragment I cannot do the quest and am stuck.

It can take anywhere from 1 to 5 days to be harvestable depending on how much you watered it that first day.

I was working on the quest “The Heart of Dreamlight Valley.” I went to “get to the fountain at the top of the castle” and it prompted the next point, which was to look for the missing piece of the heart of dreamlight valley. I found and interacted with it which put it into my inventory. It then seemed to glitch and restart the prompt to get to the fountain and did not register that I had the missing piece, though it was still in my inventory and could not be found anywhere else. I of course could not give it to maui or drop it. I tried restarting the game, but it had already saved and now the quest is stuck and I cannot move forward no matter how many times i bring the missing piece back to maui at the fountain. I just put in a support ticket, but reporting here too.

I was also on the part of The Curse quest where you meet Ursula, Merlin, and Kristoff in the cave so he was stuck in there. Their icons should all show up on the map still when they are in the cave. I didn't realize I would have to try to progress on that quest to finish my other one so I didn't bother to go in there.

System: PC I have been having an issue with items needed for quests are suddenly very hard to find, for example I needed a needed a bunch of mushrooms to upgrade my watering can and now the only spawn one or two mushrooms a day! Also when I needed a lot of hard wood. Same thing with Minnie's quest for flowers, suddenly I couldn't find them any where. I found a tip online to use the f key to go into areas I cant access to pick the things I needed.

After gathering all the components for this quest, I crafted the Rustic Tower. I spoke to Minnie after that and the quest changed from "Talk to Minnie" to "Craft a Rustic Clock Tower 0/1". Has not changed to reflect that I have already made the tower.

Now I'm stuck on the Peacemakers quest, it's time for me to listen to Moana give Maui the oar, but she isn't going to give it to him. Issue: I need to collect the water from frosted heights, but the problem is that the glittering spot had appeared some time ago without the quest and I interacted with it. It gave me a Vial of Freezing Water with a quest marker on it but no icon showing whose quest it was so I put it away for later. Now I know it was for this quest but since I already have it, I can't collect it again and it's not registering I already have it. So I'm stuck. This isn't the first item like this either. I also have "Conspicuous Book" at home that is for another quest not yet triggered...

Edit: today when I loaded the game, the sparkly spot popped up and I was able to get the water again. So I guess that issue is resolved. Time to check Wall-E's light bulb...

Issue: Once you complete the quest that requires SPOILER

Kristoff to give up his love/memories of Anna…He still talks about Anna? So I assumed he got his love back after I restored the orb (cause you get your powers back etc). But then when Anna arrived you have to tell her Kristoff doesn’t remember her. And then I have a convo with Kristoff and he talks about her. It just doesn’t make sense story wise and is confusing. Sorry if this was the wrong thread for it but I wasn’t sure else where to speak on plot inaccuracies.

Issue: After completing tasks in the quest outside the Mystical Cave there is a cut scene where after this plays you must take a photo and this is where the glitches occurs. I cannot move from this spot and cannot take the photo to proceed.

Note - I can access the menu and map and am able to use fast travel to other locations but the camera view is still stuck as if to take the photo and cannot press X to compete this nor change out of the camera view (eg change tools)

Quest: Anna and the Stone Soup

Issue: I have seen this else where as well but cooking the stone soup without collecting the ingredients first soft locks the quest and makes it impossible to give Anna the soup you've made.
If you don't pick up the ingredients first, you stop being able to pick up rocks with the A button as well. As the game thinks you've made the soup but the quest does not.
I managed to get a fix around by shoveling the rocks but still have one rock soup forever stuck in my inventory.
I've noticed other missions also follow this same pattern, where if u skip having the items in your inventory and craft or cook straight from storage the quest doesn't progress.

I’m stuck with two quest issues that won’t let me progress…

Issue#1: “The Ritual” quest. I opened my inventory and placed the flower down right in front of the cave and it disappeared. Now when I open my inventory the flower no longer there but it’s still telling me to plant the flower near the entrance. I tried closing the game and going back just in case, but still no luck!

Issue #2 “A friendly exchange” when WallE went to first talk to Ariel, she dove off into the middle of the ocean where he couldn’t get to her. I have been trying for a week now to get them to talk. I’ve made him my buddy when she’s near shore, I’ve repeatedly asked him “let’s go see her” and nothing. Even when they were right next to each other they wouldn’t talk.

Issue: Unable to complete Elsa’s “What Home Feels like Quest”. The quest required me to cook two recipes, “Arendellian Extra-pickled Herring” & a “Fish Pie”. I was asked to get a Glittering Herring for the recipe but I didn’t realize the Glittering Herring was for the “Fish Pie” and ended up accidentally using it to make the “Arendellian Extra-picked Herring”. Then once I got to the fish pie, I realized THAT recipe was asking for the Glittering Herring. I’ve tried fishing again to get another one but seems like that’s just a one-time thing for the quest. Any way to rectify this? Would love to be able to complete this quest!

@vast owlI saw ur bug report about Wall-E not talking to Ariel to exchange the gifts. try moving items & houses off the shore where wall-e is standing on the beach. He should be standing on the beach waiting to talk to Ariel. If she still doesnt talk push him closer. he doesnt need to follow u, he will go there on his own.
i just had this problem and found a report and someone elses reply that said the exact thing i just told u and it worked.

Is there a certain place I should be to get the photo? Am I somehow at the wrong castle? When you have a house on the beach in the water near to the cave the quest won’t work. Move the houses away a bit and probably the quest will continue as Wall-E will go talking with Ariel at that spot on the beach.

Issue: Not enough resources spawning. So many quests require certain objects (flowers, mushrooms, etc) that don’t respawn quickly enough. Using this quest as an example. Ive waited two days to finish it, assuming the mushrooms in the forest would respawn…NOPE. Maybe one or two, but certainly not enough to reach 25 quickly. I’m now resorting to “cheating” by going into build mode and dragging the resources from the side of the biome I haven’t unlocked, to the side I can reach. I guess it doesn’t respawn much because the game acknowledges all the resources on the “blocked” side…but it’s not fair because I literally need those resources to get it unblocked. Sorry if this is an incorrect thread but it’s a problem with many quests where I’m stacking up quests because it’ll take me days to finish it, hoping something will spawn in on the side I can access.

I made the mistake of cooking the fish pie with the glittering herring too soon since I already knew what ingredients went into it. And now it will not let me cook another quest fish pie as I’m unable to get another one of the magic vials that goes into it.

However the quest is stuck here, and won't register that Pua has been freed. As you can see there are no night thorns for me to clear. I'm doing the Frozen world quest and this is going to sound weird, but I made the rock soup without physically going back out to the valley because when you go to a stove, you have access to your full inventory of food and I have a bunch of basil and oregano stored up.
I grabbed the three craggly rocks and made the soup but the quest got stuck on "Gather basil and oregano". I thought that was weird but I figured I'd just make it again and just pick up the rocks and remake the soup. Nope. The second I picked up the herbs, once I got back to the Frozen world, I couldn't pick up any of the rocks nor could I just give Anna the rock soup already. Why is this a thing?

I just came here for this issue, I never mined emeralds but talked to Merlin and he acted like he enchanted the feather. Did you just go into the Dark Grove anyway to get Donald?

Issue: On the Maui "demigod of sun and moon", He asks me to fish "where the island used to be", however the spot was spawned right next to the ariel boat and won't let me fish it out (i.e. everytime I try to cast, my character shakes her head)
EDIT: After embarking/disembarking the raft several times, the spot did move, however it initially still did not let me cast into it. I had to embark/disembark again to be able to access it and fish in a VERY specific spot. Even though the soft reset fixed it, this issue should STILL be addressed.

Update - so turns out the shard appeared back up at the top where your house starts. The shard may not spawn at the boat but where you gave Moana the materials.

I had a really funny game crash. I put the orb in a pillar while playing on the switch. Thankfully it didn’t screw up the quest too much when I restarted. But just as the bright light shown and the character shielded thief eyes the game has an unexpectedly closed error.

But it does bring up a general questing issue I’ve been having. If the game crashes, I tend to have to do steps of a quest over that I’ve already have finished. And sometimes even the items I collected are gone from my inventory.

I'm not sure if it was from Merlin's or Elsa's quest needing the water from the Frozen Heights but one of them did not remove the item from my inventory after I completed it so I have an extra. I also noticed the Shimmering spots are still there but I dont want to investigate them and get more items I can't use. (Both the quests wee able to be completed no problem, it just left a copy of the item in my inventory)

Hi there, you will need to find ||a special memory|| in order to lock the quest in question. Also his FINAL quest hasn’t been in the game just yet.

Focus on Kristoff's quests. Eventually he will upgrade his store and then he has a rotation of rare items that sometimes includes iron ore. The best place to find iron from my experience is the Forest of Valor but I also found it a grind for a while!

The confirmation screen to give the warmth of summer potion is stuck, once it finishes the quest and I have to move on to the next part nothing responds anymore. I can't click give or cancel anymore, and esc., tab., etc doesn't respond. Relogging doesn't work, it seems to not save the progress so I keep having to re-offer Elsa the potion and keep getting stuck on the confirmation screen.

Update: I think it's fixed, might have been an issue with the game not properly syncing.

Issue: When doing so, character freezes. Cannot move, no menus can open, only thing left to do is close out of the game. No progress can occur with this quest. Have tried in multiple areas of the map and by moving the time capsule to different areas of inventory prior to opening.

I'm having a similar problem, except I grabbed the flower in my inventory, it disappeared in my hand, and now it's acting like I never placed it but it isn't out anywhere either. So it keeps telling me to place it, but there's nothing in my inventory. So frustrating

Quest: Remembering Old Times
Issue: Crafting the Clock Tower did not complete the quest. After gathering all the items for the quest, and being prompted by “craft the Clock Tower” quest state, I crafted the clock tower (as seen next to me in the screen capture) but after it was crafted the quest did not complete and is now showing that I need to gather 30 iron ingots. This quest is already too grindy, I really don’t want to have to gather literally all these items again. Side note: at least half my items were in chests at point of crafting if that helps develop a fix.

I’m stuck on this part of the quest and the book is gone. I can’t move forward in the main storyline because of this. I'm very annoyed. I was doing the Elsa Realm Quest to make the Stone Soup and already got the ingredients and made the soup. But then realized the game doesn't "realize" I had Oregano and Basil already before I made the soup. So I went back to drop and pick up those ingredients but now the rocks won't spawn again for me to make a new soup, and my existing soup doesn't register as being made already. So now I'm just stuck unable to do the Elsa Realm and progress.

I’m at the part in the quest where you follow Eric as he reunites with Ariel. He’s not going to Ariel at all, and does his own thing. I tried hanging out with Eric and bringing him to Ariel, but he won’t talk to her. I even tried closing the game and opening it again, but it didn’t work. Does anyone else have this issue?

This typically means that at one point you had the required number of items but have since used them for something else. Do you actually have all the seeds required?

Try fishing or a selfie to get them to get closer, making sure there is space for them. Stupid slow mode means I had to wait 30 mins before I could try to tell you this, so I hope it works.

I approached the part of the quest where Eric asks you to catch a nautilus, I went to Remy to ask him to make the bait and applied the bait to my fishing rod. I then went to the place on dazzle beach where Eric said I would find the Nautilus (where the river meets the sea) and instantly cast out into a gold ripple and caught it. However the quest won’t progress even though I have the nautilus in my inventory and it has the quest sign on it. The quest only tells me to catch it even though I can’t because Remy can’t make me the bait again. There also aren’t any ripples.

issue: i collected the 3 craggy rocks needed for the quest and already had 1 oregano sitting in my inventory but no basil. i know that when you cook you're able to access all your ingredients placed in any storage chest, so i skipped getting the 1 basil and cooked the stone soup at the pot in the frozen realm (which i know doesn't follow the instructions given for the quest but i tried it anyways). cooking the stone soup didnt complete the quest and i still had to get 1 basil. i went to go get the last ingredient and the quest changed from collect these 3 things to cook the stone soup using the 3 things, even though i already had the stone soup in my inventory. after going back to the frozen realm, i noticed that the craggy rocks were no longer spawning (probably because i moved onto the next phase of the quest), so i am unable to cook the stone soup and cannot complete this quest line. hopefully there is a way to fix this in the upcoming patch so that the craggy rocks continuously spawn until you finish the entire quest line.

Im on PC, and here is my Problem: I wanted to make the quest from Anna where u need to cook the stonesoup for the stonegiant, first u need to collect 3 special stones and oregano an basilikum, then cook it. what i did, was only collecting the stones and then just cooked the soup but it didnt count the other two igridients what forces me to go into my village collect them, then the quest to cook everything showed up. However im not able to do so because my stones are gone and no more are spawning.The soup is in my inventory. Now im stuck in this quest because of that and i cant get along with anna and elsa, what is really upsetting. Hope u can fix it. Greetings

I just want to let everyone know, I saw someone say how they solved the problem and it worked for me too. WALL-E: The Garden quest wasn't working the first time I tried to give him items, but once I recrafted everything and bought more of those seeds, then when I went to talk to Wall-e, he took the items and I was able to complete the quest! Thank you to whoever figured this out.

So I'm stuck at the point where we have to go to the fountain and then go look for the piece in the valley, however, I found the piece in the forgotten realms before i got to this point in the quest. So, now the game doesnt recognize that i've found the piece to move forward the quest, and everytime I leave the fountain to "go look for the piece" it resets the quest progress and tells me to go back to the fountain before telling me the same thing in an endless loop. I've tried restarting the game and making sure the quest is selected, Maui is with me, and both pieces are in my inventory when im at the fountain, but nothing changes.

For everyone who asked if I found a fix for the breaking the ice quest where Elsa was inside the cave before completing the quest - finally after three days she went out for a walk and I was able to talk to her and complete the quest. I hope the rest of you also managed to complete it 🙏🏼
