Getting "transaction could not be completed" error on one of the items in star path preventing me from progressing it. It seems to be a synchronization issue with the backend as the game did reduce the tokens for the bugged item after redeeming another item else that I did get correctly. This should be a top priority issue for the devs as this is preventing many people from progressing and finishing the star path. I would also urge you to extend the star path duration due to all these bugs with the pass (not just this "transaction" error).

I bought the founders pack by epic games and activated the star path. After the update my star path is disabled. I lost the money and I can't buy again because it shows an error in the purchase.

Before the update my star path stopped working and wouldn't allow me to make any transactions, after the update my star path has reset and is prompting me to unlock premium and buy rewards I already own. I wasn't refunded so I dont want to buy premium again
Switch. Star path had High- boot incredible suit which I bought. Next time I went in, the suit had changed to low-boot Incredible suit. I had to buy it again to open the last reward and then I didn't have enough moonstone to get it. So I bought the currencies not realizing it was 200 moonstone I was spending to get 175 back. 🤣

I will be 10 balls short I believe as my game crashed and I lost 10. I need 55 to get everything but currently only have 2 more tasks worth 45.
I don’t even have the tab my event tab on the switch says no events at this time check back later.

Before the update i had premium but couldnt buy more than 6 items because i started to get transaction error all the time.
After the update my premium pass is gone. The few things i claimed are still in my inventory but my moonstones are gone. IDK about the pixar balls because i dont remember how much i had before this issue.
You can't buy the last thing after you're done with all challenges, you're short a few points

Star path isn't giving me enough duties to finnish page 1-5 I have 105 balls left to get and to finnish I need 115 and to get the last reward I even need 126. So im missing 20 balls .🙃

I bought the Incredisquirrel reward and it says collected but it never showed up in my inventory and there is no way to buy it again. ☹️ Figures, it's the reward I wanted the most!
If you have unlocked pg 6 on the Pixar Fest & are stuck - The difference between the 2,500 path vs 4,100 path is the extra 100 Pixar Balls. If you bought the 2,500 path here is what you need to do. Click the Buy Currencies button & find the 100 Pixar Balls for 1,600 Moonstones pack (last option). Then use the 100 Pixar Balls to buy the last reward 10x. 175 Moonstones 10x = 1750 Moonstones. That will give you a gain of 150 Moonstones. The math equals out 2,500 + 1,600 = 4,100 so we are not paying more than if we had bought it that way from the start. Hope this helps 🤞
Xbox series x: I got the moonstone from the deluxe edition when I purchased the game, used some of the moonstone to buy the star path, today I get on and instead of still having somewhere in the neighborhood of 12.5k moonstone I only have 420, not sure where where went but I would LOVE if this got fixed so I can get them back.
*Edit: I also have had an issue where cloud save hasn't functioned in over 3 days, the Game reverted an old cloud save and I lost over a day of progress and still haven't been able to save to cloud. Wondering if that's where my moonstones got lost in translation? I bought this on switch and played a few days on that then started playing from cloud on my Xbox series x.

I bought the star path and claimed most of 1st page, I couldn't claim the squirrel or any other item past it (aka stuck on first page). After the update my star path premium went missing and I didn't get the moonstones back. I can prove I had it before because the now locked items are still in my furniture or motifs. I have screenshots to prove. I sent a ticket to support but never heard back. I'm afraid of playing the game and messing up with the Star Path or something :(

Issue: I had just fulfilled the prerequisites to claim one of the duties for the star path and when I clicked on the button to claim it, the loading icon spun for ~10 seconds, then a message popped up telling me that I'm offline. I've clicked the "Connect" button several times now and the same thing just keeps happening — 10 seconds of loading and then the same message.
Edit: It's now working, but it was a persistent issue for five whole minutes.

I had a similar thing happen to me yesterday when trying to claim a Blue Chest worth 10 Moonstones. It gave an error about me not being online & asked if I wanted to reconnect. I was never offline though so I thought that was very strange. I clicked yes button (or reconnect can't remember exactly) & it spun for about 30 seconds. After that the chest popped open. I would bet these are slow server issues & hopefully GameLoft can fix these ASAP.
Glad you contacted Customer Care. From my experience playing GameLoft games they don't reply over the weekend so hopefully you will hear back tomorrow. Keep those screenshots since they usually ask to see them.

Star path in this context means the battle pass and I agree these threads are a bit confusing. You can post on "Questing issues" thread to get your issue noticed (which I think many people have had and the devs are surely aware of it). On that note they really need to get on the star path issues asap or at least extend the duration until they have fixed them
This happened to me too, and I never received my moonstones or furniture either. Did you?
I have heard this being an issue for those who do not have their device sync'd with real time also.
I have been unable to claim this duty and it’s associated luxo balls for about 4 days.. (ps4)

There is information on this. I'll see if I can find it or if anyone will provide the link; however, my understanding is if you have to go backwards you have to wait for that period of time for crops and other things to respawn.
If you go forward in time to get to the current date, there is no issue.
For example, if you have your date set to October 18 2022 (1 month ahead) and move the date back to the current date then you would have to wait one month for the game to sync up before things spawn and act normally.
However if you have your date set to August 18th 2022 then you could just move it forward to today's date and there would be no issue.

They have stated that "time-travel" errors will not be a priority because it is an unintended gameplay aspect.
So it may be the best to restart if you don't want any weird errors etc. However, it's ultimately up to you with what you want to do.

You are actually short 100 Pixar Balls because you can buy the last reward 10 times. It depends on which premium pack you bought. Check the guide & it explains what to do - #1021080430889406494 message

So I did fix mine , I went into my switch settings to see if my time was synced. And it wasn’t. I turned it on and bam I got everything back.

Switch- I have nothing under my events tab
From what many of us discovered, the 175 moonstones from the final tab is only redeemable if you have extra Pixar balls from purchase. This is so you do not get stuck with extra balls.
There has not been an explicit announcement and many of us have submitted tickets.
It would be nice if there was a description on the final tab stating this reward can be redeemed multiple times and that extra Pixar balls are only obtained through purchase and not via quests.

Is your Switch set to irl time? If not that will mess with the event. There is a guide about what to do if you time traveled/system is not on irl time. Basically it is NOT recommended to do this as spawning of multiple items & events are effected. If your Switch is on irl then contact Customer Care.
My switch is not irl time. I haven’t TT since I got the game. Can I turn it to real life time and it not mess up my game?
I have not tried this myself but there is a guide about it. Also the people over in dreamlight-help channel are quick to answer questions if you want to ask there. I think it depends on how forward in time you are now.
If you bought the 2,500 path you should have enough Event Duties to complete pgs 1 - 5 rewards & unlock pg 6. If you ran out of duties before unlocking pg 6 contact Customer Care. If you are just stuck on what to do on pg 6 then refer to the guide.

So I started on Xbox with the basic founders pack giving me 8,000 moonstones. I then purchased the ultimate edition on switch taking me up to 20,000 moonstones. Now I've been playing cross-platform for a few days with no problems, but today I logged into my Xbox and it says that I have 5,000 Moonstones I can only assume that it's a glitch and showing me what is left from the original I got with Xbox but I'm worried I will not get back the moonstones that disappeared. Anyone else with a similar problem?

Well hopefully they get back to you soon as this is a time limited event. Keep your screenshots & maybe we should suggest they have a separate contact for event/time sensitive bugs. I know they don't ever answer over the weekend but it is now Tues.

Issue: I used cloud save to move my Switch game (where I purchased the Ultimate) to my Xbox to avoid game crashes. I logged on today and noticed that over 90% of my Moonstones are completely gone. I'm missing around 15,870 😦 Super upset and confused how they just up and disappeared.

I just want to say thank you. I have been searching the internet high and low for information like this and you fixed my issue. My time was synced but not the date, due to animal crossing. Thank god I was only jumping forward though. Now i can see the star path and finally use my moonstones so im incredibly happy 😊

Moonstones are platform specific. If you pull your save back up on your Switch the Moonstones should still be there. Okay that makes sense but I tried logging back into my Switch and now it reports the 2100 moonstones since that's the new Cloud Save... So how will I get them back???

This seems like a Customer Care issue now. How I read the info is that the Moonstones should remain on the Switch since they are platform specific. When you load your save there you can use them. see 😦 If I accept this it seems like it's only going to register the 2130 that the xbox thinks I have. Even that number is off though which makes it weird. I have NO idea where that number is coming from. 8000 (from my basic pack on xbox)-4100=3900. I haven't spent a single stone. I've only earned them.. I earned 2000 in Path rewards on the xbox plus the 100 or so from chests so on the xbox it should say around 6000. There's something wrong.
After thinking about it a minute the 2,130 is the Moonstones you earned during the Event plus the Blue Chest drops so that's where that number is coming from. What you need to know now is where are my Moonstones from my Founders Pack?

Issue: I try to work on the path, but my game disconnects from the internet without telling me so I can’t progress without constantly resetting the game, because my internet works fine on everything but this game.
I'm not trying to be snarky... that math doesn't add up to me. I originally played for 1 day on the xbox. I got the Basic pack which came with 8,000. I spent 4,100 to have the 6 duties at a time. That's 3900. After a day, I bought the Ultimate on the Switch... Had 20K, spent the 4,100 again. Earned 2100 in Rewards and chests.
So if the Moonstones from the Founder's Packs do not register that's fine... but the earned rewards and chests do that means on the Xbox it should say 6,000 (remaining 3900+2100). On the Switch it should say 18,000 (15,900+2100). I literally do not understand where the 2130 comes from. 😦 I have only earned all my rewards on either platform. I have not spent a single moonstone on Luxo balls whatsoever 😦
Are you saying you did the event twice? You would only earn the rewards once. I would need to go back & count how many Moonstones you can earn & then you can see when the game released & count up the days you got 10 Moonstone from the Blue Chests. Something seems off that you would have to use Moonstones twice to buy the event premium. I hope Customer Care can straighten this all out.
oooh. I shouldn't have sent that. I get what you're saying (you message before last). And I wish this wasn't "slow mode" lol And yeah no I get that you can only earn the things once. But that's what I'm saying. If the rewards and chests DO cross-platform that's where I'm getting the 2100 (now specifically 2130). 2000 from rewards (this is where I'm at in the Star Path) plus 130 in Chests. So the 2130 can move from place to place. BUT now as I showed in the picture, if I try to reboot my Cloud Save on the Switch it only shows that I'll have 2130. Like it's going to overwrite the 15,900 I had on there with my Ultimate 😦 Does that make sense? All the numbers were confusing my and yes, on the xbox I shouldn't have what I originally said, but on the Switch I still need my 15,900 that I'm afraid I'll lose if I bring up the Cloud Save.
Yes, that picture doesn't align with the info they have on the support website. On your Switch you should have all your remaining Moonstone minus the 4,100 you spent on the event plus the 2,130 you earned. I would also question them why you have to spend Moonstone twice to open up the premium. Are events platform specific too?
Yeah I wonder since I definitely had to do it twice. I'm thinking maybe the pop-up on the Switch it saying the 2130 will be what's transferring over and essentially added to whatever may be on the account. Know what I mean? I mean at this point I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. Either way it's either 2130 on the xbox or 2130 on the switch and they need to fix something if my 15,900 isn't there. I'll help.
It worked!! Thank you for walking my through this tonight. So I guess what it shows (in my case the 2130) IS telling you the amount that will be moved over to whatever platform you're trying to use the Cloud Save from.
hey i spend the 2.100 to open the premium path but i wont have enough pixar balls for the last tab, do i have to buy balls or i shouldnt? will i have enough for the other 7 seasons if i do this?
This is probably just me being paranoid. But my Nintendo switch is actually set back a month earlier and because of this it says that the pixar fest event ends in 50 days. I thought it was normal until I saw people make posts which say it will be over in 20 or so days. The reason I am worried is because I fear that when the next event comes up I won’t be able to play it or get anything from it at all. I was able to get everything from the pixar fest just fine however since I’m a month behind I fear if I may miss out on the next one. I want to time travel to the correct date but I am too scared because of the consequences.
If you could have it set up so the star path is not connected to the time on the switch but more to the time that it actually is online that would be much more helpful and I think that would be a safe way to avoid any problems.
If not then maybe you could make the game much more time travel friendly so I can set the time to a correct date.
I do not want to rush you but since I am so worried about missing out on any cool stuff for next month I would really appreciate if the issue is looked into before the next star path event begins so I may be able to participate.
Again I have no idea at all what would happen if the next event starts while I’m still 50 days behind. I don’t know if it will stay on the pixar fest until all the days are done or if it will automatically change into the new event when the actual times hits. Sorry I am just super anxious about this.

19 d left on the pass and still many breaking bugs. I can't get more items nor do duties because "transaction could not be completed". Support and communication from the devs really has a lot to improve. I left a ticket over a week ago with zero response.

Star Path Premim items can be bought at Scrooges without buying Premium Star Path...should be patched or buying Premium is useless.
Moonstones are locked to the system they were purchased on...earned Moonstones are shared between consoles. I'm assuming you bought Ultimate on one and Standard on the other. You more than likely bought the Star Path on the system you bought Standard on.

There should be the exact amount of points from the duties to complete pages 1-5. If you do not have enough points to finish pages 1-5 and you are out of duties then something went wrong and you should file a help ticket.
Before the patch I was missing 10 points for the fireplace but it wasn’t awarded. The patch fixed it for me so I received the missing fireplace.
Time travel prevents the star path from showing up.
Some people were able to get the star path to show up by correcting the time on the device, but there are lots of things that go wrong when you time travel.
Going back to the correct time may or may not fix those problems. It can take a day or two to correct itself, if it does correct itself at all.
Edit to say that the star path is located in the events tab, you are correct.
I have yet to catch a glittering herring to move on with Elsa. I take my level 10 fishing companions to the glade every time it rains and I fish every spot until the rain ends and I have not caught any glittering fish.

I started playing with the xbox pass but finally purchased the game on steam (standard edition, so I could keep my cloud progression). I finished the Star path two days ago and this morning I saw that I lost like 5000 moon pieces (not sure about the name, I play in French) : I remember I had like 7000+ pieces and only 2000+ remain. What can i do to reclaim my lost pieces ??
So... just read that the pieces are locked to the consoles... will they be shared when the game will be officially released ? I don't want to pay a game pass (until the free game release) or have to switch on my xbox version only to use my moon pieces, it's kind of annoying... I used my game pass to try the game (I had like 20 days before the end of my trial), didn't think it was going to create that kind of issue
The Moonstones are platform specific when purchased. The Moonstones you earned during the event & those daily blue chests are transferable. You earn 2,000 during the event & however many blue chests you open x10. So now 2,000+ is showing on Steam version but if you load back up on Xbox the others will be there. Hope that helps 🤞

Issue: Before the update i couldnt claim rewards (transaction error) and since the update my access to premium was revoked but my moonstones werent refunded.

Im afraid to lose the chance to get the items and lost my moons since the days keep passing by and i didnt read anything about this issue from the devs.
I know theres a lot of bugs to work on, but it would be nice to have an updated known issue to at least know. Currently the Known Issues on the Gameloft page says its only a visual problem only that it's solved by rebooting the game, it's not.

Did you use your cloud save & switch between platforms? I'm asking because Moonstones are platform specific. I was chatting with someone couple of days ago who used her cloud save & she said that she had to buy the star path premium on both devices. I let her know about Moonstones being platform specific so she loaded her save back up on the 1st device & found all her Moonstones she thought were missing.
No, i only use PC. I buy* the game on Epic and i only play in that account in the same PC.

Ok, I recommend take screenshots so you can document what is going on. When Customer Care finally replies you can reply back to the email asking more questions. I'm sorry that you have been waiting days on a time limited issue. I've been playing another GameLoft game for 4 yrs now & this is definitely something they need to work on. There should be a team who helps only with Event Bugs & fixes things quickly since we are only give a limited amount of time to complete these Event Duties.
The screenshot thing is weird because is like that chat conversation about taking a picture from the object you didnt recive 😅 Either way i think they can check the transactions looking behind the curtains on the game.
As you said, it's a shame not having a response in a time sensitive issue and more so, one that involves real money. If this problem isnt resolved it will be hard to trust future star paths.
I think it will be resolved eventually, but it would be nice to have a confirmation from the team that it's accounted for.
I think they ask for screenshots so they can better understand what is going on & in this scenario can see how many Moonstones are showing in-game currently compared to how many you should have 🍀

Issue: “The requested transaction could not be completed.” Paid 10 stars for 175 moonstones. Did not receive moonstones, stars weren’t deducted. Bought 175 moonstones again for 10 stars. 20 stars deducted, only 175 moonstones received. I’m short 175 moonstones.
I would file a ticket but I’ve already filed one for a major bug (Scrooge shop missing). So not too sure what to do with this one.

I spent moonstones on the premium path and the 100 credits. All of my credits disappeared and I no longer have access to the premium star path. Additionally I am unable to purchase the premium star path at this time. I'm on Epic on PC.
PC - looks like I'll be 10 Pixar balls short of unlocking that last level of moonstones in the Star Path, as there aren't enough quests to cover all the rewards 😦

I sent a ticket about my premium star path missing on the 15/09 and haven't heard back. I'm afraid of playing and messing with it. I bought the premium and before couldn't claim the rewards, now rewards are locked aka premium gone and I didn't get a moonstone refund. Pls help
Does your date and time match the actual current date and time?
Yeah I thought my Switch was synced via internet, but turns out it wasn't. So I've now turned that on and it fixed it! But I think the game now thinks I time skipped so it's 'frozen' until it catches back up.
Just got done telling someone. To go to their switch settings. And sync your time in the Date and time settings

I just went to claim some more of the event items with Pixar points and it said error and then my star path disappeared along with all the progress I made on the event.
I play on the switch and this is my first time playing this game so I have no cloud data to upload. I paid 70 usd for the moonstones and I was able to use them for a while but suddenly I no longer have internet access. I pay for Nintendo online just like everyone else and I paid for those moonstones and would very much like to use them. On top of that I can’t claim the blue chests that spawn in my valley so they’re stuck and I have to design around them.
I cant buy the premium pass for the pixar fest. What can I do?
I’m on Switch. First I couldn’t redeem the points for completing the task to gift Rémy. Quitting the game and reloading gave me this error. I’m connected to the internet on my switch and am able to access other online services just fine. This should be top priority and I agree with others that the duration of the star path should be extended. I’m shocked this hasn’t yet been addressed as I’m seeing tons of other players with these same issues. This is incredibly frustrating, especially considering I paid for the ultimate edition of the game.

Okay I was wrong, I can't save to the cloud. It said my game was saved locally but it couldn't be uploaded to the cloud. I'm definitely connected to the internet so this is not a me issue. I'd hope upon hope that if they were doing any server maintenance or whatever, they'd send out an announcement. But who knows? There's been a suspicious lack of response on everything.

Switch: Have the same issue. When I go to turn in a completed task it is disconnecting me and giving the same error. I tested the internet connection on the switch and it says it is successful. I was hoping to grind out the star path today but this has stopped me dead in my tracks.

I'm playing on Steam; I keep getting "you're offline" notices when trying to view the Star Path interface. 😦 I am able to access anything else on my PC internet-related (since I am actually connected)
Yeah i have the same issue that you have on switch, i am on PC (steam) so i think its a server issue and not an us issue.
It appears they’re aware and may have fixed it by now, but the devs did not make a widespread announcement. There was something posted by them in #no-spoiler-chat

Sold 50 Garlic for points yesterday, game bugged saying i couldn't reddem, logged off, logged in and the quest was gone with no rewards. Soon after, the game couldn't connect. Finished the Star Path still 10 points short to claim the last item (moonshards).
I can open the blue chests but I have had nothing in my event page since buying the game and starting 3 days ago. I can see briefly when I open a chest I have over 20k moonstone. My husband who just started playing tonight, however, has the event page and everything he should.
I am playing on the switch {i have not tome traveled at all}. I had access to the star path and the moonstone chests until yesterday. Now it says I am offline. My switch is connected to the internet, but I do not currently have the nintendo online membership active. Will I need to activate it to be able to access the star path or is it a bug. I do not play any other online games at the moment, so I dont really want to renew it. 😓

Since beginning the game, the Star Path has been unavailable to me. I've got something like 40-50 hours into this game, and I have never been able to unlock Pixar Fest. The event tab tells me nothing is available. I'm actually quite disappointed as I feel like I'm missing a huge part of this game, especially since I purchased the Ultimate Founder's pack. When I open a blue chest, I can see my total of points that are available... just have nothing I can spend them on!

Purchased Premium a few days ago. This morning I had a sync issue where my profile hadn't updated from local to server for about 12 hours, after it synched back up I no longer had premium unlocked, and all my unlocks were gone. Even worse, I tried to re-purchase premium and got an error that transaction could not be completed. Even more worse.... after I logged out and came back in a few hours later, premium is still not unlocked, but it took my 2,500 moons for the 2nd purchase that said it had failed (I'm still locked out of premium)

i bought the 2500 pass but i was made to pay 800 to unlock all 6 tasks slots. I didn't know that apparently the extra slots should of been unlocked at the 2500.

Issue: Moonstones are missing?
Ok, not too sure what happened or what's going on but I'm missing like 20k in Moonstones. I had been playing on my switch but after getting tired and tired of it crashing and me TT for animal crossing messing things up, I reverted the time back to Real Time, saved to the cloud and then loaded my cloud data on my switch.
When loading the cloud data, it showed I had 8k+ in Moonstones but now, in the event tab, it's only showing 120 Moonstones. I'm not sure exactly what happened??
Could it be because I own the ultimate edition on my switch but I'm playing through Game Pass on my Xbox? If so, I don't mind buying the ultimate edition for my Xbox when I get the chance. I just don't know what happened to make my Moonstones go poof.
Moonstones you bought are platform specific. If you load your save back up on the Switch it should show your 20K Moonstones. The 120 Moonstones that transferred are from daily Blue Chests you earned during gameplay.

I’m getting a transaction could not be completed error after collecting all the requirements I think it was cooking 30 meals. It shows that I am complete but will not give me the reward.

Just saw that in the announcement, how are they not extending it for at least a week or two for those of us who lost progress or can't play due to cloud save issues.. Disappointed tbh.
I don't know but they really need to extend it and fix all these issues from lost progress to the "transaction could not be completed" issue. I don't want to support a developer who doesn't have the common decency to fix these time sensitive bugs. Really, really disappointed. Their support is also clueless and doesn't even read the issues. I wrote about the transaction issue and got a reply after 3 weeks that they had fixed an issue where star path items could be acquired elsewhere in the game. Jesus christ...

Issue: I haven't really had any issues completing the "duties" for the Pixar Fest event until today. I was working on the one to sell 50 garlic. I sold 49, saved and quit my game, and then when I came back my count was back to 0 out of 50 again.
What led up to this issue: I did save and quit after I sold 49 garlic, so maybe something happened there that reset my count when I started the game back up.

Completed the Star Path with no extra Tokens to buy the last 175 Moonstones. Or, I could spend 200 Moonstones to get 10 Tokens to buy the final 175 Moonstones in the current Star Path. 😂
So there's no acknowledgment about the star path issues? Wow, wasn't expecting that.
I've assumed it will be a priority being a time sensitive and monetization related thing. I know there's a lot of issues and bugs to fix, but i don't understand how this is not a priority issue.
There's still some days left so i have a little bit of hope...
And BTW i've sibmited a ticket and only recived an generic (and pretty sure automated) response. When i respond asking for a real human response to the issue i didnt recive anything. I dont know whats the plan for the future here if time sensitive and money related issues are ignored.

Likewise, just to shout into the void here. I submitted a ticket for an issue over two weeks ago I believe.
Like others, I have purchased my star path, had the currency removed from my account, even bought a couple of star path premium items, and then the next session it removed my premium star pass, didn't return the currency and now I also cannot purchase it w/o an error message.
I haven't received a reply in my email yet, either, aside from the autogenerated "we see it" message". This is pretty frustrating considering the Star Path is a limited time event.
Is your friends Switch set to irl time?
Moonstones you bought are platform specific. When you load your save to Xbox the only Moonstones that transfer are the ones you earned during the event (2,000 if you did all the duties) & the ones from Blue Chests (10 Moonstones a day). I logged in and noticed that thousands of Moonstones were gone from my account. I had around 8k but now they are gone, the daily 10 keep getting me to 730 but wont go higher than that. I have not purchased anything with the moonstones so it must be a bug. Very frustrating since I was hoarding them!
My issue resolved itself the next time I logged in. The category was gone and my rewards had increased.
Moonstones you bought are platform specific. My guess is you have loaded your save on another console/pc. If you load your save on the original console/pc the Moonstones should be there. The only Moonstones that transfer between systems is the daily Blue Chest reward or any Moonstones earned during the event.
Switch: on mine, it says i am always offline so i have to click to be online with the event, even if it goes through, it won't allow me to collect quests done or collect rewards, it will just make the sound of collecting but not actually collect it

Platform: PS4/PS5 So I recently upgraded to a PS5 and my Star Path for the Pixarfest event won't update (I paid moonstone for the expanded path). Its getting down to the last few days and I'm getting worried I won't be able to claim everything in time with this issue so I'm hoping it can be resolved sooner rather than later

I can't access the events tab because it won't connect online for me, still. Was able to set up a cloud save account on title screen but never able to save to the cloud, access the blue treasure chests, or see the events tab. Did anyone get a solution to this?

Not only that, you'd need to PAY 10 points to be able to get the final reward, who is worth LESS than what you'd pay for 10 points ? Not only is that the opposite of good incentive for all the time put into this, but I also feel frustrated and cheated. That's not on guys.

Did you by chance use your cloud save & move to a different device? The star path might be platform specific just like the Moonstones.
The guide isn't a "temporary fix". Page 6 isn't meant for those that bought the Standard Star Path. When you pay for the Premium Path right off the bat, they give you an extra 100 Luxo Balls. Page 6 is to spend those extras we were given. The issue is the two paths weren't explained well enough and honestly Page 6 shouldn't be shown to those that purchase the Standard Path to avoid confusion. So by you going in and following the Page 6 instructions as linked above, you're essentially buying the Premium Path but at the end. The amounts end up being the same.

My point still stands tho, this 'feature' is still incredibly flawed/poorly implemented even with your explanation. I got the standard Star Path (It already seemed icky to me to pay that much moonstones for 100 extra points at the time), and to me there's no justification why Standard path should not have the last reward available either, we paid for it too after all.
Being forced to "buy the premium" at the end to be able to get the final reward feels very icky and makes me question why give us the choice in the 1st place.
It's that simple, if you have content that is paid for in a game, the rules need to be clear and fair, the rewards good incentive, and the execution in game needs to be good.
None of this is the case with the Star Path at the moment, hence why, I still hope they revamp all this.
You're not paying the extra 2500 for 100 extra moonstones. Buying the Premium Path got you exclusive rewards, a more open earning track, AND the moonstones. It's the same as buying the different Founders Packs. Each pack has different rewards, this is no different. A lot of games that have Battle Passes have two different earning paths... it seems like you're just not familiar with this style of game.
I would imagine this is part of the star path as well. but when I did the cloud save from switch to PC my moondust or moonshards (not sure what they are called) didn't carry over but the star path did as well as the ones I completed (like the little quests for it). I completed the star path but I am missing out on the 17k moonstones. Cause I did use some to unlock the who thing.
The moonstones will be paid with real money eventually, so I'm seeing it from that perspective (so later we will be paying for extra moonstones). And yes I am not familiar with games with microtransactions and such (money pits), and I won't be the only one, which is why the Star path thing needs to be clearer and better implemented.
For a player to go through the grind of collecting every star path items to get to the final reward, just to be stopped & have to research a stupidly convoluted work around, that's not good, like I said before, I felt frustrated & cheated. On top of that it's gross that the final reward demands 10 points to get 175, when buying 10 point demands you to pay 200 moonstones. Why in the hell would anyone sensible do that? The problem is fairly obvious to me.
Y'all can argue and be defensive all you want, that doesn't change the fact that there are some issues in the game that need to be changed and/or improved on, and this is part of them.
Moonstones are console specific. Only Moonstones that you earn as rewards or from chests move around. When you log back into the Switch, all of your Moonstones from the Founders Pack will be there 🙂

It's a PREMIUM PATH REWARD TAB. We paid extra Moonstones for that tab. You're upset that you don't have access to something that you didn't pay for. It's weird.
You bought the Founders Pack on the Switch, correct? If so, all of your purchased Moonstones are there waiting. Unless I have your cloud save backwards but either way, what I mean is that your moonstones are on the console that you bought your Pack on :). You're not losing out on them. When you go back to that console they will be there. Say you see 20K on the Switch but 100 of those were from chests. When you go to PC you will only see 100. You earn 50 more on the PC and it says 150 now. When you log onto the Switch it will show 20,050 because the 50 you earned on the PC also move over. Does that make sense?
well at least they are on one console. I am just upset that I paid for the founders pack on 2 devices and its like why did I bother. But hey I still have all the other items so I can't be mad there. I love my candy croc.

I'm not 'upset that I don't have access to something I didn't pay for' thank you very much (which btw I did pay for the Deluxe edition and the premium Star Path), I'm merely criticising the implementation of a paid for feature. People ARE gonna pay real money for moonstones, the way the feature work is important. It's not explained clearly at all that there are 2 different paths, there's no logic why one path should get the final reward and not the other one, just make it different rewards, with clear explanation beforehand of what we're getting. And top of that the reward doesn't match the price you pay for when buying that amount of currency.
I'm sorry if I'm not good at explaining (english is not my 1st language), but there's no need to be that defensive over a game, it's a corporation product you know, and it's also a given that some features need tweaking, especially in early access 🙂
You are not short. Tab 6 is for those that bought Premium Path only, not the Standard Path. There's a guide above if you want to earn those and extra rewards. 🙂

No I bought the Founders pack on both PC (steam) and switch. I paid for both. Thats why I was wondering as to why I don't see them on my pc.
Each console would have to have its own Cloud Save account that you linked if you were able to buy it twice. If you bought your Founders Pack on the Switch, made your Cloud Save, then opened said Cloud Save on the PC then all your Switch info is there and you wouldn't have the ability to buy the Star Path again.. all your current progress would show. So I'm wondering if you have two different cloud saves accidentally.
I know you meant the Star path, I was just highlighting the fact that I paid for enough of content in my opinion to unlock whatever is accessible in game. And I uploaded the pictures specifically for that reason, look at it, it doesn't match (You can clearly see it takes 200 moonstones to get 10 points, and the reward costing 10 points gives you 175 moonstones). 🙂
You keep saying that 'I don't get it', but I read the page 6 guide you linked and your responses, I perfectly understand that there is a work around to not lose that difference in moonstones by buying the reward several times.
I'm sorry but you're the one not understanding my issue is with the whole feature as it is now. The Star path should be better explained, and the rewards should be better incentives. As a bit of a 'collector' and 'completionist' in games, that is incredibly problematic.
I thought this server was to raise concerns and issues we have so the devs can have some real feedback on how to improve the game, that's all I'm doing.
I can see how you are confusing things. I really do and I've tried to help over and over. It's really pointless now. The developers have ignored the same "concerns" because it's not an issue for them since the paths are explained. The tab literally never goes away.. ever. Even after I spent my extra 100 Moonstones. It just sits there and I can purchase more Luxo Balls over and over to my heart's content. If someone chose to do the regular path, not seeing the value in the Premium which is valid at this stage of the game, they then have the option at the end to pay the extra rewards and Tab 6 rewards. The Moonstone amount is NOT extra. It aligns with the Premium Path. So normally for 100 Luxo Balls it's 20K Moonstones but for your first purchase it's 2100 (I believe) which then gives you exactly everything you would have had in the beginning had you done the Premium Path from the start. You turn in those 100 Luxo balls for 175 Moonstones each so in the end the entire Star Path only costed around 350 Moonstones. The math is there. No one is being shady or anything which is why the developers haven't touched on the subject. It's simply a misunderstanding about how it works.

I didn't mean to start arguing about things, and now that I know the devs do not intend on fixing this, I guess it is what it is. Highly disappointing in my opinion, the math might 'be there' if you go through this whole method, but it still looks shady in game, and it still remains incredibly confusing and really unclear (and btw sure it ain't your fault it's confusing, but the devs could definitely make it less confusing). And now I guess I feel like maybe all these different currencies are making it even more convoluted for players.
We can agree to disagree I guess, I just can't help but feel this system still needs to be worked on, and I really hope they do.
Switch: I purchased the deluxe founders pack and should have 14,500 moonstone - I only have 280 which were earned in the Pixar event and from chests. Cannot unlock any premium levels due to not having enough moonstones. I claimed my founders pack and have all the items except for moonstones.
Did you use your cloud save? Moonstones you bought are platform specific so If so go back to the original platform you bought the Moonstones on they should be there. The blue chest Moonstones transfer so that's probably the 280 you see.

I replied saying rest assured I have absolutely turned my game on and off in the two weeks that I have been waiting to hear a response & went over a couple of other things I did to fix it. I honestly would have rather waited longer for an actual response / fix than this. I totally understand that it's in an EA phase and there's bugs, that's a-ok, but this + no acknowledgement on the fact that despite unlocking it with moonstones that are now gone, I haven't been able to gain any of the premium items in the BP has been pretty disheartening. :')
I don't use cloud saves so I'm not sure but maybe the Star Path is platform specific like purchased Moonstones. If you load your save back on the original console is your Star Path unlocked?

I feel very frustrated that nothing is being done about the Star path issues. I luckily completed the Star path but had to completely restart my game one time because the Starpath wasn’t working. I restarted my game now for a third time and luckily my Star path items have been saved to my account but I’m so terrified when the new Star path happens I won’t beable to access it and will have the same problem 🥺

From my understanding if you load the save to how you originally bought your founders pack the Moonstones will be there. If you use cloud save the purchased Moonstones don't transfer, only the Moonstones you earned during the event or from those blue chests. See if you can just load your save to how you originally played.

I have posted before (when this issue first occurred), but now that the event is ending in a few days, and my problem was not fixed, i thought I should post again. I bought the game on release day and bought the Premium for the Pixar event for 2500 moonstones. A few days later, the game updated and my star path both reset and removed my access to premium rewards and duties, yet my moonstones are still gone. The few premium rewards I unlocked when I had access still remain in my possession, but the entire rewards page reset. Is it possible to refund me 2500 moonstones, so I can buy it again? I have not bought any additional moonstones but have received them here and there from blue chests.
If you want a response from GameLoft you need to submit a support ticket. The turnaround time is 2 weeks so the event will already be over. In my opinion they should refund you the 2,500 Moonstones since it's obvious by the # you have now that you already paid to unlock premium. The problem with this is you miss out on the Pixar Items so you need to decide it you want to unlock premium twice get all the rewards & then wait on GameLoft to do the right thing with your initial refund.

So the Pixar event doesn’t let me purchase anything so I can’t participate in the event. All I get is transaction cannot be completed. . This is absolutely ridiculous considering the event ends in 4 days

That's unfortunate. I get that it's early access but whats the point of doing a time event if some of us can't even do it. My boyfriend has it on PS5 and is completing the pixar event with no issues, yet on steam I can't do it. I really hope they extend the event

I did, I don't know how fast they respond but I feel like I won't get one until the event is over. The sad thing is I had no issue before, unfortunately the last 2 and a half weeks I've been swamped at work, now that I have 3 days off, I can't do the event

Switch. I purchased the premium star path and completed all the duties, but do not have enough points for all the awards
On Steam PC, I'm 3 duties away from completing the star path, only to realize I'm short 10 luxo balls to claim the last reward. Why would you create one less objective than it takes to complete the whole thing? I see others have had this same issue and clearly the star path is not worth the premium path if this is the case.

I completed premium star path but there weren't enough balls to get the last reward of moonstones and Im not paying moostones for balls when the reward is less moonstones than I paid.
Is there any reason that people are getting premium Star Path exclusives in chests and bags? Bit unfair on us who paid for the exclusives and used Moonstones - will we be compensated with a different exclusive as an apology?

There is a guide for the 2,500 path players because it gives them an option to buy 100 Pixar Balls for a discount price of 1,600 Moonstones. They would then use them to buy the last reward 10 times getting 1,750 Moonstones gaining them 150 Moonstones#1021080430889406494

Ive noticed that ive been stuck on 14,205 moonstone since downloading the game. Whenever I open a chest for 20 moonstone, it doesn’t add onto my existing total. Also, I claimed some on the Pixar event and they haven’t been added. Not playing cross platform btw

For this event if you completed all the Event Duties & followed the guide #1021080430889406494 then it ended up costing 350 Moonstones to get all the premium rewards. But then we get those daily blue chests that give 10 Moonstones so I'm almost back to having all the Moonstones I started with. I hope they keep the pricing similar for the next event 🤞

If she put it back to irl time the event should show immediately. Problem would be with spawn rates trying to complete the tasks.

So I followed the guide to do the extra 100 pixar balls trick and my moonstone total is at least 200 less than what I started with, including the additional small increments of 10 moonstones I'd pick up from playing. If I started with 20,000 and only picked up maybe about 110 extra moonstones from random chests, my current total is 19,810, which means an overall loss of about 300 moonstones. Why buy the premium path if you come out in a deficit? (I may have picked up a few more random chests, which would make the deficit greater)
If that's how it's going to be, they should only charge 2000 for the premium path, or increase the moonstone gain
They have to make money on this game somehow. The premium rewards ended up costing 350 Moonstones for this event if you did all the Event Duties & used the guide for pg 6. However if you also logged in every day for your daily blue chest for 10 Moonstones you would be almost back to having 20K again. Hope that helps.

I know Apex Legends charges 950 of their premium currency for their premium battle pass and that grants 1300 currency, and that game makes plenty of money on the rest of their cosmetics. I'd rather spend money knowing I'm not being cheated
I don't feel cheated because I got premium rewards that you don't get unless you participate in that path during the limited time event. I read that soon you will also be able to buy cosmetics with the Moonstones, it will be a separate shop. You don't have to buy these but if you want to you can.

Really, I played on my PS4 sometimes & had the event. Is your PS4 set to irl time?
It doesn't work . Cant do it crash in less then a minute . I cant decorate . I cant open a menu even if im outside . They know this and still they sell this . While its knowing thing .
Look in ps4 bugs read back . You will see .
It might be less of an everyone problem though because I play sometimes on my PS4 (switch between my PS5) & yes I got a few crashes but I could still do the event. Did you submit a support ticket?

They might not answer but they are receiving the replies. I read it's at least a 2 week turnaround time on tickets so when you reply they probably don't see it for 2 weeks 😮 I hope they make it right too.

Already contacted the support like 2 weeks ago and I'm afraid I won't make it in time anymore - but here's my issue:
I bought the premium pass, bought some of the rewards, and then my premium-pass disappeared. The premium parts are locked again, but I still have the items in my inventory, and my moonstones are still gone. I completed all the tasks, got the 500 Pixar balls in the end - but can't buy another premium pass now. So I can't finish the event. Already bought all the "not premium"-rewards... 😭😭 😭
Someone on YouTube all ready debunked this. Yeah you could do it, but it’s still a net loss on moonstones whether you buy the 100 balls or not.
It ended up costing me only 350 Moonstones for the premium rewards. I'm unsure what you are trying to debunk. This guide is what to do on pg 6 to earn 150 more Moonstones than if you stop & don't do these step. It's your choice to use the #1021080430889406494 or not.
I like how you worded that. “What I’m trying to debunk”. Because what I actually said was that someone on Youtube debunked it. They did the math and showed how you lose more moonstones than you gain. I’m not being confrontational, don’t word it in a way that makes it seem that I am. All I said was that someone else debunked it. Just because it is contrary to what you are saying does not mean that I am inciting confrontation or calling you out for being wrong. You are not wrong- It IS a method one can do, I never said otherwise, but I mentioned that someone else debunked it by doing the math in order to warn people or give then an option whether or not to try the method out. Whether or not they do means nothing to me at the end of the day, people can do what they want, but I was trying to be helpful.
Link the video. The math is simple so unless they bought the wrong thing which is possible by doing the steps in the guide you get 150 more Moonstones than if you don't.

Lost my premium pass, cant buy it back, lost the moonstones used... I like the game, but if this is how they choose to start i dont see a bright future ahead. Glad i bought it because It gave me a lot of fun, but i would not recomend people buying the pass after this. In every F2P game I play and like I always buy a pass o whatever monetization thing they have to support the game, har to do that in a game that doesn't take care of his paying customers.
100% agree! Customer Care on limited time events needs to have quick replies. GameLoft Customer Care is always slow in my experience. I have been playing another game (DMK) for over 4 yrs & this is what I have the most issues with. Issues on limited time events should be prioritized or even have staff to just work on these issues. It effects being able to complete events sometimes for people. I hope you get your items mailed to you or something like that to make it right 🤞
Hi.. I bought the Ultimate Version on Switch, so i had 20.000 Moonstones. Bought the Starpath and finished all the quests and had 18,975 Moonstones. All fine but then i bought the game on PC (because of the very frustrating issues on Switch. I used the same Cloud and the window from the Cloud Save shows that everything is right (including the Moonstones). But in game it shows only 10,475 Moonstones - so i've lost 8,500 on PC, but on Switch are still 18,975. 😦
So the Moonstones you purchase are platform specific. They will not transfer when you use your cloud save on another platform but when you return back to the original platform they will be there. Since you purchased it again on PC it would depend which Founders Pack you bought as to how many you get there. If it was the standard pack that come with 8,000 Moonstones. It's confusing because the Moonstones you earned during the event 2,000 + 1,750 pg 6 = 3,750 plus the Blue Chest daily 10 Moonstones will transfer. I have completed all my quest. I have not received the dress for Minnie or the backpack for Wall-E. I am also having trouble friendling the last 4 critters. They each have had their favorite food at least 4 to 7 times. Thanks for your time...
Just wanna say that not only does synchronizing the time to the internet help me see the star path, it also improved performance so much and stopped crashes! Things still aren't spawning for me but it honestly was so worth the reset and I know the game will be worth the wait ✨ tysm!
I have never been able to unlock premium starpath. I play on PC - Epic and I try to unlock premium multiple times a day and it just never works, constantly get "The requested transaction could not be completed" My cloud save is on and working. Just really annoying that the event is due to end and I have never been able to claim the premium option. I sent in a ticket on 25th Sep but so far have had zero response 😦

For what I read on this thread over time it's seems to be something specific about playing on Epic. I had this problem since the last update an other users also.

That's correct, whichever platform you buy the Star Path on will be where the Moonstones get taken. The other platform Moonstones should be unaffected.
I'm playing on Steam and have the same problem as well.
My star path says it has 31 days to go as I am a month behind on my switch but cannot adjust it to the correct time as it will absolutely destroy my game. Please try to fix the time issues as soon as possible so I don’t miss out on the rewards for the next star path, I’m having a bad panic attack over this just thinking about missing out on it over this issue.
So... The Star Path ended and we never got an answer or an acknowledgment of the issues. I'm wondering what was the point of this forum. Just a placebo? A void to throw our problems? This is really weird.

That's odd, I've only seen it not show when the console is on the wrong time. Maybe choose the option to sync time instead of manually changing it.
4 days to claim the items says on the page. I have all the tokens and the game doesnt let me claim anything because my acces was revoked. Still no answers anywhere.
The motif you are on says collected. Can you try to collect the 100 Moonstones & then the Banner? Once you collect those it should unlock pg 2.
iirc, you can't move on to the sequential stages until you unlock at least 3 items. I believe once you unlock the Moonstone and Banner, you should be able to move to round 2 of goodies.
Yes i know, but the problem is the game remove my premium and didnt let me to buy it again so i can get those items. I've already redeem the free ones since the screenshot, but i cant buy the premium ones because the game revoke my access. 😮💨
Platform Nintendo switch: Pixar fest still available. In events it says Pixar fest is still going on even though it should have ended days ago and there's still blue chests available. I don't time travel and the switch is on the correct time and date
Me too! I tried it but it didnt work either (has been on auto sync sinse too! Sinse the second or so day the game came out on the switch)
The event ended but you can still spend your Pixar Balls for a couple more days. The daily Blue Chests for 10 Moonstones will always be available. It's a way to earn Moonstones playing each day instead of having to use irl money to buy them. I read there will be a shop you can buy cosmetics with your Moonstones & they are used during events to unlock the premium path & items. Hope that helps explain it.
I am quite certain I had more than 8K moonstones, but when I logged in this morning that is all that remains. I am seeing a lot of reports in the Dreamlight Help of people whose moonstones have disappeared entirely.
After todays update and saving in the Cloud etc. all my Moonstones (21.000 about) vanished. Now I have barely 2k left (which came with the update).
The 20k were part of my founders pack purchase and I'd very much like them back. I can't even afford the premium starpath now... because I lack the moonstones.
Please give those of us who lost them, their moonstones back. 
After the update the game isn’t even showing my moonstones anymore nor is it even showing a menu for the Star path (on ps5)
Platform: PC via Steam. Completed the task clear 30 night thorns and did not get my reward upon clicking claim. Instead game kicked me into offline mode. Took a couple tries to get back into online mode and then the task was gone w/o giving me the pumpkins. Update: I got kicked out of the game while typing this and suddenly had my pumpkins when I relogged. Glad I got them but still weird
On PC, Steam: Im connected to the internet but my game says I'm not. Also, I cooked 20 meals and went to get my reward but then it blanked out, said I had no connection and the task is gone but no reward

I just had it kick me offline, I have been playing online since the update was installed, I completed one of the star path tasks and as I’m doing the task it informed me I was now playing offline and I can’t reconnect

Collected event duty reward but game froze for a minute and kicked me to offline mode. Back online now and quest is gone but I got no currency from it 🥲

Villains star path - tried to get pumpkins from cooking 20 times but my connection went and now the duties gone but I haven’t got those purple pumpkin tokens
Updated the game and went to the event. As soon I upgraded it it lost connection. I restarted my computer and regained connectivity and was able to upgrade and started collecting night thorns and crashed. When I logged on again I was once again having connectivity issues. So I guess I'll lose connection every time it crashes.
Switch, Villain Star Path: Once I interacted with the star path (trying to buy the premium path), my online connectivity crashed and I was unable to access the cloud or the star path. Closing and reopening the game did not help, and this same issue happened to me for Pixar.
Xbox Series X, installed update and was able to buy the star path premium. Then it kicked me offline and says there is no connection. I can only play the game in offline mode. I assume this is server related because it's definitely not my internet.
