Hopefully this one fits here because I am not even sure what category it would even fit under? Switch player here.

When harvesting from fruit bushes specifically, suddenly my character will stop, run all the way around to the other side of the bush, then proceed to harvest fruit.
It seems to be a forced action. It's not joycon drift either because this only ever happens when I'm trying to harvest from the fruit bushes......

Often when I'm trying to scroll down through the Collections it'll stop going down through the categories as it has put me in a random spot within that category. For example if I try to go down from Critters to Fish and I'll suddenly be on one of the critters so I'll have to go back over to the category list to go down, then it will do this again in the next category. It's not joycon drift as this is the only menu this happens on.

I'm unable to cloud save to play on PC. The switch version is just too broken to use. I've created a cloud save account and logged in but the switch will not save to the cloud. I've tried the retarting the console and game, but after 10-15 times it's still not working.

This is an issue I’ve mostly run into in my Xbox. Sometimes when I pull up the map, I can’t switch to other pages like the collections or dreamlight page. I can’t leave the map either. It freezes all except for the map cursor. The only way to get out of it is to completely close the game.

Issue: More so just a spelling error I happened to notice. I’m assuming “minerals” and “tuna” are supposed to be capitalized given how these are supposed to be formatted. There could be more like this but these are just the ones that appeared for me. Didn’t notice until the second one appeared.

Issue: XP Bar and Energy Bar are pushed up ever so lightly every time I open my Inventory. This means after a few hours of playing that my XP bar will be pushed out of the screen and will not be visible. The same will eventually happen to the Energy bar as both are pushed up out of the screen.

Occurs whenever I select ordering costumes from Scrooge (ordering furniture is still working properly). The same glitch happens when i cloud save playing on Xbox so I assume it isn’t a Nintendo hardware issue, it is more of something on my save file triggers it.

When you open a door with a NPC standing right next to it the game tries to start a conversation with the NPC at the same time resulting in an UI deadlock. You can only quit the game then. (PC Steam)

Issue: I pulled out a thorn bush and lost all control of the game. This is the first time I have been in this area. I can't walk, open the UI, open menu. I have a mouse with 12 keys on it, which I use for the tools. These buttons are also unresponsive. The ONLY thing I can do, is rotate the camera by moving the mouse, and reset the mouse camera to the back of my character by pressing the scroll wheel button.

I'm having issues where a few characters aren't showing up on the map so it's making them extremely hard to find since 2 of them are Ursula and Ariel and they move a lot anyway lol

UPDATE: a quick and temporary fix is to just restart the game until it does it again. Just inconvenient.

Issue: Can't sell items, IE inventory says I have 6 soft wood so I click to sell six soft wood, then it pops up and says Error NotEnoughItems. Seems to be hit or miss on the same items consistently, but sometimes after reopening the menu 4 or four times one item will start working again but others won't. So far ive seen it on soft wood and herring as well as multiple types of flowers.

Issue: Fences and paths are not showing up in the crafting menu. That entire tab is blank, even though I have the brick road unlocked in the collections menu.

Also, I should have the asphalt, leaf-strewn path, and several other paths and fences unlocked, but they aren't showing up in the collections menu as such.

Other than that, I'm really enjoying this game thus far, so thank you and keep up the good work! 😄

I believe the cause of this error is that this screen loads so slowly that you can accidentally press the 'cancel' button in-between loading. Same thing happens if you pick up a memory and then hit B on the Switch before the memory page loads.

I was just doing Remy's quest, the Unknown Flavor and when I gave the Purified Night Shards to Wall-E, the screen to give did not disappear and I could continue the dialogue with Wall-E to make the quest progress. I force closed the game and it's gone now!

When fast traveling between wishing wells in town, the fast travel UI is stuck on my screen. I can’t back out of it, but I can keep traveling around so the game isn’t actually frozen.
I am able to travel between other realms and the town just fine, but when I try to go from Plaza to the Beach for example, it gets stuck and I have to restart my game and lose unsaved progress.

Scrooge McDuck needs to do better to sell his wares.

For almost a week I have seen the mannequin in the shop sitting in the same place each day at 4 am mocking me. Imagine my surprise when I see this tweet asking me if I've completed the set. No, I haven't but I'd like it if I had other options. There are hundreds of items in game and for 5-6 days have the same one "randomly" show up on a daily reset in the exact same spot is frustrating.

Issue: Can't use some items (so far: apples, raspberries, night shards). The game will not let me eat the fruit (nothing happens), if I try to move them to storage I get "Storage is full" even when there are empty slots, and when I try to sell the fruit I get "NotEnoughItems" (all one word).

Daylight Saving Time : the game appears to does not take DST into account. At my location at 9:50am the store has not reset and some NPC are still sleeping. I thing the intended reset time would be 9am (which is already much too late). (PC Steam)

Issue: The map, the wells all disappeared (except main). Once this happened when I zoomed in and out the characters moved at a different rate for the map - meaning you couldn't tell where they really were. You can see that the main well is out of place and crops are off the map.

issue: occasionally but not rarely, when on the collections page and im scrolling down the side tabs, it will get so far down before suddenly having selected a random thing in the middle of said tab, this issue repeats itself all the way down, something which causes it to be annoying to get rid of the red "new thing" dot.

Platform PC: Having an issue when doing an interaction (eg dig, remove thorns) and afterwards you are unable to use any keyboard buttons but the camera still moves. This has happened to me twice while playing and not sure If my keyboard is the issue or the game. I have had to alt f4 to close the game to restart.

Issue: There are 2 [Yellow Light Low Beach Torch]s in the crafting menu, one of which required a red Ruby. There isn't a [Red Light Low Beach Torch] at all. So I assume the one using the Ruby is meant to be red instead of yellow?

Platform: Xbox One Gamepass

Issue: Cannot select anything while in menus or conversations. For example: I can start a conversation but I won't be able to choose any options and have to use B to exit. Also cannot use items in inventory or craft or buy and sell things at stalls. The A button prompt to select on the bottom of the screen has disappeared. Have tried restarting game and console, sometimes this issue means I can't even access the game because the A button press is not recognised. This event only occurs in this game, controller and console are fine.

Menu issues…. So when I press + on my switch to get to the menus there it freezes … can go to any categories but can press B to exit … tried restarting game , waiting it out, and going in and out . It is doing it everywhere in my game so not a location issue. Also have been to multiple places in my house so not an internet issue … also have disconnected my switch from any internet and doing the same . Please help !!! Need these menus has I am trying to level up my characters and see my quests 😦 have it docked to tv in photo but tried handheld as well same issue .

Issue: I'm on Maui's level 10 quest, after cleaning the limestone at the crafting station. When returning the "Cleaned Up Limestone" to him, the confirmation window got stuck on the screen after selecting "Give". The dialogue continued in the background and I was able to progress the quest, but the window was still stuck on screen no matter what button I press. Had to manually close and reopen the game to continue.

Issue: Fence & Paving items not showing up correctly in the crafting recipes menu.
How I got there: Using a controller. I RB to the Fence & Paving tab and there is nothing there. I RB again and then LB back and all the items are there.
Workaround: 1) as described above -or- LB directly to Fence & Paving seems to consistently show the items to be crafted.

Haven't been able to reproduce reliably.
Seen mostly during quests after extensive playtime.

Upon giving an item to a character, quest objective completes but Give prompt remains on the screen. Only way out of it is to force close the game and relaunch - potentially losing progress back to last save.

Issue: I was decorating Glade of Trust (for Scrooge's quest to decorate), while standing in a different area, and when I try to hit esc. The UI gets stuck on my screen stuck in permanent, as well as it being it a forever saving state. The only work around is to restart the game.

Update: When she logged in last, the Dandelions were gone. SO it seems like they were dropped/sold, but the icon was never removed from the UI, causing issues.

Issue: For three times now my game has frozen on a screen and I had to force quit.
First was when I exited the cooking screen with Remy, the UI disappeared but the rest was like I was still cooking, except I couldn't do anything.
Second one was talking to Mickey. The greeting chat bubble got stuck and I couldn't progress or leave the conversation.
The last, right now, I tried to leave the room upgrade screen but it never disappeared. I could move the cursor and click but nothing happened.

I was trying to finish the village project: restoring the sunstone quest and my game glitched out so I cleansed the stone but the game didn’t register that I did it already but when I tried to cleanse it again it doesn’t recognize that it’s in my inventory. I need to restart the quest but I don’t know how or if that is possible without restarting the entire game as I am almost finished and really don’t want to have to restart

Somewhat same issue here, the game doesn't know where my crops are, and lost all my well locations on the map. You can see the main center well, but it's not in the right place and moves when I scroll.

NPC's actually update accurately, but when I scroll it has trouble finding them for a few seconds.

This was my first reset, I am over a week in. Everything was fine until I decided to remove/delete everything from in world except quest items, houses and harvestables.

The icons aren't scaling to the right locations when I zoom, they fly across the map.

This happens several times per session.
I'll open the map to fast travel but when I select a fast travel spot nothing happens.
The menu locks up for a second.
I close the menu.
When I reopen the menu and go to map, the entire menu locks up and I cannot close it. I can scroll around the map but cannot press any buttons or close the menu. Only option is to force quit the game.

This is the exact pattern every time.

Issue: I'm not sure where exactly to post this, however, it does seem like a UI issue? Ever since the previous patch, my mouse seems to get stuck in the center of my screen? It doesn't show up if I'm just moving (wasd movement) but once I try to look around, the mouse icon appears in the center of the screen and causes my game to be extremely laggy. I have tried to change the display mode but it doesn't fix the problem.

Figured it out! It was the Moana Ceremony quest. It wasn't letting me take the picture. Once I teleported out and restarted the game it finally worked and I've been able to move forward.

Yes I got it resolved thank you. I just had to keep pressing b to cancel taking the picture I’ve been playing the game fine now with no other issues other than still crashes sometimes.

Issue: The camera takes a trip to another part of the map before going slightly under it and returning me back to my current location 2 times for every 5 times I exit my storage. So, the last time it happened I opened my storage in the Frosted Heights and ate a meal to get my energy back. I closed the storage and the camera lifted slightly into the air and moved rapidly across the land to the Forgotten Lands where it slowed its movement down and "landed" before going slightly underneath the land in question. Then the UI returns to the place where my character is (no transit back or anything, just flash back to where my character is). Generally, this bug takes me somewhere across the map from where I've closed my storage.

I am an Xbox user and occasionally (usually when trying to talk to critters but sometimes when I am doing other things like exiting the map) the game will zoom out and back in to a completely random location, then snap back to where I am. Today it did that while I was talking to a critter and after I had fed them the game placed me at that other random location.

Just crafted the items needed for the Chasing the Wind quest, left my house, opened the map, clicked the castle to teleport into the Frozen realm, and when I teleported, the Fast Travel menu did not go away. Issue: While at a Crafting Station while you switch between Functional Items, Potion & Enchantment and Furniture the Potion Tab is empty if you switch to it from Furniture. Everything shows if you switch from it from the Functional Items Tab.

Issue: I can’t order anything from the catalogue in Scrooge’s store. I talk to him, put items in my cart, but I can’t seem to “checkout” or confirm the purchase. Is there a button or something I’m not seeing? Usually I use the options (hamburger) button on my controller to buy or confirm things, but I’ve tried that as well as every button and nothing happens. I can buy items in the store fine, just not ordering from him directly.

Issue: About once per day my UI will simply freeze up, typically when talking to an NPC but sometimes when tabbing through the menu. It’s like it’s waiting for the next trigger that never comes. Delays are common (5-15secs) for a menu to come up or navigation to prompt, but this is more in reference to a total freeze up. I can’t do anything in the game and have to restart the console, losing all unsaved progress

Issue: Might post in other forum too but it’s not really an issue with the actual progression of a quest or getting a task done-
When completing Ariel’s quest and delivering her workbench to her, she was in her house so I had to enter and walk over to the right side of the pool to speak with her. After completing the quest, I was unable to move away because the game trapped me with the location of her workbench. And, since we are inside, the menu does not allow for fast travel.

Issue: I used to have a bug where I would put the fountain and the celebratory banner but I would get no prompt of anything to take the photo. Today when I logged into the game it automatically put me in the place to take the photo and the UI to actually take it dissapears, no watter what i do or what button I press, I can't take the photo. I can't move from there, and if I teleport somewhere else I still cant move or do anything. I can't take the photo and it won't let me move or do anything until I do.

Not sure if this counts as a UI issue, but I was trying to open Goofy's shop on the beach, and I have Merlin as a following companion and Donald tagging along for a quest fishing in the ocean (A Fishy Dispute)

Attempting to open Goofy's shop just immediately exits, and removes all UI features, you cant hit escape or anything. However luckilly enough pressing M to open the map restores all UI functionality, but still posting to address it may need a fix

Issue: Video explains it all but the map will sometimes go into a glitched state of two stages. Stage one the map appears fine but you can’t interact with anything on it, so no fast travel. Second stage is here where the menu is just locked. Only thing I can do is move the blank map around, that only shows me, the castle and well locations.
Second time in a row it’s happened now. The only way to get it out of this state is to fully close the game.

Issue: Map screen unresponsive and missing visual elements.
I'm not sure if this is related, but I spent a minute observing the map controller sensitivity. I felt that the joystick sensitivity was too high on the map screen and I kept overshooting the cursor when trying to select an icon. It's not so bad when fully zoomed in though. After experimenting with the zooming on the map, I switched tabs, and came back to the map (shown in video) and the map screen showed missing elements. The controls were non-responsive except for the joystick(s?) themselves. Pressing the Windows key didn't fix this issue either (it solved one of my other bugs) I had to quit the game to continue playing.

As the video shows, these sections do reappear after some fiddling back in forth in the menu.

Issue: Can't escape wardrobe mode. The left side has disappeared and I when I click the Escape button, nothing happens. I'm stuck and probably have to force quick the game. Was working on a lot of clothing customisation and edits, but don't even know if will save any of it. All the hard work is probably lost now.

EDIT: After force quitting and restarting the game, it did in fact save my progress. So I'm really happy about that at least.
EDIT 2: It happened yet again now after I went it to customising an outfit again, so it probably has to do with entering customisation mode and creating or editing clothing.

Does anyone on PS4 have screen size issues? From the beginning that I'm playing UI goes outside the screen. In a lot of games you can set the screen size so that th UI fits. It's not possible here.
Anyone have this issue? Main menu is fine, the loading screen is not and in-game the UI is also a little outside the screen.
It's not my TV as all other games run fine and the PS4 home Menu is also fine.

Issue: I can't see the garlic from the Forest of Valor
In each of the other biomes, the foraged crops can easily be seen against the background colors of the area. Mint in the Frosted Heights, Oregano in the Plaza, Basil in the Peaceful Meadow, Mushrooms in the Glade of Trust, Vanilla in the Sunlit Plateau...even Ginger in the Forgotten Lands. But I cannot look into the middle distance and find any garlic because the plant color and the background color of the Forest of Valor are the same. If I am in very short distance to a garlic plant, I can see it and the surrounding dirt it shows up in. But there's no way to spot it and head for it easily, especially if you decide to keep the trees in the forest. The slightly darker grass v. lighter also makes it hard to spot. And, of course, if it rains you are out of luck unless you accidentally walk over the top of the garlic. If you are deliberately making garlic more difficult to access for game balancing reasons, it would be nice to make it easier to see and just restrict it's availability on the Forest.

Issue: When gardening and holding A to harvest multiple plants and one turns into a bonus spawn, my character will not be able to select the spawning plant and will instead try to plant new seeds. Consider making “plant” and “harvest” different buttons maybe? I also have a similar issue when holding A to plant multiple vegetables; the character will lag and take a few seconds to move on to the next available hole.

issue: the collection screen is super buggy. i honestly don't know how to describe it all. using characters for example, i try to see my characters and then it stops scrolling, and i can't go back and select critters. i'll be looking at the meals, and it won't load/scroll down to see the desserts, for example. it'll stay in the appetizers, and whenever i try to scroll down, it'll just me back up to appetizers. there's multiple bugs. overall, i can't really use the collection menu for anything. this is while docked and undocked. i'll scroll and then it'll lock up.

Issue: I’m in the “collections” tab and my game is getting stuck on “memories”. It keeps scrolling and scrolling and won’t stop. I can’t view anything else in that tab due to this issue. I have let it scroll all the way to the bottom thinking it just needed to load everything and lagged or something but that is not helping fix the issue.
Also, sometimes under the “critters” section, the page will get stuck and I can’t click anything. It just jumps around from critter to critter rendering detailed info like time of day or whether the critter is even here today useless.

Unable to access parts of the character wardrobe options. Specifically the facial hair options. Anything below the beard options are not accessible. In order to reach the medium beard option I have to go the middle option for “facial hair” then press down from there. Any movement in that row or attempts to scroll down below it will lose the cursor and all control. Have to press B to exit the menu and try again.
Currently makes it impossible to take off a mustache that I did not want in the first place.

PC ( Steam ) & played with a ps4 controller - The UI for 'Potions and Enchantments' is a wee bit off underneath the crafting table. The Dreamlight and purified light shard recipes appear fine when you scroll to the right by pressing 'R1'. But when you backtrack to the left by pressing the 'L1' button, they are suddenly not present. But when you scroll to the right again, they show once more.

Same problem present with a finger trackpad from what I've tested.

Yesterday I unlocked Anna and returned to the valley. Upon entering the valley the controls no longer worked and I had "welcome Anna" stuck on the screen. I closed the game.
Today have reloaded the game and I still have the writing stuck, my house has disappeared and the controls do not work.
The game is completely unplayable and I don't know what to do.

Issue 1: Giving items related to a quest (this has happened multiple times now with other quests too).
The picture gets stuck and I can't do anything, I have to force quit the game.

Issue 2: I had another issue before aswell, when I was gardening every button besides WASD stopped working and I had to force quit the game aswell for it to work.

Issue 3: When I added a room to my house everything got stuck and I could not exit the "store" to expand my house with new rooms. I had to force quit the game for it to disappear so I could move.

I was able to fast travel to the other realms at the castle to get out of the map above. However, afterwards, the UI as a whole throughout the game became unresponsive. I tried to go save so I could exit out and restart, but the menu never appeared and I was frozen in place. Characters could still walk around me, but I couldn’t move myself. Finally had to force quit to get myself out.

Issue: Red Counter Prevents Access to Chests Next to It
This red counter only allows itself to be selected in Furniture mode (you have to put it back into Furniture inventory in order to click things around it). When outside of Furniture mode, you cannot get the Open option when chests are against the red counter.

Walking down from the Forgotten Lands into the area with Donald's old camp, there is a huge rock with mastodon tusks. To the left is a crevice that is acquiring items that are useful in the game but are inaccessible. The rock acts as part of the landscape so I cannot move it.

‘A’ button doesn’t seem to work when I go to goofys stall. I can go up and talk to him every time but can’t select ‘sell’ or even sometimes the items I want to sell. The only way for it to work properly is to exit out of the conversation and try again until it works

Issue: sometimes when trying to craft it shows the fence/paving category completely blank so I cannot craft those items. Sometimes if I enter & exit a building it shows up, other times it just is empty for a while

Idk if it goes here but:

problem: after picking up a memory etc etc it suddenly gets stuck and you can’t go back nor do anything else..

Platform: Xbox

Issue: Furniture menu works fine until I place a piece of furniture. Then, in returning back into the furniture menu, moving throughout the selections gets all wonky. Sometimes it won’t move all the way over to the item on the very right, sometimes pressing down on the directional pad will actually make it move to the right, etc.

Workaround: Exiting the entire menu completely and then going back into it.

Not sure if this fits here and it won't be specific to a single version. The menu icons on the screen have caused burn in on my TV as they are so white and always on screen. If they could be dimmed or only appear when we stop or something along those lines it would be much better. The stamina bar also has the same problem but not as much.

Issue: After loading the game (press Continue) and spawning at the initial start point in front of the house, the UI is initially super choppy (easily noticeable when looking around). If I run into Scrooge's shop, the UI suddenly becomes fluid, and if I go back outside the shop, the UI **remains ** fluid. This is repeatable.

Issue: Every so often, when I open my map, I get stuck on the map screen. I can't click out of the map, fast travel, or go to a different menu screen. I am forced to force quit the game. This has happened to me 4-5 times.

This screen freezes whenever i upgrade in my house. This window gets stuck. I can press buttons and it makes noise but this window wont exit even when pressing escape. I have to restart the game to get back to playing.

Sometimes when I open the menu and click over to the map, the entire map blanks out and the game freezes. I am unable to use either my controller or mouse/keyboard to exit. I am forced to hard quit the game from Steam.

Issue: I'm currently doing the Burying the Eel quest. I had just placed the fish traps at the dock and went into Maui's house to talk to him. I decided to get the memory that was in there since I hadn't been in his house yet since building it and when I tried to exit from the memory, the menu disappeared but the memory stayed. I couldn't do anything except exit the game completely and go back into it.

Screen is gray-ish with Welcome Maui! wont let me move or go into the menu it's just stuck there. Tried restarting game and laptop. Still stuck. It happened just before the update. The welcome Maui! pops up before it even completely loads up.

Issue: Accessibility issue
Photo/Video: With the new update, all of the colors are off and no longer look the same - ie. Brown hair now reading as a red-brown. In addition, this now happens when you lose energy?? This is extremely disturbing and hard to visually watch every time you lose your energy. Please return this back to the way it was. This is absolutely not accessible, difficult to watch for people with vision issues, and this darkening/flashing of red is just discomforting. It looks like you're dying.
