Hi there! You can actually move this build (for freee) by going into your Furniture Menu and giving it a little nudge forward! Then you will be able to dig that spot 😄

I would like to report a game-breaking glitch.

On the quest "With Great Power," I planted the wrong plant and now there is no way to remove it.

I can't dig a hole on the plant, next to the plant, or anywhere in the room.

I can no longer progress.

platform:PC Issue: floating thing? idk what it is im not sure what to call it, i was digging with goofy to start a farm and he was sending rewards, and this one didnt process, its unable to get picked up, even when i reset my game, i went indoors and outdoors again too, still there and wont leave

Issue: I’ve just been doing the quest “An Icy Invitation” where Anna asks me to craft a shovel blade, telling me I’ll now have the ability to dig up tree stumps. However, I’ve tried and it’s not letting me dig them up. I was trying to dig in the correct place, at the end of the bridge in Forest Valor and have tried other places too with no results.

Also having the same issue with the upgraded watering can from the quest with Merlin. I’m unable to remove mushrooms

been having this issue on pc too thinking it was a bug but just found out you need to open your inventory, click on it and "use" 🧡 hopefully that helps and it isn't an actual bug

Issue: the shiny dig spots stopped spawning. Tried to restart my game. Waited more than 24 hrs no dog spots at all.

Yes I'll add a bit to this.
So it looks like if one digs fast enough and the item you just dug up has no ground to fall upon it will have a hovering particle there all the time even after the hole has been filled. and there's no way to pick the item up. ';/

Issue: Floating particle (Adding on to this same issue but with video, both time this has happened to me in the Glade of Trust though probably coincidence! I also posted this issue in visual glitches but since it happened again and while digging figured I would post here!) In reference to last time it happened, well warping away doesn't fix it but exiting and entering the save file does fix it. (Bad video will remake and send after chat cooldown)

Since the update I find it SO hard to gain enough night shards to make purified night shards for Eric's quest 😭 there's only like 1-2 digging spots per area now and I have SO many dream shards and little night shards when it takes more night shards to make a purified dream shard 💀

Issue: mickeys memory, trying digging next to Remys to find the Recipe and it was buggy. Couldn’t dig it up. Next time I went to play, location was dug and can no longer figure out how to get the Recipe to finish the quest. Is my only option to reset?

On ps4. Dig spot has appeared directly behind Scrooge's shop. Cannot dig it.

You can go into build mode and move his shop over so you can dig. I don't know what button build mode is for PS4 though

Issue: Was digging and Mother Gothel got in my way. She got pinched between me and the edge of the swamp and my character just started ceaselessly walking forwards, stuck against Mother Gothel. It's totally locked up, I had to restart the game.

Platform: Switch - My digging companion Merlin has not given me anything from digging. I have him at level 7 and I have yet to get anything, which makes me miss out on a lot of extra shards. I confirmed I have him as my digging companion.

I don’t know what to do with these and you can’t sell them.
Please let us be able to convert them to money. Please. They just clog up my storage chests.

Issue: Have been unable to dig a spot behind Scrooge's shop since I got the game when it came out. The area highlights for me to dig, but whichever direction I face it, my character shakes her head and will not dig.

You can move his shop on the build mode away from the pit and dig it up

Switch Issue: dig hole will appear right next to buildings and I can highlight them but my character will not dig them up. I click the button but my character shakes their head like nothing is selected

PC, when digging with Maui, he gets stuck in the way, and my character gets stuck in a walking animation.

Issue: materials lagging, then landing on dug holes. It doesn't let me pick them up automatically when they have the blue aura around them, and it does not let me pick them up manually, even when I remove the holes I dug.

Issue: sometimes dig spots appear right next to buildings and are completely undiggable.
One could move the building to move it, but they should only spawn in spots that are diggable

Drop rate of memories is shockingly poor.

100 minutes of digging 2,000 holes and not a single memory fragment has dropped.
This is just the first halve of the Glade I have destroyed.

Unable to dig up against the back of Scrooge's shop. I moved his building and was able to dig it. I am on PC.

Issue: You know the little plot of land right next to your house when you start the game? Half of holes I’ve dug there started to disappear at some point. This happened once before, redug the holes, everything was good. I load up the game after the crash it just had and half of my plot is gone. There was nothing planted besides the 2 in the pic but I have no idea why it’s happening bc the only other plot I have in the entire valley if my Canola farm and that hasn’t been affected 🤷🏽‍♀️

So, was in the Glade of Trust, WallE was the companion, during a thunderstorm, I was digging a straight row of holes, and WallE threw up a resource that just- stayed up, never came down.

Issue: shiny dig spots spawning too close to houses/shops can’t be dug as the one block around them isn’t accessible. This means that we have to move the house, dig it, then move it back.

Good to know and it was probably 3 days since I last used it since I moved the pumpkins to the biome. That makes sense! Ooh so when I dig up holes I can let them just sit and they will close? That is super cool! Thank you!

Lol, my words exactly, didn’t know what to call it when searching. Mine is on a Switch and I was able to clear it by completely exiting the game and restarting it.

Temporarily move the building with the terrain editor, dig up the holes, then put the building back

Issue: Upon returning to a previously dug garden I was greeted with zero dug holes.
The same had happened to more of my gardens, and reloading the game didn't change anything.
I had to dig all of the holes again, no hardship but I thought I'd mention it.
In the pic I had already started digging again.

Not sure if this counts as a full on digging issue per say, but it's the closest relation I have;

If you have too many dig holes [in an event where you dug up an entire biome for clay for example] the game seems to count the dig holes as invisible numbers into your build limit. So you can hit your build limit even if it says 307/600 because it's counting all the dig holes.

This wouldn't be so bad, but this has ALSO messed up MOON CHEST generation. I've gone two days without a Moon Chest, and I almost broke a quest that required special mushrooms to spawn in the Swamp because I had so many dig holes, so only 2 of 3 of them initially spawned. I didn't want to manually undig them, [via shovel or build mode] but I had to do so in order for the game to fix the quest.

No sign of my lost Moon Chest however.

Issue: (Keep forgetting to take photos of this, sorry!) The glowing dig spots will appear at the edge of a building or under a furniture item placed outside. The character will do the headshake movement when attempting to dig them up. To access the spot you have to move the furniture or building the spot spawned underneath. They don't go away until you do this (not sure if the spots normally go away after re-loading the game if you didn't dig up the previous ones. I assume so, but always dig them up so I'm not sure LOL!)

I will note that they do not go away even after three days, as I have let them sit because I didn't want to move buildings. It's the farmtiles that will vanish after three days currently.

I did end up trying what someone else suggested, and restarting the game (after saving) fixed the issue.

Platform: switch. Issue: no matter how much I dig (glowing spots, garden plots, w/ a buddy, etc) no memory orbs spawn. I’ve been playing for about a month and I’ve still never received an orb from digging.

Issue: digging companions not very helpful
Companions for gardening, mining, fishing, and foraging reliably toss out extra loot. I haven't noticed my digging companions doing this at all. Donald (lvl 7) and Eric (lvl 6) are currently my only digging companions.
Have primarily been using the dig tool to dig shards from the ground.
