I've been practicing pistol shooting in ACE Virtual Shooting and my reaction time between seeing a target in the same general compass heading, discerning that it was a threat, and putting two rounds center of mass is AT BEST about 0.8 seconds. I'm guessing that the A.I.'s response time in OHD is far less than that. To transition from a target at left peripheral to right peripheral is about 0.4 seconds. Doing a 180 to respond to a target would be higher than my reaction time of 0.8 seconds. Let's say 1.2 - 2 seconds. This would be someone who practices these things DAILY.

Can the A.I. reaction time and turning speed be adjusted to reflect this for trained troops, with poorly trained troops being even worse?

AI is just going to be robotic even with these adjustments. It’s moving in very limited way and reacting strange. Also bots see through grass

That's not a reason not to make the adjustment. If there are other issues, those should be addressed, too. This is something comparatively easy to tweak.
