Killing in OHD doesn't seem worth it. I mean, yeah, holding a place is good and all but if your team is losing because of ticket difference. It's almost impossible to win by holding them back because the game rewards flooding the objective with huge numbers and near spawns, there is bit/no consideration on keeping your tickets. This issue makes things like going medic or trying more complex strategies not as useful as it would be just respawning. That's why i propose to let the roles have different ticket cost if you die.

EX:
squad leader role 3 tickets
rifleman role: 1 ticket
sniper role: 3 tickets
machine gunner role: 2 tickets
and so on...

This feature not only would make certain roles to care about their impact of their deaths, but also let the possibility for asymmetrical factions like the insurgents to have remarkable advantages like having low cost roles to say something, giving each faction a unique playstyle.

I think better would be to have it based on waves like in Insurgency rather than on classes. And destroying vehicles should cost tickets too, currently it’s 0.

Killing isn’t as useless as it seems, yesterday I had match of easy Omaha Beach, flanked enemy and distracted them with 10/0 k/d and US team took flags fast. Still it’s only distraction that counted rather than killing.
