#Lock Players on Teams

This trend of players switching teams to reveal locations of enemy HABs has got. to stop!! Next update must include locking players to only one team throughout an entire session. The only exception, of course, is the auto-balance generator, which I can presume can't be helped. But if we can keep players from cheating, that would make this game a lot more tolerable!

No, this isn’t optimal solution. Some players don’t want to play as factions from opposing countries that have war irl.

Switching teams should be more nuanced and not revealing locations instantly. But then agent can infiltrate 1 team and spy still, and when starting game, spy can still be assigned to 1 team and say info to other. Some people are just bad, some complex system could be invented

Or the most optimal solution would be to force teams.
This may be war...but it's still a milsim.

There will probably just be a team-switch cooldown like most other games.

I have no formal preference to factions or any sort of politics involved in playing such teams. I'm merely remarking that it poses itself as a disadvantage.

arma reforger doesnt allow team changing when playing on Conflict mode - BUT it lets you choose your team before joining the game, and the rounds take over 2 hours typically, so this solution is not ideal for a game like OHD unless developers add team choosing and/or match intermission (a minute or two before the round starts)

a cooldown on team changing would be the better option since it wont let you change your team so quickly
