Next thing i wanna do is finish the other two corridors to the same point as the current ones and see how the map plays to figure out if i wanna lengthen them
am happy with how its turning out, fortress needs more cover though so its harder to get shot

Like little murder holes that are hard to hit the defenders through but give a good angle for the defender to fire through

The other corridor should be a bit easier to get through but leads to a maze or something inside the fort that is well defended

To do list:
Need to add a second spawn so each team has two options - done ✅
Extend corridors
Fix being able to escape
I think a roof on the fort would be nice
And the top floor should have more cover to where you’re not so exposed
Like if you stand then most the enemy would be able to see is your head
Or instead of a roof, at least more cover with slits
Also the stairs going in should be balance so that one stair faces each team
Right now both stairs face the same direction, making it so one team has an advantage

Hmm, maybe. Problem with those is I have some in my forest map looking out over a hill and I gotta point them downwards otherwise the slits are too high you can’t shoot anything below

A couple of my maps need more spawn protection
This one and, cqbuilding need it the most but walled compound also needs it
Trenches seemed to be fine but probably also needs some work
Got a lot of improvements to make over the weekend
Most urgent things are spawn protection but there are a few other issues here and there id like to fix then from there I can see what needs improving

yeah, those are perfect, i noticed you moved spawn back some and added more brush (thanks, helped a lot while killing bot8 repeatedly for a killstreak of 10 while nobody was paying attention)

Yeah so I got two versions now, one is like before and another is extended about 2x the length, still looking too add more taller brush just need to find something that will work well

no, dude, it's perfect, i just spent the last desert fortress match defending the battlement
i was able to crouch on the ramp or prone on the sniperpost and clear both battlement areas
VERY hard to hit but possible
perp got me through the brickwork

bots are working in the SDK so gonna update it but i didnt do anything to make them work lol

nav mesh is updated automatically (little progress bar bottom right), if you didnt let it finish before packaging last time, it might be the issue

Basically 6 way variant
Big road going through the middle with 4 other routes intersecting
Fortress is above road
Cars driving through
Buildings lining the routes or atleast the road
Something like this
But with assets I have access too for free or in SDK
Keep it simple. Keep it dumb. Don't worry about realism or keeping it consistent with reality. Worry about one thing. Is it fun. Is it easily graspable. If it's not, pull some WarriorJ graffiti out.
and if you're going for a california asthetic, lemme know and I can get some proper graffiti samples for you to texture from

if you want some help with level fill textures resembling those; lemme know and I can do some work to isolate a few in 2D
