#Creating a Looter Extraction mode inside of OHD

My ultimate goal with this mod is to try to get a small scale mmofps built using the physics and gun mechanics of OHD. The realistic version will most likely be a looter extraction mode built inside of OHD. Plan is to a central hub safe zone where you trade?, store loot. buy and sell to in game merchants, hopefully quest and skill system. you select what raid and your group and get transported to the in game raid zone where you gear up and fight AI and Players. If you have any interest in helping please shoot over a DM, preferbly people who know and understand UE and its blueprint system, as well as map creators

My only issue and what im trying to plan for is if i can run multiple scenes from the mod such as loading into new raid scenes so its not all squished into 1 map

MMOFPS/Extraction game loop -
Colony(Safe Zone) - The colony acts as a safe place to meet,trade,setup guild raids, and interact with merchants for quest and item barters. There will be 3 main factions/guilds as well as user generated guilds. There will be a server instance that brings all places to the main hub after coming back from either the open world or the raid zones. Essentially.

Open world - the idea is the find materials, loot the open word, build,steal, or stumble upon camps and buildings and even bases to takeover and make your own. Ideally if we can make it happen to have minimum of 50 but ideally 200 per server. If we can achieve you will be able to setup large scale faction v faction fights between npc and player factions across the map. Base building will be pretty similar to rust but the way to acquire will be different , not to sure if we can do resource gathering the traditional way .. you can find open world loot and also bring in the high tier loot found in the raid zones that you can queue for.

The raid zones - think purely looter extraction gameplay . Either you, your group, or faction can load into raid zones and participate in hardcore maps with tons of AI and Boss Npcs aswell as opposing players to gather high tier loot and materials.. think very close to tarkov style maps and gameplay. Hopefully we can get a working gun attachment system aswell as gear system visually not just for stats

AI and Bosses - AI will be based on the 3 main factions with several kill squad style bosses that will join them .. in the open world there will be chances to find the bosses but faction AI will be present in both the open world and raid zones so you will encounter friendly and non friendly AI

Skills
Players will have all types of skills that can be leveled while playing the game to increase there characters movement,hp,speed, and other factors

Like I said this a big undertaking and will gladly accept all help/feedback on the project

So for the inventory, what I would recommend is using GUIDs to store the IDs of guns

That's what Im doing with mine atm, its to battle duplication and server exploding when new guns are spawned

Thanks! sort of a reserch center type of deal. hopefully with this and the colony map i can get all the systems flushed with them both
