No, this is more of a learning UE project but my goal for this project is more than just maps. I'm going for models, guns, and sounds but it's going to take some time
Some progress so far with messing with lighting and textures
Interesting, so are those original texures of the game? Is the better lighting of UE4 just making them look fantastic?
Yep, I haven't touched the textures, just UE4 lighting π
Be careful with the lights though. They have a radius which, if left too large can tank the performance pretty quickly.
But damn, it looks awesome though π
Tbh most of the lighting rn is actually just Emissive textures other than the spot lights coming out of the hallway lights and me messing with the computer spot light (which probably won't stay). Also I still need to work on the HUD more

Na mods are normally fine especially old games but it's possible
Alright been messing with sounds today, add voice lines for the Clones and Droids π (No models yet)

Thank you π My biggest challenge is going to be the player models
Will post more pictures today, got droid model and a poorly rigged clone model too (planning to redo today) and changed the spotlight for the command post to model with opacity and emissive to give it the same look with less impact on performance
Also for the map, it will probably be changed around a bit as I learn, the first version will probably be not great
