While waiting for the next SDK update and to rebuild the animation changes and sliding (which are broken going from old SDK > new build) for casual mod, I'd like to revisit another mod I briefly made earlier this year
I'm planning on doing at the very least a basic implementation of a ZEUS editor, taking faction information, such as each class which will be spawnable, and a squad generated from multiple kits.

Players will be able to set whether they want AI to be static, which will allow for indoor scenarios and terrorist hunt style layouts
A save/load feature will allow players to take a string with positional data for AI and paste it in on future sessions
milsim stuff is actually going to be attemptable now

Would absolutely love this, as this is the one thing I've been waiting for in the game
I am going to use some of the functionality from this to get side tracked and make a linear mission
do you plan to make mission markers?

zeus and the mission thing will be seperate but
ill make whatever I do open source
planning on just basic soldier at base gives you quest, you take it and carry out basic thunt style orders
the thing about the save load system is it makes it really expandable
so I can make 100s of random scnearios
Only problem is its map specific so first iteration ill probably only make work on khafji since its the only 4km map (atleast on dev build)
i mean in the zeus mode so people will have more to do then just kill the opfor
maybe just simple stuff like move a point? capture a building or hold a area for a certain amount of time
I think a zues mode if definetly better for milsim stuff but just being able to kill things would get pretty boring after a few times
You can change the AIs attack point
Well I meant like some kind of icon on the map so people would know where to go
I have tried to make an invade & annex mode, just for constant replay ability. But only got as far as making the spawning systems of zones and their conditions on how to complete them. But didn't get around to touching the ai much as i had irl stuff to deal with e.g exams.
Is this something that will need to be set up on the map as a separate game mode within the sdk to put in a mod or is it going to have a screen where you set the spawn zone?
