#Balance & HUGE Game-Improving mechanics (A LIST).

If you're a developer or mod-maker you should read this.

I highly took care to notice all details rather than to write "ADD THAT WEAPON, THAT VEHICLE"..

This game has a very high potential

Overall Movement issues:

  • The jumping and overall moving around the map terrains should be easier, this will also allow map-makers to worry less about it.
    Fixes: Sometimes a player can't move up a foundation that's like 50cm taller
  • Add FREE-LOOK

RUN & GUN FIX:

  • A huge issue in the game is that a player can simply run, quick-aim, kill, run, quick-aim, kill. Now to fix this there should be implemented a system:
  • The less stamina you have the more your weapon moves around when aiming (Similar to Arma 3 mechanic)
  • In order to balance this add more stamina max to players
    -> YOU CAN LET SERVER OWNERS CHANGE/TURN OFF THE 2 MENTIONED SETTINGS ABOVE

Footstep sounds:

  • More footstep sounds & more advanced audio (Footstep audio changes when on different terrain)
  • Highly improves the immersion and gameplay

Local Voice Chat:

  • More immersive 3D Local Audio Chat + Stereo - this way the game will be played by youtubers and streamers due to the possibility of funny moments happening more often (Players create the moments, you can upgrade that.)
  • Local Voice chat should allow the enemy team to hear you as well (Only if you implement 3D Audio that plays audio right from the player, you can add muffling if player is in a building)

Rendering:

  • Now i am very uneducated about this topic so i'll speak as simple as possible. I checked the settings and NEAREST Render distance doesn't show some big objects which allows you to see hidden players behind like big boulders etc. Which is game-breaking Yes you can shoot through that.
  • Maybe pre-load map and increase render distance/rendered objects

Command & Communication:

  • I had a game where i had a full squad under my control having like 12 people, but as a Squad Leader i lacked lots of tactical equipment which is
  • Markers on map
  • Pings/Binoculars
  • Your squad leader on map & in-game nickname should have different color (Currently all squad members have Green-Color, however the SL should have a red/different color so your squad members know where to rally)

Medic Class & Deployables:

  • Medic class is currently fully useless.
    -> To make it more useful let medics revive the lightly wounded ones or find out a buff-way
    -> Let players drag bodies & A bleed-out mechanic
  • Rifleman with ammo-bag is currently semi-useless
    -> Most players dont even know you can refill other's people ammo, everyone is used to the technique where you deploy a ammo bag and let others refill ammo there

Machine gunner BALANCE ADJUSTMENT:

  • Machine gunners currently can run & gun, to balance this issue you can simply do this:
    -> Machine gunners will have deployable bipods or ability to setup their position
    -> Without a deployed bipod your recoil will be drastically high when firing auto
  • This way machine gunners need to setup a position & stay at it, while also can be countered by snipers
  • This also buffs machine gunners to setup their positions with a bipod and have less recoil being able to hold a point/assault/defensive position

Weapons worth adding to support mod-makers

  • Flamethrower
  • Even adding a base flamethrower to the game allows mod-makers to mod it & create their own models and stats with the base-flamethrower
  • Bayonets
  • You saw the Vietnam Map, you wanna do some shanky stabby stab, don't you?
  • Flashlight attachments & flares maybe?
  • Simply vision

Map additions

  • Openable doors
  • Shoot lights in night-maps

(Might have sync issues but worth checking)

Lastly

  • Squad leaders able to put down rally point that can respawn up to 5 teammates from same squad (Not other squad leaders) -
    BALANCE: Must be at least 500m (more/less) from the point you're fighting for, respawning has a duration, during respawning there is a visible flare, cannot be placed indoors.

binocs exist, free look is planned, swaying in ads exists in tweaked aas, you can change max stamina in a gamemode mod, melee weapons exist, you just cant attack with them, you can make flamethowers yourself, the rest of this idk if its planned and some just goes down to personal opinion like the ammo bag comment

Weapon sway on low stamina is planned, audio overhaul is ongoing, local voicechat is already in game, you cannot shoot through different things based on your render distance since ballistics are server sided, bipods and weapon mounting are planned, the medical system and ammo/inventory system will be overhauled.
