Handling is much better! But the mouse reliant driver controls especially for ground vehicles are annoying, why have reduced sensitivity feeling in vehicle? The solution to this is binding DPI toggle to high on mouse wheel button which is still a hinderance. Gunner that does switch DPI will have immense advantage over vehicle gunner without it.

Yeah. Then armour disbands there squad after losing the vehicle they had claim for in the beginning of the game, and now the team has no crew. Very annoying.
Could just increase the ticket cost of vehicles.. even better tho, make it cost tickets to spawn the vehicle so that the players have to realize that cost when they intentionally spawn it back in
Idk about increasing the ticket cost further. I think they are running into the problem where they made the vehicles so effective against infantry that their only method of nerfing is just making you use the vehicles less.
Honestly I think it would be better if they were either less effective against infantry, or better if they were weaker / infantry could kill them easier.
The vehicle damage against infantry is sorta realistic. It used to be even more deadly but over time they even nerfed vehicle damage to infantry because it would just be too punishing. On the flip side the vehicles are RPG / autocannon sponges that just keep taking shot after shot.

Automatic vehicle spawn that costs is not good design. Some noobs would drive them to some ditches and even one noob doing it regularly could compromise team score

just go with what is real to life and balance from there. I dont like that there is no penetration of walls, no good FCS, no thermals. I also think vehicles should have many damageable components and be easy enough to destroy.
I mean that when you want a tank you need to actually go to spawn and choose to spend 15 tickets to spawn that tank, and there is UI that displays the cost
The main thing is that then you can have the initial free fleet of vehicles, and you have to make a conscious decision with obvious cost when you spawn a new one in.. the UI could just tell you that this will cause you to lose the 15 tickets IF it gets destroyed rather than upfront.
Then you can only spawn a certain vehicle class in maybe if you are the correct squad type and correct role, maybe with commander approval depending on gamemode and server rules

There is a separate turning rate of the gun and the camera. the gun always lags behind trying to move itself to where you want to aim

can someone explain how you can get kicked out of a vehicle you drove from main?
If someone else is in a squad while you're not, or someone else is a squad lead while you're just in a squad, they get priority over you and can take your seat, thus kicking you out. It is meant to counter lone wolf players who don't play in squads with others taking vehicles and driving them off god knows where.
So we can run people over

Having no explosive drones in themselves, but being able to put C4 on them manually might be kinda dope

i mean, there are throwable C4 in some mods, would be cool to check if it'll work
look at how the original squad makes kamikaze drones and you'll understand what I'm talking about
Trying different Propellers on the DJI Neo to see if its possible to reduce the noise level. Turns out not the propellers are responsible for most of the noise, but DJI Neo's shell which seems to resonate a lot. This isnt looked into deeper yet, its the current assumption.

If I remember correctly armor penetration is already part of the mod in regards to being able to damage the engine and ammunition.

I think he meant that if you shoot the BTR with an rpg or other aemour penetrating round there is a chance that some crew members die even if the vehicle itself survives in a damaged state. Like killing the driver for example.

I'm doing vehicle recycling
I'm thinking of having it function like this:
If an empty vehicle is over A meters away from any friendly HAB and over B meters away from the active points (the current attack / defend flag + friendly main base), then after C seconds of continuously being in this state, it will be recycled.
Im going to have the recycle behaviour be configurable to either kill the vehicle or probably teleport it back to main.
Do any of you honeys have any input on this?
Also the A, B, and C numbers will all be configurable in Apollo just like the recycle behaviour

I have the opposite idea. The main problem is that players get these vehicles stuck out somewhere in bum duck nowhere and they cant return the vehicle back to base. The vehicles that are near important points or HABs should have the option to spawn back at main base but vehicles that are sranded somewhere will automatically disappear if no player has been in it or near it for "X" seconds.
