I think one of the most important things for an FPS is for the player to be rewarded, through either visual or auditory clues, when the player hits or kills someone. In COD, you have the disgusting marker which doesn't belong in the game, but I was thinking more alike Rising Storm 2/Red Orchestra, where one is able to hear a sound of a bullet hitting flesh upon shooting someone. The audio feedback you get feels like a very rewarding thing when you do hit or kill someone. What do you guys?

Yeah but this is more of a milsim game, it shouldn't have feedback other than the visual one of seeing your enemy die

I think with the medical overhaul you will get a good bit of what you're looking for

and whatever they're planning for blood/gore effects further down the line

In a recent update, I believe this has already been improved with the "flesh" sound effect being more prominent, but I would except further improvements as things come along.

Visualization and auditory effects are extremely rewarding to me too - also I'm fine with other aspects like markers and points in games where that feels appropriate to the tone. I'm pretty sure the entire dev team has a strong intent to maintain tone appropriate content to the vision, but also being open to optional modifications for content the community is into, best of both worlds really imo.
