we are aware they arent proper for the time
there is not really a big difference between them though, so for our purposes in pre-alpha they work fine and get the job done

I have to say those are one of the most beautiful rifle models i have seen in a quite good while especially for a Free to Play game so i understand that those are placeholders
they will still be used for the WW2 stuff, just eventually will get more appropriate WW1 stuff where those placeholders are used (i.e. Kar98 vs Kar98k--only going to be minor differences there, and we happen to have the k, which works for WW2, so its just easier for us to do at this time)
