i think the finish on the steel is already pretty dark as it is

the finish on those original type 3 ak47s dont seem to be brighter than a dark grey usually

maybe its just the way it looks under lighting ingame

Yeah but now that I think about it maybe if there were splotches of grey to make the AK look old
