need a script. very simple.

i need a script (python prefered) that can make greyscale pngs out of a set of bytes that range from 00 to ff, with the ability to set image dimensions. thats all.

to make stuff like this.

8 bits per pixel, btw. so "30" would be one pixel

It can read raw data, set dimensions and save it as grayscale PNGs, so I think all the requirements are met. 😄
