I've extracted some .asset files from the gacha game Attack on Time, but I haven't been able to convert the images into a usable format. I've tried multiple programs, but each one returns a different error depending on the tool.

Do gacha game assets typically use encryption? How can I determine if these files are encrypted? And if they are, is there a way to decrypt them?

it'd be helpful to upload a sample file for people to test

The only thing I can guess is that your asset studio may be outdated
