I'm trying to rip anything from this game, but I've run into a roadblock: there's a .pak file format here (cddata.pak and cddata2.pak) preventing me from extracting a grand majority of the game data. Does anyone know what this format might be and how I can extract it?

The PS2 port was originally developed by ASCII Corporation, which is when these file formats came up.

But this one is the "Complete Edition", which was developed by Vivarium, based on ASCII's work

#

So I'm hoping that another ASCII game from around that period (2001/2003) uses this file format and that somebody has already written an extractor for it.

I've used trid to try and identify it. Nothing substantial comes up.

There doesn't even seem to be any discernible header

#

This is what the front of the cddata.pak file looks like.

As you can see, there's a pattern, but I have no idea what it means.
