it's just. Illumination Mario himself is so goofy, that trying to look epic doesn't really work too well

like...not making a request here, but if you tried to recreate these type of poses with the Illumination model they'd probably look absurd

i didn't really want to get into a slugfest over it, but we know how Nintendo gets over intellectual property, and this site somehow flies under their radar. But I couldn't say the same for Illumination

There's some okay Customs on The Models Resource but it's also super obvious that those models were fan-made. They lack a certain finness. This model, it's God tier. It's essentially a 1:1 replica of the movie model. If the Customs page started getting those, it's no longer "fan projects" and is a lot more "worryingly close to letting anyone make their own Mario movies"

I've known about your models for around a year now @opal cobalt and am still wondering how a person barely in their teens is able to capture the movie so perfectly. We don't even have readily available character sheets from every angle to show us how Movie Mario looks but somehow you've done it
