I know the winds are changing in the mushroom kingdom and cold fronts are coming over yoshis island, making it difficult as the yoshis retreat further into the woods to shield themselves from the elements, namely the rainstorms and cold weather during this part of the year

god i like. never get tired of these drawings. they're so whimsical

however...........i did just notice

i think it would open up a whole new world of yoshi............if sometimes they faced to the right

#

i kinda get it tbh. i believe dippy sets her chair up somewhere within their settlement on yoshi's island in an area designated by the tribal chief, and the yoshis stand in a way that the sun shines directly down on them and accentuates their best features. To ask them to stand the other way may upset the chief (and perhaps they may be superstituous?)

Dippy is nothing short of amazing. she's like the Jane Goodall of yoshis

she's visited yoshis island several times, befriended them and captured their visage through art to introduce us to their world

she's even managed to befriend the self isolating loners who live independently of the tribe on the island
