I meant like specific animations for a goomba's jumping or flying for when it has wings, I didn't mean a copy of the sprites that has wings
Every utility you add multiplies your workload
I learned that one the hard way

Normal goomba (1 enemy)
Add wings (2 enemies)
Add mushroom (4 enemies)
Add parachute (8 enemies)
Add balloon (12 enemies)
Add another mushroom (18 enemies)
It just keeps multiplying with every utility added

what sprites would a balloon goomba use
Mostly great, but I think pink enemies should use either
-White/Wiggler Pink/Red (so, like Wiggler)
-Orange/Roy Pink/Black
Orange and Wiggler Pink look too close
Yeah I used white, orange, and... I don't remember which pink, but it was different enough from the orange to be visible
One of the SMB1 coral shades might work

iirc Aren't Green & Grey Cheeps the same in SMB1?
Since the only reason they appear grey in SMB1 is because they use the Green Koopa palette; which is fixed in All-Stars.
suggestion: make the broken off end pieces like in nsmb when you hit it with mega mario

In NSMB when you walk into them from the side with the Mega Mushroom
I vaguely recall this with bullet bill turrets, but not the blasters
will do this once I get to NSMB

such as spiny shell, lakitu's cloud, and stomped sprites like for kuribo's shoe on spiny enemies

A 45° Bowser would be hellishly difficult to make imo
I think they meant the 45° fires from SMB3

Also you might wanna make a better indicator of the wider brick blocks, SMB1 bricks are cursed with uniformity and that makes things like this difficult
I'd say try making the wide brick blocks just straight up have wider bricks to help break the uniformity of it

I think the water/lava from SMBDX should be used
Personally I prefer SMBDX animation for water, but not for lava
smbdx water animation is based-
literally way better compared to smm2's, that one's gonna be used for the smb1 tileset project im doing
I feel like it fits water way better but SMM2 lava has a more fitting stiffness instead
