Anyone know what software or whatnot to use in order to rip SFX from Genesis/Mega Drive games? In particular I'm looking to rip SFX from the game Chuck Rock. The music's been ripped but the same can't be said for the sound effects.

Just go to emucr site and you'll find many genesis emulators.

I do have KEGA Fusion installed on my computer.

I know that the SonicRetro project for ripping SFX from the Genesis Sonic games was done through isolating sounds with emulators.

Right now I'm looking to get clean rips of the SFX from, yes, Barney's Hide and Seek. That game actually has no option to turn off the background music outside of glitches/corruptions and that's seemingly random.
