The sprites shown above this comment are of Grundo from Neopets in the style of the Pokémon Gold/Silver sprites. I imagine if Grundo were a Pokémon, he would be like Machop, but without the second evolution.

I'm not 100% sure about the shading, but I don't think that these turned out that terribly.

For my next set of Pokémon sprites, I'm going to create sprites of Skeith, also from Neopets. I thought I'd start working on the back sprite first, considering that would be the hardest to create. Unfortunately, I don't really have much of a reference to work with... Does anyone have any input on what I could do to improve this?

Just to mention, I did use Nidorina's back sprite as a base to create Skeith's.

Here's an update to my Skeith Pokémon Gen II-style sprites. So far, these sprites seem to be harder to create, as Skeith has some smaller features than Grundo, like his face, wings, and spikes.

So far, I don't think that they don’t look terrible... not as good as Grundo’s sprites, but not bad either.

I forgot to create Grundo's shiny variant, so... here it is!

Also, here's Skeith's sprites! They might be done(?), but I'm going to wait a bit before I post them to The Spriters Resource, just in case I want to make a few tiny edits.

I imagine if Skeith was a Pokémon, he'd be like a combination of Dragonite and Snorlax. I wasn't sure what Skeith could evolve into at all, so I just left him as is.
