Ahh...you're one of the "I find anything that disagrees with me offensive" people. That's all I needed to see.

#

"I work 40 hours a week for a security firm, I usually need to devote my free time on the weekends to cover the labs I missed during the week." Complain much? 40 hours a week? That's it? GTFO....come at me when you work 50+ and have a side business you run and a family and still don't complain.

There's no value in debating you. Have a good day.

Just to add to this, I agree with @cloud surge and @dreamy ravine, everyone in this channel, including the devs and myself work 40-60 hour weeks (I consult for 40 hours FTE and 20-40 hours extra a week for my side-business, depending on how busy I am).

If you can't do it in the allotted time, buy an extension. The training is absurdly cheap compared to literally every other quality AWS/Cloud Training.

#

But this conversation is inappropriate for this channel regardless. If you want to debate the ethics or the whatever you think you're right about, save it for a private message.

#

The HackTricks team works full time jobs at one of the biggest consultancies out there, and still manages to deliver excellent training at an affordable cost.

#

I would suggest finding some work/life balance, but not criticizing the well-thought out structure of the training they provide us.

But I was able to knock out about 10-15 challenges a day on the weekends.

That's just me though. I understand people have different levels of experience, but based on what you've said, you seem to have the level of experience necessary to do the same.

I appreciate the time taken by azw and others to contribute to this discussion. However, I'd like to reiterate my stance and clarify my intentions, ensuring we maintain a constructive atmosphere within this forum.

My initial suggestion was aimed at enhancing the course's flexibility to accommodate diverse learner needs without compromising the quality or intent of the educational content. The essence of my feedback was not to diminish the course's value or demand undue attention to personal preferences but to explore avenues that could potentially benefit a broader segment of participants, especially those balancing significant professional responsibilities alongside their learning objectives.

The mention of work hours and commitments by various members, including azw, underscores the diversity of circumstances we all navigate. My intent was never to compare burdens or commitments but to highlight this diversity as a key consideration in course design and support structures.

The response suggesting the purchase of an extension is indeed a viable solution for some. However, proposing alternative structuring is about inclusivity and recognizing varying learning paces and styles, not undermining the course's value or the effort put into its creation.

Furthermore, while azw's contribution to the dialogue is acknowledged, revisiting this topic could potentially divert us from the core objective of this forum, which is mutual growth and learning. In the spirit of maintaining focus and respect for each other's time and contributions, I propose we acknowledge the range of opinions expressed, appreciate the constructive elements of this exchange, and consider this particular discussion closed.

I will not be responding anymore to this thread. Have a good day.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
