can we please fix the items that just decide to explode out of stuff we scrap in the water, ive lost so might high tech and ultra tech becuase of it, i cant always spot the tiny items bobbing in the water

plus i thought the whole point of useing the scrapping tool was for it to add all the materials to the inventory, i dont know why scrapping whilst me or the object is in the water changes that

@spark barn can confirm that scrapping large objects in the water is still an issue

Agreed it would be nice if this worked the same way as on land.

To mitigate this I dive down maybe 5-10 meters and look up, they are much easier to see. Also if the object is right next to the boat, sometimes pieces will be under the hull. Also scrapping at night in a storm is not recommended.

I have found that collecting something and holding E or equivalent key down, then scrapping the object will lead to most, if not all, of the components being pulled into your inventory. A faff, but it seems to work.
