The boat show 2000 of Diesel, no matter how many tanks you have, basically you need to trust the Percentage and ignore the actual number.

Make the UI take into account all connected tanks and Batteries when showing Numbers and graphs

If you have 3 tanks, make it take 6000 liters into account instead of just 2000 that goes down slower because of the average.

This drives me crazy on every storage tank/battery in the game...

I can understand if you are looking tank to tank, and each holds that much, but should show like tank/total connected or something

I hope this gets accepted. 🙏

Realistically, it's what you expect from just siphoning one tank into the main fuel tank. The problem is that it's not a true number, which is not great in gaming - gamers are well-trained that numbers should not be a lie, especially on a HUD like the piloting HUD.

A percentage display might be more appropriate to fuel -- liters or percentage points have no meaning to the user anyway, until they drive the boat and see how the numbers respond to use. Also, more alike to real fuel gauges, which are rarely marked to work with only one size of fuel tank.

As long as the tanks are set to equalize, the fill percentage (the arch guages) are accurate even if the actual numbers are not.

Yeah, he mentions 'you have to trust the percentage' as a negative in the post.

Well, the percentage helps ofc and the arch too, but the actual liters number bothers me BlobFearSweat

right now you go to the Orange connector on the side of the boat, and it says 800 liters... and you have like 10 tanks 😆 sooooo its actually 8000 BlobFearSweat

Well, 8,800, counting the on-board tank.

Sounds like representing it as a % might be all it takes? Instead of 800 liters, 40% full?

If your tanks are equalized, you already have a percentage. Tanks hold 2000L, when our gauge shows 1000L you know all your tanks are 50%.
