Yes, then we should return to the ship after our exploration and then be able to drive into a kind of flood chamber.
For example, as soon as we approach our ship again, a hatch opens on the left or right side and we can drive the jetski inside.
The jet ski docks in the hatch and turns back to the starting position with us. Then we can get off the jetski.
That would be awesome, developers. 🙏🙏🙏

The solution would be to have a floodable bay, but that would mean a larger ship.
I'm not opposed to that, a subdeck with access to the onboard battery and fuel tank with room to add more.
Right now the current boat feels very generic repurposed fishing-trawler/tugboat in terms of scale and capability.
I'd love to see some other hangars with other boats to switch out with, or some sort of expanded customization system with more upgrades beyond the craftable engine parts, things like hydrofoils and propulsion systems for example, with other hulls being discoverable across the map.

From my perspective, this boat seems more like an oil/gas rig or offshore wind farm support vessel (a simple bridge structure, a large open space for stores/supplies and a low freeboard) ... except many of those have the bridge towards the bow and the open deck area at the stern (which is the opposite of this model).
Now, if this were reversible here (maybe a future game update could actually allow you to remodel/reconfigure the boat rather than just repaint it) then putting a landing cradle and a crane system right at the stern would be an excellent means for lifting the jetski out of the water (for storing it on deck) plus the crane could have other uses like lifting heavy crates on/off the boat. All the while avoiding cluttering the current stern area ...

Well, it's AI on a subject that doesn't have much source material, so it's gonna look weird. The reason it looks vaguely like a Minecraft aircraft carrier is because that's about the only place you see a well deck outside of a rich kid's megayacht.

I'd takes even some gantry to lower it in and out of the water on the side, though that would prevent docking on that same side. Maybe some sort of gantry in the bow?
Either way, I'd love a spot where I could have it safely on the ship, where it would be easy to plug it in to re-fuel, easy access to the storage, repairs, upgrades, etc. Doing all that off the stern is less than ideal, and even worse at night when the critters come out to play.

I feel like where I've seen tender garages on ships, they're always super expensive ships. Like rich kid yachts, military ships, etc.
