Have the pods be salvageable and deconstruct them after looting. Tow it back to the warehouse and use the big recycler or something.

If they allow the use of the cranes, would be interesting.

Have them able to be towed by the boat, and have some kind of buildable facility under Exodus, or at Sanctuary 12/Lazarus that breaks it down into scrap/materials.
