after some time buoys seemed to have entirely stopped spawning. any theories why?

My only theory is that is spawned at the limit of its range, and you have not spotted it. Because only one will spawn at a time and if one is active, another will not spawn. Do they not spawn when you have travelled to another location? Go slow and they should respawn as you travel, far behind your boat.

i've used all the zooming tools to check horizon, sailed off into the distance and nothing.
usually if you leave an area that had one, u didn't open - it gets deleted in favour of a newer, closer one... but that aint happening either
