Hey, got an idea, could you put one Christmas tree in every location you need to visit? and connect it via an windmill? or we could connect it. If not maybe add the possibility to build one on your boat or on land. i've connected and lit all the locations in the game and it looks amazing when you go at night and you see all your places lit up and it feels so alive. If you do like the idea you could go even further, fireworks, gifts dropped from the sky as toys and can be recycled and get materials. You could do this in beta so you won't ruin anything in the game maybe? Thanks, great game. played for 140 hours or so, launched 3 people and waiting for some performance fixes so i can play even more.

The idea is good, but I think it would be more appropriate to give the opportunity to decorate "Coffee Trees" (garlands, toys - perhaps from memory, and of course gifts at each location, but in secret places. So it would be interesting to look for.). This would be a signature "Christmas Tree."
hmmm, you know if you launch your first human into space you get a reward, a seed.. a coffee seed.. what if you can find this special xmas tree seed just for Christmas? i mean, the game has so many secrets and so many stories to tell.. it might just tell you another one of Christmas right? it's the most celebrated day on earth? yeah, i think. WHy not make it in the game as well but we can only wish for this thing to actually happen in a game.. have Christmas in a game, a bit of snow, some garlands for you Xmas tree. Imagine having xmas trees everywhere installed on all your secured outposts and just cruising with you ship at night and see the lights flickering (you could do that if you run out of energy on your boat haha) but yeah.. that could bring some more support for the devs right? more videos on tiktok, shorts on youtube with.. look.. a game that let's you decorate a xmas tree in the apocalypse... anyways .. just an ideea. if anyone likes the idea, write a comment here with.. Merry Xmas!
Might be best as a seasonal event where you can earn the blueprints and the unique components required in the time leading up to the holidays, with its own production line. Make you get the thing grown, manufacture colored LEDs and glass ornaments. Require demanding resources to make the golden star.
Keep the unlocks once you've gotten them all during one of the seasonal events, but include a few that are useful in-game, too. Like cables that don't really carry much power, but are always lit to illuminate or mark areas with.
yeah, not bad but it might be a little too complicated for the devs, i bet they are working around the clock to fix some bugs right now before the end of the year.all these details you wrote above might complicate stuff haha! great idea tho`!
Well, not every suggestion has to be a 'today' suggestion.
I'm sure they already have plans built in for any seasonal implementations, given it's less than two weeks out -- but were it me, I'd suggest keep it simple for now, like holiday lights on the boat and maybe snowstorms - and focus primarily on bugfixes and features, then release any seasonal events after 1.0, and after the hotfixes for the 1.0 update.
i agree, "keep it simple" might be the wining ticket
Bonus points, you get to work on making seasonal events perfect as you can right up until the first seasonal event approaches. I'd really like some spooky Halloween decorations. Put some cobwebs and skeletons up around some of the POIs.
