Just a device you make that senses something. If it does, it turns the switch it's connected to (any type) on. Or off.

Light sensors for night lighting. Power balance sensors for supplementing low power situations with degradable wind power.

It's relatively simple to utilize, integrates with existing systems, can be gated the same way other tech is gated, and lets us tone down some of the micromanagement that isn't fun.

Power/liquid/gas sensor is probably better off being a passthrough connector itself, so it doesn't turn off the source of the information it senses.

It does have the benefit that it doesn't require changes to assets to add plugs or snap locations.
