Using fabricator erases build ability

This bug is very weird. When I tried to use the fabricator to make first a small petrol container and then a small diesel container, despite having all parts, the fabricator was stuck on a "waiting" screen with no reason given, and then my build menu no longer showed the modules whatsoever. Pictures first showing that I had all parts and skills, waiting screen, then final is the build menu sans those two modules.

those aren't available in the character's build menu because they require resources to be connected to the fabricator to fill them up as they are built
