Hi, I know maybe that's not the right place but I feel like more attention will be paid here.

I suggest you add support for discord://-/channels/<user id> (discord app protocols) while we are doing posts in BBB forum

This would be a valuable addition, facilitating easy access to user profiles right from our post in BBB. Including such a feature would make the user experience more intuitive and engaging, bridging the gap between our posts and the Discord application.

When we try to utilize the standard BBCode for supporting URLs, it doesn't function as intended because it automatically prepends 'http://' at the beginning and we all know that is not how protocol work.

There is an unofficial list of discord app protocol that can be used https://gist.github.com/ghostrider-05/8f1a0bfc27c7c4509b4ea4e8ce718af0 you may add whitelist to some of them.

It's kinda unnecessary since FQLs do redirect them to the app if it's installed, it's only an inconvenience for those who don't have Discord installed, in their case the link will go no where

#

Many people prefer using browser version of Discord, so this will not work for them

#

Also, post your suggestions on the suggestion forum on BBB from next time 🍻
