#MC Rework – Doesn’t Feel Like a Main Character Yet

The MC honestly feels underwhelming right now. Even though they’re supposed to be a “special” character with element switching, in reality they don’t bring much value compared to gacha units.

I don’t think the game should rely this much on gacha just to make a team feel strong. For an idle RPG, that kind of design already feels outdated.

The MC should be more flexible and actually usable, like in other RPGs where your main character can stand on their own without needing to pull better units first.

Making the MC a support is totally fine—but right now it feels like a low-impact support. A support role should still feel meaningful and impactful, not easily replaceable.

It would be great if the MC could have actual role options, like:

  • Ranged (Mage / Archer)
  • Melee (Tank / Assassin / DPS)
  • Or a proper Support with strong utility

Also maybe add some kind of skill tree or build system so players can shape the MC based on their playstyle.

Right now, the MC just doesn’t feel worth investing in, especially for mid to late game.

This is actually a good suggestions, and system like this does appear in several gacha-games already, old one like Granblue Fantasy or a newer one like Honkai Star Rail
In result, MC are not the most useful character but could be reliably used in any Situation any team
This would make new player experience way better aswell
