The pet does not use its skill when it has the Flapping Wing familiar talent on. It should reduce its cooldown to 0, so the skill has to begin right at the start if the battle. But it does nothing, I tried it very often in different scenarios and lineups, where the enemy front line definitely should get knocked back.
