#Familiar Points Progression

Yes this must be an oversight because this is a needlessly punishing system. It takes forever to build up your familiar's pity and it's a lot of resources invested for the extra talent. I know a few players who have had their progress reset through no fault of their own and it's incredibly demoralizing
If it happens to me i'm going to be really pissed
Hopefully people come here and show they care about this but im not optimistic
There's a lot of people who care about this, just give it time
also it's one of those things that only affects a small number of players
@past gale just posted about that in general chat too today
And i agree, if we dont keep the familiar, it shouldnt reset to 0 but maybe reduce 10%
I agree, this system seems quite brutal to lose 100% of progress due to bad RNG
I want to raise a concern regarding the pet fusion system. A game is meant to be fun, not humiliating or punishing. Players can spend several weeks collecting pets and performing fusions, only to be unfairly penalized at the end. Reaching nearly 3000 points, attempting a level 5 fusion, and then having the level reset to 0 after refusing a bad talent outcome is extremely unfair.
Moderation insists that “everything is clearly explained,” effectively shifting the blame onto players. I want to remind everyone that when I started the game, it was in French—I did not choose to play in English. I would never have started the game if it hadn’t been in my native language. I’ve accepted the developer’s choices and remained loyal to the game, but please understand that English is not my native language, and I have to make a daily effort just to decode the mechanics.
Now, after losing several weeks of farming due to this fusion issue, I am very frustrated. The pet system is now fundamental to ranking well. It’s too late for me, but SGR should address this problem as a top priority to prevent other players from being unfairly penalized. I also find it frustrating that upcoming updates focus on relatively minor things, like Chorak Inspiration 5, while this critical issue remains unresolved.
Note: This issue is more of a bug than a suggestion, and it should probably be moved to the bug report section for proper attention.
I agree, I went fully pity 3000 slow grinding exp to get my pet 5th talent and now towards the 6th, I am at 500/5000 it's insane how grindy and slow it is. It shouldn't matter if we fuse accept to fuse the pet or not when it comes to experience, it should still level up, no dark souls mess vibes here please.
I’ve just realized the explanations were hidden behind that tiny exclamation mark… this is honestly ridiculous.
Information is scattered behind multiple exclamation points, and the most critical detail is completely hidden in the middle of nowhere.
Why does the UI feel like it’s actively working against the player?
