Hello,
This morning I summoned on a banner clearly labeled Elec / Necro.
Before reaching the 300th pull, I obtained Aemonleyda, who is Aura / Radiance.
I am aware that there is a non-zero probability of summoning a character outside the banner’s elemental pool.
However, I strongly believe that this should not be the case, especially on banners that explicitly advertise specific elemental types.
I want to highlight how frustrating this situation is. The character obtained does not match the elemental types advertised on the banner, which feels misleading and highly demotivating.
I deliberately avoid Radiance banners. It is therefore very frustrating to have the game system force a Radiance character on me, especially when it is an exclusive unit. I understand that part of the gacha design relies on frustration mechanics, but here the lasting feeling is not “bad luck” — it is the feeling of having been misled.
Getting an exclusive character before the 300th pull is already extremely rare. When that rare event results in a character that does not correspond to the banner’s elemental description, the emotional response quickly shifts from disbelief to anger.
I have seen that in the Chinese version of the game, which is currently ahead and already in Season 5 while we are in Season 3, this type of banner is still in use. This means the issue persists across seasons, and I find this situation abnormal. In my opinion, it goes beyond frustration mechanics and enters the territory of anti-game design.
At the very least, the elemental rules of a banner should be strictly respected, or this behavior should be clearly disclosed in advance.
Thank you for taking the time to read this report and for looking into this issue. I appreciate any clarification or adjustment you can provide.
