The Adventure button does not work for me.
(*At least it didn’t majority of the day.)
When attempting to use the Adventure button, there is a constant loop sending me from the Temporal Vortex to my camp or from my island back to the Temporal Vortex.
The only way to break through the glitch loop is to click the Shield button and use the Area Exploration to use a Fast Travel teleport.
^Once I did this it fixed my glitch.
Playing on an iPad.

I think it is not a bug. Same for me and probably all players. Vortex seems to be part of the adventure, so when you click on adventure button, you are teleported on the last adventure location i think
you can use the map in the top left to move elsewhere if needed

You can’t use that mini map to get anywhere in the Adventure / Story Mode when it’s constantly sending you between the Temporal Vortex & your island or camp.
I have never before had to take the long way through the menu to get to Adventure mode.
It is a small glitch that I’ve never had before.
