#Non-Steam PC Client Stability

Trying to start the client is a massive pain currently. A game version check failed warning pops up almost every time, and requires you to restart the client, at which point it does something odd- It does a game version check, but allows you to click play as if you're going to go into the game, resulting in the same warning.

Allowing the check to go through after the restart fixes the issue, but twice before it did not, and required a full task shut down, going into task manager and ending the task that way.

No need for User ID since this happens before you can possibly log in.

It does persist between clean installs, though a clean install stops it from happening for at least a few attempts

  1. Brand new computer with a 5070 graphics card. Model is MS-7D37.
  2. USA. Specifically Missouri.
  3. I believe this is a log of the issue but i can't be sure. A cursory glance seems like it? It happens so sporadically that it's an annoyance but it's hard to get proof.
  4. Will post a screenshot if it happens again, but can't currently reproduce. Seems to happen most when the launcher is minimized for a day?
