I’m 100% it’s because Chinese culture don’t show you skulls and stuffs.
If you ever check any Chinese video about the game you can see that they use another skin for vinyara too.

Also I don’t really like it they change it, because Calavera was one of the coolest looking character(my personal favorite is the bride from s3).

Also where the hell is the promised option to change back the skins for the OG version?!

By the way, and staying on topic, Calavera is a character inspired by the Día de Muertos, the traditional Mexican Day of the Dead celebration.

She embodies the spirit of the Catrina, an elegant figure representing death, not as something sad, but as a natural and beautiful part of the cycle of life.

We could dive deeper into the lore of this tradition, but even from this brief context, it’s clear that altering her design makes little sense beyond the censorship of skull imagery in China.

But come on, this is the global version. We really shouldn’t still be affected by censorship that doesn’t apply to us.

Regardless of that, the new art team seriously needs a rethink. I truly believe they’re stripping away the essence of what Dragonheir is supposed to be. Just look at Aspalta, Ozul, Felosia, Lossenia, or, more recently, the disaster we’ve seen with Yfeir.

I personally like Calavera's skin. Its a different take on the character. You can make up some lore about this being how she looked before she died, things like that.

It doesnt have to be the doom and gloom that iis being shown here.

How do you hear the loudest minority? It is just a channel for suggestions for everyone expressing their opinions. And that's all and it is welcomed. Now if you have in-game surveys to define minority and majority s opinions on topics, please feel free to share the results. Please, stop taking sides and be neutral. If someone is against something, it doesn't mean they hate the game or nag for everything. On the contrary they care. The safest and fairest is to do a survey for the new designs as they did before. But for sure, the new designs are lenient to east anime theme and that's why there are some complaints.

I dont like your tone, so speak with some respect as flora does. And of course, if someone is satisfied, they will not write anything (exept in surveys). Always, when you dont like something, you speak. It happens in everyday life.

And to be on topic too, i like both versions of the Design, but the old version is just so much "more" than the new one. I find it not fitting enough for the dsrk fantasy/dnd style of our game. But that doesnt make it bad regardless.

Wish we could just choose (and have the new/other skins on top to purchase)

Tbh, I really don’t think there’s anything to “solve” here because there’s nothing that needs solving.
Calavera is an existing character, and there have never been any complaints about her appearance. It’s just that, in China, due to local restrictions, she’ll have a different skin for that version.
It shouldnt affect us in any way, so there’s nothing to solve.

But I agree, fairest would be let the new skin as buyable skin

i just dont understand why we dont keep all the old designs every game has their Global and CN design because of the censorship, all games do it when there is 2 versions of the game one for global and other one for CN. Bring teh skulls back, bring the darkness, bring the old school design thats what made people like the design! Devs are just being lazy imo by copy pasting all content without putting some effort to global community desires.
