Not only a suggestion, but an urgent appeal:
Please keep and reeinvent the tight and interlocked connections between narrative, visuals, sounds etc. to reach the ingenious amalgamation of the different spheres from the old S1. Playing Dragonheir can be a joyful game and also an aesthetic experience filled with adventures, a lot of fun and surprise.
Actually, it would have been really great to discover the new island on the Athercain map yourself (in fact I expected this).
Invent new quests and NPC-fights for each new season. Refresh tower defenses and chest minigames. Keep the richness and variety of the Dragonheir-World. So far I mainly clicked menu buttons in the new S2.
Give me a substantive reason to fight and improve my teams! I want nothing less than to save the world playing this game. Therefore align events, dungeons and playmodes with the Saga of Adenthia. Mind and broaden the fictional impact of the lore. Make playing the game meaningful again!
Hire again exceptional artists, voice actors, designers, composers and writers. It makes me feel good to support them with my top-ups. I even downloaded the 2023 soundtrack. 🙂
I plead for all this because there are some current developments that make me nervous like the alteration of characters and places - for example Malak and the Goblin Lair; or like the implementation of static images like the new island instead of dynamic planes like the campground; a lot of new places are not represented on the map; to jump to the dungeons via the map doesn‘t work like before; new sounds lack atmosphere and uniqueness like the "music" on the new island mode (can I please have the possibility to turn it off, but keep the rest of the environmentals?) or some new "click sounds"; only to name a few and obvious ones.
Let exploring Adenthia stay a joyful and exciting adventure!
